WIDOWS AND ORPHANS, 3

Aloha

Today I may finish this subject on Widows and Orphans with another type or kind of orphan.

Just as there are two types of widows: the true widow who has lost her husband, and the divorced woman who is considered as a widow she is called “Alman” in the Hebrew language instead of Amanah. As you notice they have the same root. The Alman is from the root 481 in the  Concordance, and we read the following,  “in the sense of bereavement; discarded (as a divorced person)”.

Yehovah loves the divorced women as much as the true widows. Most times the divorced women suffer more in society than the true widows, because of her wrong choices.

However, I need to mention other types of situations that affect women and children.

Today we talk about the orphan who does not know who his/her father is. He may be alive, but she does not know who he is, or she has been told a specific person is her father but is not.

When an unmarried woman has become promiscuous for either reason, and she conceives a child, that child, most times, does not know who the father is.

This will cause many problems, and primarily problems between this child and his mother. Secondly the child receives the last name of her mother, which is very humbling for the child, for it reveals to everyone that he is illegitimate.

Think about this situation. A single woman with a child in a foreign country is a foreigner or a stranger. In the US we have foreigners who come and stay, and they get into various situations. That mother has no family in around her. She has no one who can help her in times of crises.

What would this mother do? She would place her child in an orphanage or anywhere such children are welcome, so that she can earn a living, but the child lacks the family love and affection. A child grows up without parents. He not only is deprived of a father, but also of the mother.

Often such children are also abused, and they cannot speak up, or they may be told to leave.

Do you suppose Yehovah reject such children? No, He loves such children who are starving for love as much as the orphans who have lost their natural father. Therefore, we need to love those children for Yehovah and bring them close to our family. They need to experience true love and affection.

Tomorrow is Passover, let us seek Yehovah in prayer and ask Him to lead us find such children or adults who have no father. Let us share our blessing with such children or adults and fill their hearts with hope. Hope for this life and for eternity. Teach them the gospel if they are not yet in the Kingdom of Yehovah. Yehovah will indeed bless indeed and gave you favor in everything you do.

I include children, or even adults who are, or have been abused. He may have a father and lives in the same home, but the father does not love the sons and daughter and abuses them. Let us love them as our neighbors and share the perfect love of the Father in Heaven, who never leaves us nor forsakes us.

And now I want to mention women who may have been abused, but they had gotten pregnant and have given birth to children.

Usually such person file for child support. The social services give them all the support they need, except faith in Yehovah and Yehoshua.

Such women receive money from welfare. They may not be sure who the father really was, but she has filed for child support, and the presumptive father has run away without doing the DNA. However, they will find him, and he will have to pay what the woman wants.

Such women are very happy, and they may be getting 700 or 800 dollars a month or more for each child support and for medical insurance.

They may continue to get pregnant and has more children. They will get more child support. Finally, they may get married, and one of her children is already almost three or four years old. They will convince their new husband to give his name to her children while she is collecting child support from the presumptive father!

If they do that clearly the motive is money. They are breaking the Rules of the Kingdom of Yehovah, and possibly the law of the land.

Then, if their new husband dies, the children receive social security from this dead man, but they continue to receive the child support from the presumptive father. This is sin and it is illegal.

At this point the children are confused. They were taught that this man who is paying child support is their father, but they cannot receive his name because they have received the name of this man who now is dead.

The woman is very greedy for money at the expense of others. The presumptive father who is paying child support now requires the DNA test. But the mother refuses.

Such women may know in their heart that this man they claimed to be the father is not the real father, and they fear. They know they would have to return many thousands of dollars of child support they have received. They may go to prison.

Such women are in big trouble, and they know it. Now what would you do to such woman?

It is obvious that such women are not a true Christians. They may say they loves Yehovah, but Yehoshua said,

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

Yochanan/Johan 14:15

Such women are abusing men. They have never loved the man they claim to be the father of their children. They lack love for Yehovah also, for they are not speaking truth. They choose to keeping things going; however the man can never give his name to the child he is paying such high child support. This is evil.

I would pray for such women to receive counseling and to have the courage to do what is right for themselves and the children. I still would love her, for Yehovah and Yehoshua said to love your neighbor as yourself. No matter how evil they may be, we are commanded to love and help them if we can.

Such children will suffer spiritually and mentally as result of this situation. Yet both mother and children are dear to our Father in Heaven.

Love is the key. For anyone who lives close by to such families need to have great wisdom and great love from our Father in Heaven. They also into sin, and have become completely blinded by it.

The presumptive father is the one who losing out. He is paying for someone’s child, and most times gets into debt. He has to pay or else he may end up in prison.

He gets worried and feels helpless. He may end up drinking or doing drugs in despair.

But such children are also orphans for they are not nourished from the love of their earthly father.

Yehovah loves them all.

Leave your fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let your widows trust in Me.

Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 49:11

All those widows and children mentioned would be provided by Yehovah if they would trust Him, instead of cheating and trying to solve their own issues. Yehovah always provides for them, when they obey Him and trust Him with all their hearts.

You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow’s garment as a pledge. But you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and Yehovah your Elohim redeemed you from there; therefore I command you to do this thing.

When you reap the harvest in your field, and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that Yehovah your Elohim may bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat the olive threes, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I command you to do this thing.

Devarim/Deuteronomy 24:21

If you are not a Hebrew now you will say: “You see this law is not for me. It is only for Jews.” Let me ask you something. Were you born redeemed? No! You owe your salvation to Him. Just as Israel were slaves to the devils of Mitsrayim (Egypt), you and I were slaves to the demons in our own nation. His Word applies to all mankind.

Besides this, if you are a believer in Yehoshua, you have been grafted to the tree. You are no different than all Hebrew. You have the same obligations and receive the same blessings when you obey. I hope this helps you.

Yehovah is very generous with all of us.

Some of you reading this message today may have lands and desire to help the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. If you would sell a portion of your land and give the total or a partial amount to the stranger around your place, especially when they are all alone. And you would give a portion to the fatherless, and the widow, Yehovah would abundantly bless you. This what the disciples did after Yehoshua rose again and went back to His Father in Heaven.

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one sol; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his on, but they had all things in common.

Ma’aseh/Acts 4:32

Have you ever considered that we are stewards of the blessings that Yehovah gives us? Everything we have, He has given us. Even the breath we take is a gift from Him.

“How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of Elohim.”

Marqos/Mark 10:23

When the apostles heard this saying they were astonished. And Yehoshua again spoke saying:

“Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of Elohim! It is easier to a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Elohim.”

And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves “Wo then can be saved?”

But Yehoshua looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with Elohim for with Elohim all things are possible.”

29 So Yehoshua answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there  is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions-and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Marqos/Mark 12:24-27,29-31

Yehoshua has settled the issue. I live you with this thought. Be blessed as you consider what to do.
