DRINK THE MILK

 

Qorin’tiyim 1/1Corinthians 2:11-16

For who among men knows that of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? So also, that of Elohim no one has known, except the Ruach of Elohim.

12 And we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Ruach that is from Elohim, in order to know what Elohim has favourably given us,  

13 which we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Ruach Ha’Qodesh teaches, comparing spiritual with spiritual.

14 But the natural man does not receive that of the Ruach of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him, and he is unable to know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual discerns indeed all, but he himself is discerned by no one. For “Who has known the mind of Yehovah? Who shall instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Mashiach (Messiah).

Luqas/Luke 14:26

“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and his own life too, he is unable to be My talmid (disciple).

The above verses need to be explained. I personally heard a person saying that she had to hate her mother-in-law, because the Bible says so. Obviously, she is in deep error. Yehovah and Yehoshua taught us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and not to hate.

The word hate could be one word that was not easy to translate from the Hebrew and the translators simply called it hate. But it does not mean literally to hate, it is a figure of speech indicating that we must love Yehovah with all our hearts first, almost to say the other affections are like hate compared to it. But Yehoshua never taught against His own Word, for He is the Word made flesh.

See Yochanan/John 1:1,2,4

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was Elohim, 2 He was in the beginning with Elohim. 4 In Him was Chai, (Life), and the Chai was the light of men.

Yehovah must be first, and He must receive our complete love all the time.

Shemot/Exodus 20 :1-3 And Elohim spoke all these Words saying, “I am Yehovah your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt), out of the house of slavery. You have no other gods against Me.”

Yehovah must to be first in our lives, for He is our Creator, and we belong to Him.

Devarim/Deuteronomy 6:4-5

“Hear, O Yisrael: Yehovah your Elohim, Yehovah is one!  And you shall love Yehovah your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.”

Wayyiqra/Leviticus 19:18

“Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people.  And you shall love your neighbour as yourself. I am Yehovah.

Yehoshua did not give a new commandment but quoted the Torah.

Mattithyahu/Matthew 22:36,37-38

“Teacher, which is the great Command in the Torah?” And Yehoshua said to him, ’You shall love Yehovah your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.

38 This is the first and great Command, and the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ ‘On these two Commands hang all the Torah and the Nevi’im.”

At this point it is vital I also mention the following verses:

Mattithyahu/Matthew 5:17-18

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah (Law, instructions) or the Nevi’im (Prophets). I did not come to destroy but to complete. 18 For truly, I say to you, till the shamayim (Heaven) and the earth pass away, one yod or one title shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.”

It is very important that we must compare Scripture with Scripture. I am very upset when they slander a person who keeps the commandments. What did Yehoshua said to the man who came to Him wanted to know what else to do to enter the Kingdom? He had obeyed all the commandments. Yehoshua did not say he did not need to obey them! But He saw his heart. He was rich and could not give up all his riches and follow Yehoshua. The commandments are the rules of our King if we want to live in His kingdom. We must obey them, for by obeying them we are loving Him with all our hearts and obeying our neighbour as ourselves. But because we are sinners, our sin brought forth death in our lives. We actually earned the death penalty witch leads to hell, far away from our Savior, Yehoshua. You know all about it, but you can read Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 3:23; 6:23.

We need the Blood of Yehoshua to cleanse us.

We need to be born again by His Spirit, and that cannot happen until we repent of our sins to Yehovah and are born again of His Spirit. (See Yochanan 3:3-8) and we become His children when we receive Him, Yehoshua who die in our place and to give us life.

Yochanan/John1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in his Name.

 Qorin’tiyim 1/1 Corinthians 3:1-3

And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual ones but as to fleshly, as to children in Mashiach (Messiah).

2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food, for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able, 

3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is envy, and strife, and divisions among you, are you not fleshly and walking according to man?

To be fleshly means not in lead by the Spirit of Yehovah, but by self. You cannot take the above verse literally. The Apostle Shaul/Paul did not buy milk and fed them with it!

Let us also read the following verses.

Ivrim/Hebrews 5:12-14

For indeed, although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first elements of the Words of Yehovah. And you have become such as need milk and not solid food.

13 For everyone partaking of milk is inexperienced in the Word of righteousness, for he is a child.

14 For everyone partaking of milk is inexperienced in the Word of righteousness, for he is a child.

I picture our Father in Heaven feeding us His Milk. But this does not mean He is a mother who is nursing us from her breast. It is a picture letting us know we are still babies who need to learn the elementary teaching about Him and His Word. He Word is to us like milk that gives us life. If we starve a baby, that baby dies. Many newborn again believers are spiritually dying for lack of Milk that their pastors have not provided for them. Pastors, you are a shepherd under the Great Shepherd, you must teach your sheep. If it is too difficult for you to teach them, please leave the pulpit. But I am sure you will be obeying the Great Shepherd and teach and love your sheep.

 

Note: Spirit of Elohim = Spirit of God in English

Ruach Ha’Qodesh  = Holy Spirit

Yehoshua is the only Ben/Son of Yehovah, our Creator, whom the translators call simply “the LORD.” to their shame. They hide the correct name of our Father in Heaven.

Yehoshua means Yehovah Saves, while the invented name Jesus means nothing. In Yehoshua was born to a Hebrew family in Israel, and the angel when He came to Miryam gave Him the name Yehovah because He would save us from our sins.  (Luqas/Luke1:30-35)

It is time to speak truth.
