NEW CREATION

 

We must be aware as believers in Yehoshua, that we are a new creation. Yehoshua taught Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, a very important lesson. You see, the Jews had been given the Torah and it is mostly translated as “Law” in the English language. The Torah which includes the Ten Commandments. The Jews believed that by obeying them they would be saved. However, the Commandments alone would not do that. They are rules that Yehovah has given us to live us holy lives, to avoid the attacks of Satan and his demons.

Our sin requires death. It actually kills our soul. We need blood to atone for our sin. To atone sin, someone had to die. So He, Yehovah also gave us the animal sacrifices. But that was also not sufficient to remove the sin permanently, it was only a temporary thing, and needed to be repeated continually when a person sinned. However, it revealed the seriousness of our sin, and the holiness of Yehovah.

In due time Yehovah, our Creator, sent His only Ben/Son to die for us. He became our atonement that took our sin away for ever.

Yehoshua did not yet die for our sins, but He was teaching Nicodemus when he came to talk with Him, and this is the conversation that took place.

“Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim; for no one can do these signs that You do unless Elohim is with him.” Yehoshua answered Him and said to Him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Elohim.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Yehoshua answered,

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of Elohim. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” -Yochanan/John 3:2-6

I had to copy this whole passage because the many people I have spoken about the new birth who usually have great difficulty with the very words of Yehoshua. They think it is a new doctrine of some crazy church or religious group. I wanted to show the reader today that is is indeed reality. If a person is not born of the Spirit of Yehovah cannot enter the kingdom of Elohim.

Yehoshua continued to speak to Nicodemus giving the illustration of the wind. We cannot see the wind but we see its effect. You can discern a born again believer by the words they speak, and by their actions and love.

So then how does this take place? How is a person born again? I dare to say that when a person repents of their sin, and believe in Yehoshua, they qualify and they are born again. The Spirit of Elohim will come into that person and their whole way of thinking about Elohim and life will immediately change.

It is imperative that we repent for our sins and confess them to Yehovah. For we all have sinned.

“See, all beings (souls) are Mine, the being of the father as well as the being of the son is Mine. The being that is sinning shall die.”-Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.- Yochanan 1/1John 8-9

When a person repents recognizes that he has offended the only true Elohim who has given them life. They also now accept the fact that Yehoshua is indeed His only Son, who came to die for them. For the Bible teaches us the all have sinned and that soul dies.

Yehoshua also said in “I am, the way, the truth, and the life. On one comes t the Father except through Me.”- Yochanan/John 14:6

there are not many ways, as the new age religion teaches, which is a type of Hinduism, who believe in many gods. NO! There is only one Creator of Heaven and Earth! He is alive as Yehoshua is alive. He died for our sins, but rose on the third day, not the second. When He appeared to the disciples on the road to Emmaus, it was the third day! (See Luqas/Luke 24: 13-32; read again v. 21)

On our new birth experience, once we have repented of our sins, Yehoshua becomes our new life in us. His Spirit takes residence in our spirit, and we are born again. Once He lives in us we can come to the Father and have fellowship with Him. We have indeed become His children. Yes, Children, and we must live as His children.

-But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of Elohim, and if children, then heirs-heirs of Elohim and joint heirs with Mashiach, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” -Romiyim/Romans 8:9,14-17

Therefore, if anyone is in Mashiach, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. -Qorin’tiyim 2/2 Corinthians 5:17

The apostle Shaul/Paul is teaching about the new birth. This teaching is very, very important for the devil will come to the believer after salvation experience and bring back of his/her passed sins! He is a master in this. Therefore, we must remember that no matter what sins we have done before we believed and gave our lives back to our Creator, that Satan has no longer authority over our lives. And, once we also have received our Pentecost experience, which is the infilling of the Holy Spirit Power of Elohim, (See Ma’aseh/Acts 1:8), we have all authority against the devil, and he is is defeated. We no longer have to obey Satan and his demons by sinning. We have the authority to cast him out, (See Marqos/Mark 16:15-18).

Be alert and do not submit to the devil accusations. Remember when the woman caught in adultery was taken to Yehoshua to be stoned according to the Law, He told every accuser, to throw the first stone if was without sin.

