OUR CREATOR'S NAME -PART 3

I have already mentioned that there was a ban on the Name of Yehovah. They chose to call Him by a title instead of pronouncing His most revered name, Yehovah, the name of the living Elohim

Let us read this next verse of Scripture together now.

“You shall not take the name of the LORD in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”

Shemot/Exodus 20:7 (NKJV)

Do you see anything wrong in the above verse?”

Let us read it in another version now.

“You shall not swear falsely by the name of Hashem your God; for Hashem will not clear one who swear falsely by His name.”

Shemot/Exodus 20:7 (The Israel Bible)

One more version

“You shall not bring the Name of Yehovah your Elohim to naught, for Yehovah does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.”

Shemot/Exodus 20:7 (HS)

The New King James Version calls Him, as they habitually have done, by a common title, the LORD in capital letters to let the reader know they are hiding the correct name, but they to not let the reader know the correct name of our Creator.

They have done this mischief everywhere.

Listen to this one,

You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another. And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of God: I am the LORD.

Wayyiqra/Leviticus 19:11-12

I want you to know that this issue is upsetting to me a lot. I was reading the Bible for 42 years and did not know the correct name of my Creator, and you may be learning it now too.  It is a sin to hide the most Powerful Name of the Universe with a title that is given to every gentleman in England, and to every false god!

It is absolutely degrading Yehovah and understand that those guys who followed the lie and tradition or others will be judged for this.  They better repent, change and begin to write what the original Hebrew Scriptures say!

“You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yehovah (not the LORD) your Elohim (God in English) which I command you.”

Devarim/Deuteronomy 4:2

“Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.”

Devarim/Deuteronomy 12:32

What is it that the translators do not understand this verse? I have nothing to lose, I expose this wicked lie, and pray the translators will repent.

Yehovah is not sleeping!  Yehovah has given us His name, and men hide it from us, His children. We never knew the name of our Father in Heaven for so many years, but now it is revealed again! To hide His Name is a horrible sin against Him, Yehovah, who has given us His name to speak it. We are His children, those of us who are born again, and it is our privilege given to us to know and to speak His name.

The Hebrew Bible explains the meaning of the word in vain, which is shav in Hebrew, and says the correct meaning, which is not to swear falsely. But they, those who say they love Him, still do not say the name out of fear. And although the Hebrew Scriptures say “Yehovah,” not “Hashem-the Name” or Adonai -Lord, they continue the tradition of the fearful.

I pray this blindness will dissolve soon, and their eyes will be open to the truth. I pray they will desire to obey Yehovah, and not man’s rules. I am so sorry that this lie is still going on. This is a huge lie that began slowly for fear of being killed if they used the name.

Soon the anti-Christ will do the same thing and will require worship. Are you Christians, or better said, Messianic believers, going to deny your Creator and submit to the devil?

This makes me very sad! I wish we, as strong followers of Mashiach/Messiah, will be faithful to your Creator and Yehoshua who died for our sins, and choose only to obey Him, even at the cost of losing our lives, which it will happen.

If we cannot be faithful now in times of relative freedom, what  will we do when the fire comes near us?

Talking about fire, what did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego do when they were told to worship the golden idol? They refused to obey the King knowing they would lose their lives and ended up in the fiery furnace that had been heat seven times more than normal. What happened? Those who bound them and threw them into furnace were killed immediately by the heat, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were walking inside the furnace with the Son of Elohim, Yehoshua Himself unharmed!

The fire did not touch them, and not even the smell of smoke was on their clothes which did not burn. You can read this story in the book of Daniel third chapter from verse 8 to 30.

The result of the battle was that the king now believed in their Elohim and promoted them.

Their faith did not waver. They did not worry about their earthly life because they knew their Elohim. To live of to die it does not matter, but we must not betray our Creator because of fear of death.

Now let me make another example.

Can you imagine if you are a Dr. and I call you Dr. Hashem, which means “The name” in Hebrew? Would your clients find you? Oh, but you may want to follow the traditions….sure, you follow tradition denying your own name, and  these traditions will make you bankrupt!

The third translation says it correctly using the correct name Yehovah, and it says that we cannot bring to naught, but it is not correct.

There is much more to say about this issue, but I cannot  say all that is to say on this little message. For instance saying Hashem (The name) actually began a long time ago.

Not let us see how this banning the name of Yehovah began. It was around 700 BCE when the Samaritans they knew the name Yehovah, but they also worshiped their other god Ashima (Malakim 2/2Kings 17:29-30, 33).

They knew the correct name of the Creator, but worshiped the false god Ashima. Today the Samaritans call Yehovah Shema which means name in Aramaic, and the Jews now also call Him name, by saying Hashem (the name).

This world is upside down, for sure! May Yehovah be merciful to us all.

We also know that when the Greeks came in 168 to 165 BCE many Jews submitted to the Greeks and stopped using the correct name Yehovah. The Greeks wanted to change the faith so they could govern them better. This was an evil thing.

But a family called the Hasmoneans took courage and defeated the Greeks and re-establish the Worship after cleansing the Temple. They did it, but why in the world now we are facing the same problem? Satan is working overtime.

Now let us go back to the meaning of in vain mentioned in Shemot 20:7

The word in vain which is shav in Hebrew has 12 different meanings, which are:

Deceit, deceitful, deception, emptiness, empty, false, falsehood, lies, vain, vanity, visions, and worthless.

Most people think on this word vain to mean without good reason. They use this to convince people not to use the name.

Let me give you a few verses to see how vain is used in the Scriptures.

In vain {shav} I have struck your sons, they accepted no chastening.

Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 2:30

But when you use it in the concept of speaking it has another meaning, as in Shemot/Exodus 7.

Whose mouth speak deceit {shav}, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood {shaker}.

Tehillim/Psalm 144:8

Some translations instead of deceit say -lying words- but the last word falsehood, is shaker. They are all saying the same thing in vain, but in different setting using a different word.

Let us read another verse now.

Whose mouth speaks deceit {shav] and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood {shaker}.

Tehillim/Psalm 144:11

None of the Scriptures prohibits to speak the name. In vain does not mean to not speak the name. Shav and shaker are used to mean the same thing, but in different settings.

I want you to know that I am saying is not my own findings. I have learned this from someone who has done a great deal of searching the Scriptures. However, I check the Word in my own Bibles, to make sure it is so.

I will continue speaking on this issue on my next message.

Whatever, you are doing today, remember that to speak His name is to honor Him and to receive the blessings He promises to those who call upon His name Yehovah!

“In every place I cause My Name to be mentioned I shall come to you and barakh (bless) you.”

Shemot/Exodus 20:24

The Hebrew word is not remembered as some people have translate it, but mentioned, or spoken. It does not help you when the devil comes to you, and you think in your heart “Go away!” He will not move. You must speak the word to be effective!

Have a blessed week loving and obeying Him, who gives you life. Amen.
