YEHOSHUA IS ON TRIAL

Today I must speak more in detail on Yehoshua’s trial. I will not write all the verses that He fulfilled, for this message cannot be that long. But I will write some very important verses concerning what I am about to highlight. As I mentioned in my last message, Yeshua was betrayed by one of the apostles, and sold for 30 pieces of silver. He was mocked, beaten, blindfolded and struck in the face, and they asked Him to prophesy.
Prophesy!” Who is the one who struck You?” Luqas/Luke 22: 64
It is obvious they were mocking Him!
“As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying, “If You are the Mashiach, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will by no means believe. And if I also ask, you will by no means answer Me or let Me go. Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the Power of Elohim.” Then they all said, “Are You then the Son of Elohim?” So He said to them, “You rightly say that I am.” And they said, “What further testimony do we need? For we have hard it ourselves from His own mouth.”Luqas 22:66-71
Yehoshua spoke truth, but they refused to believe in Him. He came into this world to save us from our sins. The religious leaders were jealous of Him ministry. They felt guilty because Yehoshua revealed their secret sins. They spoke of keeping Torah, but they did not. They rather obeyed their own traditions.  But let us not forget that all these accusation against Him had to happen in order for Him to fulfill the plan of Yehovah, which was to redeem Israel, His Chosen People and all humanity, all of us, from our sin.
He was handed over to Pilate to be killed, but he found him innocent, and declared him - not guilty.
Luqas 23:3-4 So Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews”?  He answered him and said, “It is as you say.”
We read again the words of Pilate in the following verses.
14-15 “And indeed, having examined Him in Your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him; no, neither did Herod for I sent you back to him.
Please notice that Yehoshua was not going to push His own righteousness, to come out of this trial. He was bold and stated His identity in face of opposition. He was not afraid of anyone. He was in control of His life until the end of His earthly life. Of course they had to reject Him in order for the plane of Yehovah to be fulfilled.
Pilate wanted to release him, but to no avail.
But they shouted, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”Luqas 23: 21
Now let us see what He said on the cross.
“There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand, and one on the left. Then Yehoshua said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Luqas 23:32-34
Yeshua did not react to all these attacks with indignation as we would have done. No, He was completely submitted to the will of His Father in Heaven in order to save us. He forgave you and I for saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”
It was our personal and corporate sin that cause Him to be on that cross. He was born for this reason only, and He fulfilled His destiny. The crowd continued to mock Him, including the soldiers who put Him on the cross.
The sign on the cross read “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS”
Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If you are the Mashiach, save Yourself and us.  But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear Elohim, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong. “Then he said to Yeshua, “Adonai, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.’ And Yehoshua said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”Luqas 23:39-43
Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Yehoshua had He cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last.  So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified Elohim, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!” Luqas 23:44-47
Yehoshua died and open the way for man to come into the presence of the Father in Heaven, Yehovah. Now we can enter as priest into the most holy place with the blood of Yehoshua. He is indeed what He said He was.
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.”Yochanan/John 14:6
In the past we needed the blood of animals to be sprinkle on the altar, but now we have a better sacrifice. The very Blood of Elohim was shed for you and me. We can commune with our Father in Heaven without anyone interceding for us. In fact Yehoshua is our intercessor now.  We can talk with our Father in Heaven when we address Him in the Name of Yehoshua. We can talk with Him, and He answers us. He loves us so much that He indeed gave His only Begotten Ben/Son that whoever believes in Him, may not perish, but have everlasting Life. (See Yochanan/John 3:16).
He is the only way of salvation! The animal blood, the lamb on Passover, or the goat on the day of atonement, would provide some temporary relief, but yet it could not remove the sin. However now Yehoshua Himself is the atonement for our sin. The perfect Elohim who became Man, to die as a Man, has become our permanent Atonement.  By believing and receiving Yehoshua/Yeshua, as we acknowledge and repent for our sin, He forgives us, and we indeed pass from death to life. We are born again! He will cancel all our sins, as though we never sinned. This is amazing indeed! What a blessing!
“For Elohim did not send His Ben/Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Ben of Elohim.” Yochanan 3:17-18
Yehoshua did not stay on the cross as some religion paints Him on the crucifix! He looks so helpless. Yes, indeed He was on that cross for six hours, and was buried. But after three days and three nights, as mentioned in my last message, He rose from the dead. (See Yochanan 20). Because He rose and is alive, we will also rise from the dead, and live with Him for eternity. We no longer fear death. For death is a promotion into the real life.
Listen now to what is sense Yeshua is saying to us.
“A human being is not perfect, because of his sin. He could not die for Himself to be redeemed. I had to come, and lay down My life for humanity. I was born of a virgin, born to die, to become the Atonement needed for humanity. My Life for your life. You can never pay Me back. You have nothing that can pay the value for a human soul.  All you need to do is to believe I am your Mashiach, your Atonement, and you are free like Barabbas. I died in the place of Barabbas, in your place. Just believe. Be thankful I rose from the dead after three days and three nights. Because I rose, you will also rise again. Your past will be forgotten. You will be with Me in Paradise for eternity. Do not focus on this present life, but focus your affection on things above. These life attractions are deceiving, empty, void of any spiritual value. They do not satisfy the hunger in your heart. I am the Bread of Life, only I can satisfy the longing in your heart. I am your only Way, Truth and Life.”

