EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW

Today we begin talking about the Ben/Son of Yehovah, whose name is Yehoshua. I needed to mention first about bowing the knew. We read in the Scriptures in several places where people had to bow the knee.

Yosheph, the young son of Ya’aqov, who had been sold into Egypt. He ended in prison through false accusations, and when He interpreted the two dreams of Pharaoh, he promoted him to be second in command to himself.

You can read about this historical account in the Sever Bereshit/Genesis 39 -41.

Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Yosheph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put it around his neck. And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!”

Bereshit/Genesis 41:42-43

Yosheph is a type of our Mashiach. Please read the whole story about him in Sefer Bereshit/Genesis.

From this story alone we learn that the office or title of a person, especially kings and their second in command, were treated as God. We, children of Yehovah our Elohim do not bow the knew to anyone, except to Yehovah and to Yehoshua and the Ruach HaQodesh who is part of the One True Elohim.

We know of the plurality of the Elohim of the Universe. I will not get into this now. Today I want to speak of Yehoshua. The Scriptures declare that every knew will bow to the name of Yehoshua or Yeshua which is the contracted form of Yehoshua, and it means, Yehovah Saves. Please remember this fact for it is very important.

I want to mention another Person in the Scriptures to whom we must bow the knew.

“Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. They have no knowledge, who carry the wood of their carved image, and pray to a god that cannot save. Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, Yehovah? And there is no other Elohim besides Me, a just Elohim and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am Elohim, and there in no other. I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:21-23

The above verses speak of our Father, Creator, King of the Universe. He clearly declares there is no other Elohim besides Him. Idols are nothing. To worship is vanity for they are wood which cannot help anyone except to be used in building things and make a fire. Yehovah declares to be the only El in the world. He swear by Himself for there is no one Higher than Him. We take an oath in His name and bow the knee to Him.  As mentioned in my other messages, His name has to be spoken. We cannot change it into Adonai, or Hashem, or G’D or any other name. We must honor Him and call Him by the name He has graciously given us. The power is in the name, as it is also in the name of His Ben, Yehoshua.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Mashiach Yehoshua, who, being I the form of Elohim, did not consider it robbery to be equal with Elohim, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore Elohim also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Yehoshua every knew should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yehoshua HaMashiach is Adon, to the glory of Elohim the Father.

Pilippiyim/Philippians 2:5-11

We bow the knee in worship. They bow the knew to false gods as Baal.

“Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have no bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

Melakhim 1/1 Kings 19: 18; (See Romans 11:4)

They not only bowed by also kissed Him. And why should I not kiss my Savior? But I do!

Therefore, we see that we must bow in respect to our King. First Yehovah, our Father, and then Yehoshua His only Begotten, not made, Son.

Now let us see how the name Jesus came about it. The Bible was written in Hebrew and it worth talking about it. It was the Greeks who forbade to call Yehovah by His Name from 168-165 BCE. Antiochus Epiphanes came to Israel in order to make it his own conquered land. He tried for about three years. I spoke about this briefly. He forbade keeping the Sabbath, the circumcision, and the worship of Yehovah. He was a sun god worshiper and wanted all Israel to worship his god Zeus. He ha forced them to eat pork when he sacrificed a pig in the temple and forced the faithful servants of Yehovah to eat that unclean animal. Sadly, many did. There is much to this story. Eventually the Grecians were defeated, and Israel could have begun to speak the correct Name again.  But sadly, the command not to call on the Name Yehovah it must have remained in some people, for eventually they made a ban to stop speaking the name as it is written. Shortly after 70 CE His name Yehovah was stolen from the Jewish believers in Israel.  The enemy infiltrated the faith community and forbade speaking the correct Name.

And now we notice that that through the influence of the heathen people the name Yehoshua was also stolen.

The Greeks again made a mess. They translated the name Yehoshua or Yeshua, into Iesous, which was translated into Jesus in English. I do not want to argue about this, but names cannot be translated. They must sound the same and mean the same in every language using the local alphabet or write it exactly as in the original language. Jesus means nothing. It does not tell me that it is the name of the Ben/Son of Elohim and that He is the Savior of the world.

They could have easily translated into Joshua conserving the meaning of Yeshua, which means Lord saves. But I notice the anti-Christ spirit was operating in their lives. The name Jesus means nothing, but it supposed to mean that He would save us from our sins!

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Miryam, for you have found favor with Elohim. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Ben/Son. And call His name Yehoshua. He will be great, and will be called Ben/Son of the Most High. And Yehovah Elohim shall give Him the throne of His father Dawid.”

 Luqas/Luke 1:30-32

Yosheph had a problem when his betrothed wife, for they were engaged, told him the news. But Yehovah sent him an angel to explain the situation.

And Yosheph her husband, being righteous, and not wanting to make a show of her, had in mind to put her away secretly. But while he thought about this, see, a messenger of Yehovah appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Yosheph, son of Dawid, do not be afraid to take Miryam as your wife, for that which is in her was brought forth from the Ruach HaQodesh. And she shall give birth to a Ben, and you shall call His Name Yehoshua for He shall save His people from their sins.”

Mattithyahu/Matthew 1:19-21 HS

Hebrew names have meaning, as stated Yeshua speaks of salvation. Yehoshua means Yehovah Saves. Why in the world people do this? It seems they did it either to degrade our Savior, or because they had sin in their lives and Satan used them to steal the Glorious Sanctified Name from us. I want to believe they did it in ignorance and not on purpose. They were weak vessels that Satan used to keep us from the knowledge of the correct names of our Creator Yehovah and Yehoshua, one Elohim.

We must do the search ourselves and find out as much as we can of the false translations we find in the Scriptures, especially the New Testament.

Yehovah has a Son.

To be continued.

Note: Yehovah is translated erroneously as the LORD, which is only a title, not a name.

Yehoshua is given a different name all over the world except in Israel. In America is called Jesus.

Ruach HaQodesh is the Holy Spirit.

Adon is Lord in English.

Miryam is Mary in English
