THE GIFT OF PROCREATION

 

Shalom my friends,

Today I want to mention the miracle gift of procreation Yehovah has given us at creation.

Imagine you as a little dust on the earth.

“And Yehovah Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

Genesis 2:7

Yehovah, together with His Son Yehoshua, (See below Yochanan/John 1:1-3) and  the Ruach HaQodesh, decided to create man after He created the whole universe. This was not an afterthought but was His plan from the beginning.

Why would He do this? We will find out soon.

Then Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

27 So Elohim created man in His own image; in the image of Elohim, He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Bereshit/Genesis 1:26-28

First of all, we notice the plurality of our Elohim, which is also plural but written with the single pronoun Us, and Our, which is an adjective. Then we read the name Elohim which is plural, but has singular verb, “And Elohim said.”

For you who may be a skeptic, know that Yehovah is a Being in three persons. Elohim is plural, yet is One Being. Yehoshua, His Son, was not created as Adam or as you and me, but was born by the Ruach HaQodesh, and existed from the beginning in Yehovah. He literally was in Yehovah our Father in Heaven. He only became Man at His birth in Bethlehem, Israel about 2000 years ago, to save us from our sins.  

The Holy Spirit is mentioned in the second verse of the narrative of Creation.

But let me write both verses first.

In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth. The earth was without from, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was hovering over the face of the waters.”

Bereshit/Genesis 1:1-2

We notice that the Name Yehovah Spirit is mentioned as One, or singular.  

Later we read in the Renewed Covenant/the New Testament the following:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. He was in the beginning with Elohim. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Yochanan/John 1:1-3

Once again, let us remember that Elohim is a plural noun, but it is written with a singular pronoun.

We have one Elohim, in three Persons. I thought it may be important to mention this truth today in case there is some problem with this fact in the readers’ mind.

And now let us read why this Singular but Plural Elohim has created man in His Own Image.

We saw in verse 28 above the word subdue, which means to bring into bondage, and to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

Contrary to some religions, those animals have not been created to be worshiped. We can kill them if they bother us, or we can eat them, if they are eatable.

In the following verse, or verse 29, we learn that Yehovah has also given us the diet..

Yehovah informs what animals we can eat. He created all animals and blessed them however, they are not all eatable. We can only eat clean animals.  (Wayyiqra/Leviticus 11).

Now let us go back to Bereshit/Genesis 1:28.

Then Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth….”

Man has been gifted with the miracle of being able to multiply. He can, with his wife, multiply. He can have children to love and receive love from them. He can have a family. He was not created to be alone. Yehovah gave a mate, whom He call Ishah, and later on Chava.

However, men want to control the world population so they can do what they want with to do. Less people are easier to control, they think.

 Sadly, they do not know that no matter how much they try, the world will continue to grow unless they will destroy it with weapons. And this is about to take place, but not completely. Yehovah will eventually destroy this earth and give us a new one (Chazon/Revelation 21).  

Abortion is a law contrary to Yehovah’s order. He is Master over this earth and everything He has created. He owns it. Man wants to control it because they are inspirited by the devil who tempted Chava in the Garden of Eden (Bereshit/Genesis 3). While Israel was in Egypt the king tried to have all the males killed, but still could not kill Moses, His own daughter adopted Him, and He saved Israel out of Egypt.

What I want to let you understand is that man tries to take control of something he has no power of it. We have power over the animals, but not over man.

After Yehovah destroyed the world with a flood, He told Noah the following:

Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of Elohim He made man. And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth and multiply in it.”

Bereshit/Genesis 9:6-7

Please notice that Yehovah commanded us not to kill man. If we do, we must die for it.

The reason we have so much crime is because we disobey him. Whoever is proved to be a murderer, must be killed for his crime. Yehovah also said again that we need to multiply. At that point only 8 persons were alive, and began to multiply.

A specific person is going to arise again, as in the past, and will try to kill everyone who will not worship him.

Beware, people, who you are you voting for it, for it could be that one man. If you are a believer of the Elohim of the Bible, remember that you carry a responsibility for this nation. Whoever you vote for it, he could be a dictator. He could be the antichrist, who is about to show up. You will be killed if you do not submit to his command to worship him and do what he commands you to do. You will die and all those whom he chooses to kill, in order to enlarge his kingdom.

However, he will eventually end up in the lake of fire.

(See Chazon/Revelation 19:19-21; 20:10). Yehovah is still in control of humanity, and anyone who tries to disregard Him as non-important, will be surprised.

Please read the Word and understand the times we are in. Be a person of prayer, and be not distracted with false prophecies. Listen to the voice of the Almighty Who is ready to speak with you if you seek Him with all your heart. You choose to know Him. He will not force Himself to you. Make the effort to spend time seeking Him and worshiping Him. He will make Himself known to you. Meanwhile, if you do not know Yehoshua, His only Ben/Son, today you can know Him.

Yehovah has sent Him, Yehoshua, into this world to save sinners such as you and me. Read Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53 and learn about Him. You may recognize that it speaks of Jesus the so-called Gentile God. But He is not a Gentile God, but He is the Hebrew Mashiach of Israel, the Suffering Servant who came into this world to save you from your sins. Read the New Testament and learn of His great love He has for you. He desires to part of your life. He is the Way to the Father Yehovah.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Yochanan/John 14:6

Call upon Him today and be saved!