OUR MASHIACH DIED AND ROSE AGAIN

No one had power to kill Yehoshua/Yeshua except by the will of the Father in Heaven. As mentioned in other messages, Yehoshua only did what the Father told Him to do. Dying on the cross was the perfect will of the Father because by His death and resurrection He would save the Jewish People and the whole world from their/our sin.
I get upset when I hear Gentiles saying that the Jews kill “Jesus.” Yes, they handed Him over to be crucified because He had to die. Someone had to betray Him, and Yeshua predicted it.  The betrayer was Judas one of His apostles.
(See Mattithyahu/Matthew 26:20 -25; Luqas 22: 48)

He was betrayed for 30 Pieces of silver
Zekharyah 11:11-13 So it was broken on that day. Thus the poor of the flock , who were watching me, knew that it was the word of Yehovah, Then I said to them, “If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver. And Yehovah said to me, “Throw it to the potter”- that princely price they set on Me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of Yehovah for the potter.”

Mattithyahu 27:3-9 Then Yahudah/Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned my betraying innocent blood” And they said, “What is that to us: you see to it!” The he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and  went and hanged himself. But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are the price of blood.” And they consulted together and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Zekharyah the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, and gave them for the potter’s field, as Yehovah directed me.”

Someone had to condemn Him to death, and had to die by crucifixion, according to the Scriptures. The following is Yehovah speaking of Himself.
Tehillim/Psalm 22:16-17 “For dogs surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me, they pierced My hands and My feet; 17  I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.

Our Jewish Mashiach is Elohim, and knows the end from the beginning.
Zekharyah 12:10-11 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim the Spirit of Grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only Son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great morning in Yerushalayim.”

At the cross they divided His garments
18 They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.
Also fulfilled: Yochanan/John 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Yeshua, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. 24 They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be.” That the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”

He had to fulfill all the scriptures concerning His first coming. But please, o Gentile, if you are blaming the Jewish people for killing Him, you are deceiving yourself, for you are the one who crucified Him, and continue to add to your guilt every time you sin. All of us are guilty of His death, because all of us are sinners.

Our hands are filled with blood.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 59:3  For Your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; You lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.
Yehoshua forgave those who crucified Him. From the cross He cried out “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.”
As already mentioned He had to die for us all. Yehovah no longer needed animal sacrifices that could not remove the sin, but He gave Himself up to be our Sacrifice. He became our true everlasting Atonement!

Yeshua became Man to die on the cross in order to redeem mankind. When you read the Brit Chadashah you will learn that they tried to kill him by stoning, but could not because He had to die in the way that He would shed His own Blood which is His life. This blood is the payment for our redemption. He paid the price for our sins in FULL!
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of Yehovah been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, There is not beauty that we should desire Him.

3 He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him; 4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our shalom, was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; And Yehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9 And they made His grave with the wicked-but with the rich at this death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. 10 Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of Yehovah shall prosper in His hand. 11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. 12 therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession of the transgressors.

Yeshayahu saw the Crucifixion long before it took place. It was Yehovah who sent His only Ben/Son to be our substitute. The penalty for our sin is death, and Yeshua did it for you and me. He paid the price in full. He is your and my Jewish Mashiach!  He is our Brother and our Savior! You must put your trust in Him and find peace, love and joy, as you never could attain any other way.

