THE SABBATH AND THE FEASTS OF YEHOVAH

I will end talking about the Sabbath on this one message. However, I had to speak of the extra Sabbaths than most Gentiles do not know about it. Actually, once a Gentile, or non believer in Yehovah, becomes born again, becomes part of Kingdom of Yehovah. If that person has repented of their sins, and now obeys the Commandments is no longer Gentiles.  (See Isaiah 56:1-8) That person has been joined to Yehovah and becomes part of the commonwealth of Israel.
Gentiles are called to keep the Sabbath and become partakers of Yehovah’s blessings.
Eph’siyim/Ephesians 2:11-12 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh-who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-12 that at  that  time you were without Messiah, being aliens from eh commonwealth of Israel and strangers from Covenants of promise, having no hope and without Elohim in the world. 13 But now in Messiah Yeshua you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah.
As stated earlier the Sabbath is not Jewish thing, but a Yehovah gift to all mankind. From the beginning He ordained to be kept.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 56:6 “Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yehovah, to serve Him, And to love the Name of Yehovah to be His servants-Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant- 7 even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt Offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer of all nations. 8 Adonai Yehovah, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him.”
I felt I needed to add this few verses of Scripture because many non-Jews have been taught they do not have to keep the Sabbath and the feasts. This is completely wrong. Anyone who comes into Covenant through the Mashiach/Messiah is accepted in the Kingdom of Yehovah through the shed blood of Yehoshua. Everyone is a child of Yehovah, and partakes of the blessings through Yehoshua.
The teaching of the seven laws supposedly Yehovah gave to Noach for the Gentiles is false. He never did that. This is pure imagination of some leader to keep Gentiles separate and out of the Kingdom of Yehovah. Yehovah never gave two distinct set of rules to inherit the Kingdom. The Sabbath was given the seventh day of Creation, and Adam was not Jewish. He is the father of all mankind. Stop teaching false doctrine, and or obey false doctrine. There is a position in Heaven for the Gentile who chooses to serve Yehovah, whose infinite love is so great that encompasses all His Children. And now let us continue speaking of the special Sabbaths.
He also has given us special Sabbaths. Three times a year all the males had to present themselves to Yehovah in Jerusalem.
Shemoth/Exodus 23:14 Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year. 15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Aviv, for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty; 16 and the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field;  and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered I the fruit of your labors from the field. 17 Three times in the; year all your males shall appear before Yehovah Elohim.”
Shemoth 34: 18 The Feast of Unleavened Bread you shall keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the appointed time of the month of Aviv, for in the month of Aviv you came out of Egypt.
22, 23 “And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering a the year’s end 23 Three times in the year all your men shall appear before Adonai, Yehovah Elohim of Israel.
These are the Feast that Yehovah commanded to be observed, and Israel could not abstain from going to Jerusalem. This is what apostle Paul was reminding to the believers as we read in the book of Hebrews. (See Hebrews 10:25).
Shemoth /Exodus 31:13 Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yehovah who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, or it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work  on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the ‘Sabbath or rest, holy to Yehovah. Whoever who does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.  16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 1t is a sign between M and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.”
Shemoth 19:5 “And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nations.”
Israel received the charge to teach all nations, and they have done it. The gentiles now know the Commandment and they also are obeying because they have entered into Covenant in the Messiah.
The number seven, in order not to forget the Sabbath, is also  or the seventh day rest, is also  applied to the land. Shemoth 23:10-12 “Six years you shall sow your land and gather in its produce, 11 but the seventh year  you hall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the beasts of the field may eat In like manner you shall do with your vineyard and your olive grove.  12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may rest, and he son of your female servant and the stranger may be refreshed.”
Please notice that they could go and eat, but not pick. That would have been work.
Do you know what I have learned by reading these few Scriptures? I have learned how much Yehovah cares for all of us. It is because of His goodness and kindness that He wants also the donkeys, the servants and strangers to rest on the seventh day. And He does not want to waste anything.  Therefore, he has planned to feed the poor who most likely have no reserve like the farmers. They got double harvest on the sixth year. It is not about Him been capricious, when he commands us to keep the Sabbath,  it is all about LOVE. He loves his Creation.
I need to still mention that Pentecost is 7 weeks after the Sabbath on Unleavened Bread Feast, and is kept the following day in order to complete the 7times 7. Wayyiqra 23:15-16 And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbaths, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be competed. 16 Count  fifty days
The Fall Feasts, or Sukkoth /Tabernacles, is celebrated on the Biblical Calendar on the seventh month, and kept for seven days. (See Leviticus 23:33-36)
35 On the first day it shall be a holy convocation, You shall do not customary work on it. For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yehovah.”
On Mount Sinai.
Shemoth 24:9 Then Mosheh/Moses went up, also A’aron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.
Do not forget the 70 sent out to preach by Yehoshua.
Luke 10:1 After these things the Master[i] appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
Judgment on Nebuchadnezzar
Daniel 4:16 “Let his heart be changed from that of a man, Let him be given the heart of a beast, and let seven times pass over him.”
Now Jerusalem
Daniel 9:2,” …It would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.”
Daniel 9: 24,25 “Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah to Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
Forgiveness has to be continuous.
MattithYahu/Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Him and said, ‘Master, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?  (knowing the power of the number seven in Yehovah’s ways.) 22 Yeshua said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
What Yehovah has commanded in the Tanakh, or what has been labeled as Old, is  always valid, for He does not change/.
Malachi 3:6-7 “For I am Yehovah, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, o sons of Jacob. 7 Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Mem and I will return to you, says Yehovah of Hosts.”
These words were spoken to Israel, but the church from the beginning it forming has rejected specific Commandments. The Sabbath, the Feasts, the Dietary Commandment. She still eats pig which is such an abomination and all their other forbidden foods. Such commandments were given to keep us healthy, but mankind refuses to obey therefore becomes sick, because  still eats foods that are not fit for consummation.
I hope you are now praying and seeking Yehovah about your life style. You may have to make some changes. Seek Him, and He will guide you into all truth by His Ruach/Spirit. Amen.