“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

-Yochanan/John 8:7

No one could cast a stone.

He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Adonai.” And Yehoshua said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” -Yochanan/John 8:10-11

All had sinned. But to the woman He said to go and sin no more, because she had repented.

The command was, go and sin no more. And the same command is to all of us. Once we received our pardon we cannot continue to habitually sin. Repentance means to stop doing what we had been doing, go toward Yehovah, and stop serving the devil.

However, if we sin again, we immediately must repent, and receive forgiveness from our Heavenly Father, who loves us so immensely. We cannot realize how much Yehovah loves us, unless we have been forgiven much, like Mary Magdalene of whom were cast out seven devils! (See Luqas/Luke 8:2). She became the person whom Yehoshua appeared first of all! (See Yochanan/John 20:1,16-17). After He delivered her she became the most faithful woman on His team. She loved Him so much, because she had been forgiven much.

When we are born again, Yehovah has become our true Father. He is there with us teaching us how to live in His Kingdom. We learn to appreciate Him and love Him so much. No one can take us away from His loving and protecting hands. We learn to wait upon Him before we do anything in life. He loves to lead us by His Spirit He has placed inside of us. We are His, and He has full authority over our lives. Satan beware! He has been defeated in our lives. His power has been broken. We can withstand him and he knows it, and trembles. You and I have the authority over him, as long as we do not give in to his schemes. We must never again submit to him ever.

Things on these things today.

If you have never given your life to Yehovah, now is the time. Admit you have offended Him, because you have broken His Law. Then ask Him to forgive you. Receive His forgiveness, and He will come into your life. You will begin to obey Him, and He will be continually there for you helping you. The struggles of life will no longer affect you. Now you will be ready to die for Him, as Yehoshua has died for you, because of your love for Him. You will become a witness of His great love and grace. You will be a witness of the saving grace of Yehovah and Yehoshua in your life. You will share your own personal testimony to your family and friends. Be completely dedicated to Him, and He will never disappoint you. He loves you always with a passion, you are His for all eternity.

Please notice that I use the correct Hebrew biblical name of the Father, Yehovah, who is called ‘the LORD,’ in the bible by the translators.

And I use the correct name for our Sacrifice, Yehoshua, instead of calling Him Jesus, as it had become fashion, since the letter j became in use about 500 years ago!

Adonai is the Hebrew word for Lord. I do not like to use that word because all false gods are called lord.

Elohim is the Hebrew word of God. And for the same reason that I do not use lord, I do not like to use this title, for all false gods are also called gods.

I like to use the correct names in spite of the opposition that always comes against me. I hope you do the same. Shalom.

DISCERN THE TIMES

 This morning I was having a conversation with another minister, and we talked about the fact that indeed we are living on the Last Days.

Therefore I have decided to write something about this fact. During the time when Yehoshua lived in Israel, He was continually attacked by the religious leaders because He refused the abide to their traditions that He had not given them.

They had created a long list of many rules to add in order to not break the Torah. They added things Yehovah not instructed them to add.

In fact the word declares that we cannot add nor take away from His Word

(See Devarim/Deuteronomy.4:2).

Yehoshua, who gave the Torah would not bow to their man made rules which were keeping the people away from Him.

We do not reach Him by our own methods, but by His methods. In fact He looks at the heart to discern our spiritual condition.

Many will enter His kingdom by a simple declaration of faith, as the thief on the cross.

Let me write what did happened that day while Yehoshua was paying the price of our salvation by giving His life for you and me on the cross between two thieves.

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If you are the Mashiach, save Yourself and us.” But the other, answering, saying, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear Elohim, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong. Then he said, “Adonai, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Yehoshua said to Him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”Luqas/Luke 23:39-43

I want for you to notice that this man was a thief. He had lived a life cheating and robbing people, but some how he recognized that Yehoshua was indeed the expected Mashiach. He knew this Man, was not an ordinary man, but Yehovah in the flesh, and He was innocent.

He discerned the times and discerned the “Man.”