He said,  I am  the Way, the Truth, and the Life, No one can come to the Father except through Me.” Yochanan 14:6
Finally I now share His own prophecies concerning His death and resurrection.
The Jews wanted to see a sign in order to believe Him.
“And evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to  it except the sign of the prophet Yonah. 40 For as Yonah was three days and there nights in the belly of the great fish , so will the Son of Man be three days and there nights in the heart of the earth.” Mattithyahu/Matthew 12:39:40
Mattithyahu 17:22 “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, 23 and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.”

There are many references of His prophecies and I cannot write them all. Also I include one reference of this resurrection and going back to Heaven. He appeared to Miryam first when she came to the empty tomb.
Yochanan 20: 15 Yeshua said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping ‘ Whom are you seeking?”  She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Si , if You have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Yeshua said to her, “Miryam! She turned and said to Him, Rabboni! Yeshua  said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and Your father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’”
Ma’aseh/Acts 1:4-11
Please get a copy of the complete Bible and read the Brit Chadashah. If you do you will be convinced that Yehoshua is indeed your Mashiach. Thank you for reading this message. May the love of the Father fill your heart as you discover your Jewish Mashiach. He will answer all your questions, and you will know Him personally. Yield your life to Him, and He will write your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life forever.
Shalom

YEHOSHUA THE REJECTED MASHIACH

This is part 3 of to the Jew first.

Yehoshua, also called Yeshua, which is the contracted form of Yehoshua, which in English is Joshua, as mentioned in a previous message, is the Ben Dawid or Son of David. The Gospel of Mattithyahu in the Brit Chadashah/New Testament gives us His detailed genealogy. Yeshua is the Word of Yehovah made flesh.

Yochanan/John 1:15, 9-13 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. 2 He was in the beginning with Elohim. 3 All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be. 4 In Him was Chai, (Light), and the Chai was the Light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 9 He was the true Light, which enlightens every man, coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world came to be through Him, and the world did not know Him.  11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name. 13 Who were born not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim.

I have spoken in a previous message that Yehoshua or Yeshua, who some erroneously call Him Jesus, was born as the descendant of Dawid HaMelekh. Therefore Yehoshua was indeed the King of Israel!
Please note that the letter J is not in the Hebrew alphabet. This letter was invented long after the birth of our Mashiach, and, this letter J,  is only about 500 years old.
Yehoshua came first to the Lost Sheep of Yisra’el, to save them from their sin. Man is born in sin, as result of the sin of the first man Adam. Yehoshua is also called the second Adam, for He came to undo, or to recover what was lost. Adam had communion with Elohim every day until the fall. This communion it has been restored in this Mashiach-King-Savior–Elohim Yehoshua.
How could He rescue us, the Jews first, and then, all humanity, from our fallen nature and bring us back to our Father in Heaven? Yehoshua, the only Ben of Elohim Yehovah, came as a Servant to take the penalty of our sin, which is death. He left Heaven and became Man. At the right time He had to die, and He did that, when  voluntarily,  He took our place on the stake or cross.  Yes, man, betrayed Him as prophesied. However, it was necessary to save the Jewish people, and all humanity.
Now I will write a few Scriptures. We already know that Yehoshua  is the Ben of Elohim.

Tehillim/Psalm 2:16; 11-12  Why do the gentiles rage, and the peoples meditate emptiness? 2 the sovereigns of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yehovah and against His Mashiach, 3 “Let us tear apart Their bonds, and throw away Their ropes from us.” 4 He who is sitting in the shamayim laughs, Yehovah mocks at them. 5 then He speaks to them in His wrath, and troubles them in His rage, 6 “But I, I have put My Sovereign on Tsiyon, My qodesh mountain.” “I inscribe for a law: Yehovah has said to Me, ‘You are My Ben, Today I have brought You forth.
Here begins a prophetic utterance for the future, and continue now in verse 11
Serve Yehovah with reverence, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Ben, lest He be enraged, and you perish in the way. For soon His wrath is to be kindled. Barukh are all those taking refuge in Him.
I needed to establish once again that Yehoshua is the Ben of Elohim.
He came from heaven to be our Sacrifice; we no longer would need animals.
Tehillim/Psalm 40:6-9 You, Yehovah my Elohim have done many things; the wonders you have devised for us cannot be set out before You; I would rehearse the tale of them, but they are more than can be told. 7 You gave to understand that you do not desire sacrifice and meal offering; You do not ask for burnt offering and sin offering. 8 Then I said, “See, I will bring a scroll recounting what befell me.” 9 To do what pleases you, My Elohim, is My desire; Your Teaching is in My inmost parts.
The above verses are prophetic words spoken by the prophet and King David about our Mashiach!  Yehovah came to this world to pay the penalty for our sin. We are all sinners!

Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4 “See, all beings are Mine, the being of the father as well as the being of the son is Mine. The being that is sinning shall die.”
Romiyim/Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Elohim, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Mashiach Yehoshua, whom Elohim set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness.

Yehovah made a way for us to be reconciled to Him as He was with Adam in the beginning of Creation. We can know Yehovah and Yehoshua personally when we believe and accept Him. We must be born again.

Yochanan/John 3:1-5 And there was a man of the Pharisees, Nakhdimon was his name, a ruler of the Yahudim. 2 this one came to Yehoshua by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him. 3 Yehoshua answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see the reign of Elohim.” 4 Nakhdimon said to Him, “How is a man able to be born when he is old?”5 Yehoshua answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Ruach, he is unable to enter into the reign of Elohim. 6 That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Ruach is spirit. 7 “Do not marvel that I said to you, “You have to be born from above.’
When a person recognizes their need for Yehovah, and surrender their lives to Yehoshua , our Atonement, we become born again. His Ruach haQodesh comes into our life and we are then born again.
But for this to take place Yehoshua had to first die to redeem us from our sin.
Some folks think they are so perfect and they do not want to recognize they are sinners. For instance, Have you ever looked to a woman with lust? This is sin. Have you cheated on your spouse? That is also sin. Have you stolen even only a pen or pencil? This is also sin. Have you had an abortion? This is murder. Read the Torah, and the Shemot 20 and listen a simple list of sins. We cannot redeem by ourselves. Our good works are like filthy rags, Yeshayahu said it by inspiration of the Ruach haQodesh.

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 64:6 And all of us have become as one unclean, and all our righteousness are as soiled rags. And all of us fade like a leaf, and our wickednesses, like the wind, have taken us away. And here is no one who calls on Your Name, who stirs himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our wickednesses.  8 And now, O  Yehovah, You are our Father. We are all the work of Your hand.
Yeshayahu 59:1-3 Look, the hand of Yehovah has not become too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear. 2 But your wickednesses have separated you from your Elohim. And your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing. 3 For your hands have been defiled with blood, and your fingers with wickedness; your lips have spoken falsehood, your tongue mutters unrighteousness.

We need a Savior, and He came!
As mentioned He was not accepted by His own people. He was betrayed by one of disciples. Yehovah said it long before it happened.

Tehillim 41:9 “Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up His heel against Me.”
Zekharyah/Zechariah 11:13 And Yehovah said to me, ‘Throw it to the potter,” the splendid price at which I was valued by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the House of Yehovah for the potter.
Mattithyahu/Matthew 26:14,15; 20- Then one of the twelve, called Yahudah from Qeriyoth, went to the chief kohenim, 15 and said, “What would you give me to deliver Him to you? And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. 16 And from then on he was seeking an occasion to deliver Him up.
20 And when evening came, He sat down with the twelve. 21 ad they were deeply grieved, and began to say to Him, each of them, “Adonai, is it I? 23 And He answering, said, “He who has dipped his hand with Me in the dish, he shall deliver Me up. 24 “Indeed, the Ben of Adam goes as it has been written concerning Him, but woe to that man by whom the Ben of Adam is delivered up! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born. 25 And Yahudah-he who delivered Him up-answering, said, “Rabbi, is it I ? “ He said to him ,”you have said it.”
Yehovah knew who would deliver Him, and He knew what kind of death He would die.
I will end here for today, but will continue on my next message. Meanwhile please read the Brit Chadash/New Testament, your Jewish Book,  and learn all about your Jewish Mashiach. The Book has been written by Jewish men, except maybe for Luqas, but we do not know for sure if he was Jewish or not. Read the Scriptures, and you shall know the truth and the Truth will make you free. You will have a personal relationship with your Creator as you invite into your life.