THE SABBATH DAY IS YEHOVAH'S DAY

THE SABBATH DAY
I will continue now to speak on the seventh day of the week. The Sabbath day that Yehovah has given us. I already have spoken about the fact that He blessed the seventh day, and sanctified. He did not bless any other day. He did not bless Sunday, which is the first day of the week, or the second day, or the third day. No, He blessed and reserved the special seventh day for us to rest.
Marqos/Mark 2:27 declares, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is Master of the Sabbath.”
Please note that He said that the Sabbath was made for MAN, not for any special race. The Jewish people were not yet born. The Sabbath began at Creation as a sign to all mankind. All men need to keep the Sabbath. Adam taught His descendants. Seth, Noach, Abraham, whom Yehovah declared righteous. If they did not obey Him they would not been declared righteous
Next,  He healed an invalid and commanded to take his bed (mat) and walk. “Rise, take up your bed and walk.’ And immediately the man was made well. Took up his bed, and walked.  Yochanan/John 5:8 Yeshua[i] Healed on the Sabbath again, and the Jews did not appreciate this. He answered them accordingly.
Yochanan/John 5:17-19 “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” 18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that Elohim was His Father, making Himself equal with Elohim. 19 Then Yeshua answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever the does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, ad shows Him all things that he Himself does; and he will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.”
Yehovah is the author of all healing, and Yeshua was doing what the Father was instructing Him to do. But the religious leaders did not receive him.
Yochanan/John 1:11 “He came to His own, and his own did not receive Him,”
We suppose to relax with family, and spend time with Him.   We must honor Him, for He deserves our love and time. He has given us life and is our Provider and Healer, and much more. He “has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.”(Kepha2, 2 Peter 1:3)
Without Him we are powerless. Our very breath is from Him, and He can remove it at will. He has created us and is keeping us well fed. Why should we disobey Him by not keeping the seventh day? Yet, so many people murmured when they removed the Commandments from public places. The commandments have not been kept since the sun god worshiping Emperor Constantine removed it from the believers 321 at Nicea. And that is not the only one that has been removed. I need to repeat myself on this subject, because many believers love to misinterpret the epistles of Paul saying things he did not say.
The problem was that the religious leaders had added so many rules on how to keep the Sabbath that made it impossible for anyone to do it correctly according to Yehovah’s Command. They did not possess a Bible as we do now. They relied on those who taught them. But today we have many Bibles and we have been given the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit), to teach us individually, and we can learn the truth by revelation.
Devarim/Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, not take from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yehovah.”
The accusers were actually sinning because they added so many rules that Yehovah had not given. In these Last Days there are still many religious leaders that follow the commandments of man, and they are living in sin, but they do not realize they are. Now is the time individually to repent and begin to obey Yehovah. At judgment day we will appear before Yehovah and give an account of our lives. It is so easy to obey His Commandments and be accepted by our Creator, rather than be rebuked!
Yehoshua was, and still is,  the Son of Yehovah[ii], and Elohim Himself, and could not profane the Sabbath or He would cease to be Elohim  and could not become our Atonement Sacrifice.  Yehoshua healed on the Sabbath, and went into the synagogue to preach and teach and to heal the sick on the Sabbath. These things are good things to do on the Sabbath. Yehoshua did nothing but what He saw the Father doing. He obeyed all the Commandments.
Yehoshua never sinned.
Qorin’tiyim 2/2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin for be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of Elohim in Him.
Shemoth /Exodus 34:21 “Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.”
We learn from Yehoshua that we can heal the sick, and help people in need even if it is the Sabbath.  We can eat, but we cannot cook for that involves time and work.   We cannot also cause anyone to work, or light a fire and cook.  We cannot be cleaning our house on the seventh day.  Do not light the fire because would involved work chopping wood. Buy and sell is forbidden.  Work is forbidden,
(See Shemoth 20:8)
He speaks of keeping the Sabbath in so many other passages, that it is impossible to miss it.
He has created this physical body to work six days, and rest one day a week, and that is the seventh day. Yes, the seventh day, not the first, second or third….! Yehovah has given us the Sabbath to commune with Him, at least one full day of 24 hours, every week. The Sabbath begins at sun down the sixth day (Friday), and ends on sundown on Saturday.
Until my next message
Shalom!