He did not have to do anything more except to simply believe and Yehoshua saw His motives. He knew His heart. He did not have to keep the man made rules to be saved.

He did not do it to escape going to Hell, he sincerely knew Yehoshua had a kingdom, and he wanted to be there with Him.

But the religious leaders were blinded by their self made traditions, and did not read the scriptures for what they were really saying. They added and taken away from it, and lost their way in the process! That was their sad situation! Listen to what they said to Yehoshua and what He answered them,

Then the Pharisees and Sadducces came, and testing Him asked that He would show then a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather

today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.-Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:3-4

Yehoshua came at the exact time He was supposed to come. Many believed in Him, but many religious leaders would not believe, and eventually handed Him over to be crucified. They did not realized that by doing that they actually helped Him to fulfill the sign of the prophet Yonah. And would be three days and three nights in the grave.

Sin will always blind us.

We must repent of our own sin, and read the Word of Yehovah with His understanding. Do as He says, and never be conformed to the ways of the world, which will indeed mislead any of us, and lead us to destruction.

Yehoshua came into this world to save us and bring us into relationship with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. He came once, and He is very soon is coming back again and all those who have believed in Him, will be united with Him for all eternity.

What are you doing with your life? Are you continuing to do you secret sin, and refuse to repent and be justified by His grace? He has paid the full price for your salvation, but if you refuse to receive Him and choose to consecrate your life to Him, you will never become part of His Kingdom.

His word said that you and I must be born again of the Ruach haQodesh, or Holy Spirit. You must be born from on high, or you will not be able to enter into His kingdom. Death is presently taking many lives. Will you take a chance and continue to be in sin and be lost for eternity?

No! That should not happened! Make up your mind now, and choose to serve Him and receive eternal life.

Today, simply confess Him as your King and Savior. All you need to do is to call upon Him, humble yourself and confess your faults to the Father in Heaven, Yehovah.

He will not cast you away, for He already knows all about you.

Stop sinning and ask Yehovah, with all your heart, to forgive you and He will. Do not hide anything from Him. Choose to serve Him alone. Get rid of any other god you may be worshiping now. Open your whole heart to Him in repentance as the thief on the cross, and He will hear you. He will save you from your sin and give you His Spirit to abide in you to lead you into all truth.

GETHSEMANE

Yehoshua soon after He taught the apostles that He would be gone and that they need to remember Him by eating the bread and drinking the wine, He led them to the Mount of Olives. It was there that He predicted Kepha (Peter) denial. Then He stopped at Gethsemane and He told His disciples, “Sit her while I go and pray over there.” Mattithyahu/Matthew 26:36

He took with Him Kepha and Yochanan/John and his brother Ya’aqov/James, and “He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.”

He then said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death. Stay here and watch with Me.” Mattithyahu 26:38

Yehoshua was now beginning to take upon Himself the weight of all the sins that were committed since the fall of Adam, present, and future. You can imagine Him feeling the weight of the millions and millions of babies that were and would be murdered in the womb? Can you imagine Him taking the weight of all the lies and deceptions we have committed, and all the corruption committed by the government that supposed to serve us, but instead has turned against us and oppress us, and all those who sold their own countries for money to their enemies? He carried the burden of all those of us who have negated His Sacred Name and given Him another name, or rather call Him by a simple title. Those of us who blasphemed His Great awesome name by our actions daily, and choose to continue to do so. Think about all the sins of pedophilia, and human trafficking, and continue to do so thinking they will escape the judgment of our Most Holy Elohim. Every stinking sin, He had to pay the price for it, instead of us sinners.

Yehoshua continued in His agony, and falling on His face prayed,

“O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Mattithyahu 26:39

Yehoshua continued in prayer, and He knew very well that there was no other way for the Redemption of human kind. The penalty of sin is death. Yehovah, the Father had decreed. (See Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4; Romiyim/Romans 3:23; 6:23) Man in is sinful state could not pay for his own sin. The Sacrifice had to be perfect. Man is corrupt, but Yehovah Himself would have to come and die for all human kind,

(See Bereshit/Genesis 15:9-20). The Covenant was sealed by Him passing between the dead animals. We cannot forget this.

Yehoshua, Elohim in the flesh, is sinless and came to fulfill the Covenant He did with Avraham. Yehoshua suffered on Gethsemane and continued to suffer on the Cross, until the price had been paid in full, and then He cried out, “It is finished!”Yochanan/John 19:30

Yehoshua paid the price to purchase His bride; us, you and me. What are you going to do?

In a few days is Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement. The Temple was destroyed in 70 AD. There is no High Priest to offer the sacrifice, and without shedding of blood there is no remission for the life of the flesh is in the blood, (See Wayyiqra/Leviticus 17:11;

Ivrim/ Hebrews 9:22). The blood has to be shed to be forgiven.

Prayers and good deeds have no value for our redemption. Yehoshua, the very Elohim in the flesh, came to fulfill the Covenant and gave His life for you and me. Now is the time to receive His sacrifice to sanctify your soul.

Repent of your sin and believe in the One who has died and rose again for you. Seek His face now. Yehoshua’s tomb is empty, you can go to Israel and never find His bones. He is alive, and He still has all His bones in His Resurrected Body. He is ALIVE!

Let us allow Yehovah to restore our blind sight and give us His Light in order for us to receive His gift of salvation. Yehoshua came in His Father’s Name, and He did what He was supposed to do. He died for you and me, in order to fulfill the Scriptures. Please read Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53 and the Psalms, and the whole Torah, and you find Him there. He is not hidden that we cannot find Him, in fact today if you whisper His lovely name, He may appear to you and let you know that indeed He is “THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.” Yochanan 14:6, “You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” Yochanan 8:32

Enjoy Yom Kippur this year, knowing personally your Sacrifice.

 

LOVE

Today I want to talk of love.

We read in the Renewed Covenant, or New Testament that Yehoshua had silenced the Sadducees, and then the Pharisees asked an important question. “Teacher, which is the great commandment I the Torah (Law)?” Yehoshua said to him, “You shall love Yehovah your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the Prophets”

Mattithyahu/Matthew 22:37-40

Yehoshua spoke His own written Commandments. He is the Word made flesh. (Yochanan/John 1:1)

Devarim/Deuteronomy 6:4-5 Hear O Israel: Yehovah our Elohim, Yehovah is one! You shall love Yehovah with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Wayyiqra/Leviticus 19:18 “You shall not take vengeance , nor bear any grudge against the children of our people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yehovah.

As believers and followers of Yehoshua HaMashiach we must love our Elohim with all our heart, soul and mind, and our neighbor as ourselves. We must obey His commandments.

We read in the gospel of Yochanan that He said to us: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Yochanan/John 14:15

When we were still in Mitsrayim/Egypt He spoke to Mosheh/Moses saying: “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” Shemot/Exodus 12:2

Today many keep a feast that Yehovah has not given us. It is a tradition that Israel picked up while in Babylon. We, as followers of Yehovah will not celebrate this feast unto Him, for it would dishonor Him. He has given us the instruction on when to celebrate the first day of the first month. We cannot celebrate two first months. One year is only 12 month, sometimes, biblically if the moon does not show up, we may have 13 month, as all of us know.

Messianic Jews and believers, please consider that today is not the first of the year, the first day of the seventh biblical month it may be tomorrow, when the moon will be seen. That day, or the first day of the seventh month, is called Yom Teruah, or the day of Shouting. The seventh month, is only the seventh month, not the first of the Year!

On this first day of the seventh month, we celebrate Yehovah with great joy. The Feast of Trumpets has not history. Because all the Feasts have a historical precedent, and some were already fulfilled in Mashiach, as the Spring Feasts, (Pesach/Passover, the Feast of First Fruits and the Feast of Pentecost). It is our hope that this Feast, Yom Teruah/ Day of Trumpets/ Day of Shouting, will be the day Yehoshua, our Mashiach will come back the second time to establish His Kingdom. Let us not be side tracked by men’s traditions, but obey Yehovah with all our hearts, and stop trying to please Him with our fleshly traditions.

Let us be walking in pure love, loving not the world, but loving and obeying Him alone.