THE ASSEMBLING OF THE BELIEVERS

I was listening to a friend of mine who is very concerned that her family is not attending Sunday services. Every Christian had been taught that Sunday service is a commandment of Yehovah. However, this is not so. To give power to their concern they quote the following verse of Scriptures.
Ivrim/Hebrews 10:25 “And let us consider one another  in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the  assembling of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.”
The apostle Rav Shaul wrote this book long before the church began around the year 300AD. He was writing to Hebrew Torah believing people. The Sunday or Wednesday services did not exist. The believers followed the teachings of Yehoshua and went to the synagogue to learn Torah every Sabbath. Acts 15:21 “For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
Ma’aseh/Acts 15 is written in the ‘Bible because the Jews wanted to impose the Circumcision to the new believers, and the Paul and Barnabas went to discuss this situation with the elders in Jerusalem. It was decided that the circumcision did not save anyone, and they give them some immediate things they needed to observe; to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from thing strangled, and blood. Those things were what they did as gentiles, now they had to let go of doing the sins of the past, for now they expect them to go to the synagogue every Sabbath to learn torah, or the Commandments of Yehovah. If they wanted to do the circumcision they would do it, but not because they needed to do it to be saved, for we all are saved the grace of Yehoshua haMashiach.
The church has taken out the Sabbath which Yehovah has given us as a rest day.
Bereshith/Genesis 2:1-3 “Thus the Heaven and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day Elohim Ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then Elohim barakh (blessed) the seventh day and made it qodesh (holy), because in it He rested from all His work which Elohim had created and made.”
The Scriptures are very clear and specific. Adam was the first man created and he rested and kept the first Sabbath day. He continued to do so and taught all his descendents for we know that Abram also taught his sons. When they went into Egypt to get food, they were well treated because Joseph had become very powerful in Egypt. But after his death and the death of that Pharaoh, an evil person came into power, and he did not know their history. He made them slaves. Yu can read their story in the book of Bereshith/ After 430 years beginning in chapter 3 of Shemoth we read of Israel been mistreated in Egypt. But in Shemoth 12 we read the account of  the Passover and of the calendar Yehovah gave them. The month of the Passover is the month the barley also is usually aviv, which means it will be ready to harvest for the Feast of First Fruits which is during the Feast of Unleavened. You may want to read the whole chapter and also Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23 for more understanding.
Shemoth /Exodus 12:1-2 Now Yehovah spoke to Mosheh/Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.”
Then Yehovah continues to give instructions on the Passover  and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Shemoth 12:13 “Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off  from Israel.  16 On the first day shall be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat-that only may be prepared by you.”
I wrote this passage for the reader to see how much Yehovah cares for the seven day and the seventh day.  From the beginning He wanted all of us, to know about the Sabbath. The feast of unleavened bread and the Feast of Sukkoth, in the Seventh Biblical month, have both seven days celebration. Yehovah was not speaking to the blood descendants of Abraham alone at that time, but to a mixed congregation.
Shemoth 12: 37-38 Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand  men on foot, besides children. 38 A mixed multitude went up with them also, and flocks and herds-a great deal of livestock.
When Israel run out of food, they cry out to Moses, and Yehovah answered them and provided food to them.
Shemoth 16:4 -5, 22,26 Then Yehovah said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for y9u. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. 5 And it shall be on  the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. 22  And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. 23 Then he said to them, “This is what Yehovah  has said; Tomorrow is Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath rest to Yehovah.”
When they first had gotten the manna they went out on the Sabbath to gather some, but it bread worms and stank. (verse 20. But now when they kept the Sabbath day holy the manna they got on the sixth day did not bread worms.
26 Six days  you shall gather it , but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none.” He was helping them to obey Him. “And now let us read the Commandment on the Sabbath.
Shemoth 20:8-11 Remember Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days  you shall labor and do all your work, 10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah. In it  you shall not work; nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor our cattle, nor our stranger who is within  your gates. 11 For in six days Yehovah made the heaven and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore  Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
The Scriptures continue to remind us to Keep the Sabbath all over the first five books of the bible, and we read in the other books as well. I will continue on my next message, but for today I wanted to remind you to keep the “Sabbath, no matter what race you belong.
The Sabbath is for everyone who is serving Yehovah.  I will talk more about the apostle Paul and his life in my next message. The Feasts were the Time Israel was commanded to gather together, not Sundays.
Exodus 23:14 “Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread, (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days , as I commanded you , at the time appointed in eh month of Aviv, for in it you came out of Egypt. “
Mal’aki/Malachi 3:6 “For I am Yehovah, I do not change.”
Yehovah has not changed Him mind on anything. Man is the one who tries to discredit Yehovah’s Word by teaching He has changed His Commandment, or worse yet they say are god and can change His Word.
Shabbath shalom
