SHABBATH-THE BLESSED SET APART DAY

(Part 3)
Today I am continuing to speak on the Blessed Set Apart Day. I want to make a comment on the fact that Yehoshua[i] made a “whip of cords” to drive out the merchants, (Mattithyahu/Matthew 21:12-13).  We may have the idea that Yehoshua was very meek and a servant as described in “ He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrow and acquainted with grief.  And we hid , as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
“He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet  open not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.”  Yeshayahu/ Isaiah 53:3,7
Yes, He came to be the Lamb of our Sacrifice. When He was sent to prison and judged and crucified, He would not oppose them for He came into this world for this purpose. He came to take our place on the cross instead of us going there and die for our sin, since the penalty for sin is death. (See Romiyim/Romans 3:23; Yochanan/John 1:29)
But He demonstrates that He is Elohim and that He is coming back as the King who will take vengeance of all His enemies, according to the Scriptures. He will return to this earth as the conquering King, and will rule with the rod of iron.
Mizmowr/Psalm 2:9 “You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
Chazon/Revelation 19:11-16 “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of Elohim. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine lines, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Elohim. And he has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.”
(LORD OF LORDS in the NKJV)
That day was what we call Palm Sunday, or the day that the Lamb was chosen for the Sacrifice on the Passover. The people chose the lamb and took it to their home for four days to inspect it, to make sure it was unblemished. Yeshua went to His Father’s House. And four days later He was sacrificed and our Sacrificial Lamb!
But that day when He entered His Father’s House, He found those thieves, desecrating the Temple. We need to understand that in the days of Messiah in the Temple, was the Court of the Gentiles. They sold the sacrifices at excessive prices. Because many pilgrims traveled a great distance and could not bring their slaughter offerings, they would buy them there. But they sold the animals that had been rejected, for good perfect animals usable for the sacrifices.  Yehoshua knew that and threw them out. He revealed the fullness of Who He is and what He is going to do on His second coming, which is going to be very soon.
Question: I wonder if He would enter our churches today what He would find?
He is zealous for His House.
Mizmowr/Psalms 69:9 “Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, and the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.”
Let us remember that Gentiles were considered unclean and were restricted in their worship of Yehovah.  Religion is what segregate people one from another. But if we simply would obey the commandments, which instruct to love our neighbor as ourselves, then there, would be no division. However, it seems that it is much easier to keep people away who do not think or act as we do, than to try to teach them.
Even in these days, the descendants of the Pharisees, the Rabbinic Jews, are very protective and do not want anyone else to worship there.  Just recently a good Jewish friend of mine went to Yisra’el and to the Wailing Wall.  She was praying there with other friends from America, and one Orthodox Jew spat on her face.  She was so sad. This attitude is not biblical and is not found in the Torah. The wall is creating a division between believers, instead of uniting. However, the believers, who do not belong to the Rabbinic Judaism, but desire to worship Yehovah, are finding other places.  They are going up to the Mount of the Bais HaMikdash in an effort to as close as possible to where the House of Yehovah was once located.
Someone mentioned the following prophecy in regards to this situation.
“Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty Elohim of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel.” Bereshith/Genesis 49:22-24
There is still a wall between the natural descendants of the Twelve Tribes of Israel and Gentile Converts. Some Messianic Congregations which allow Gentile Converts they have to prove to be descendants of one of the Twelve Tribes.  And they also will not want to begin a Congregation unless they have ten members.
This wall will be broken down when Messiah will return to this Earth.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 56:1-7 “Thus says Yehovah ‘Keep justice, for My Salvation is about to come  and My righteousness to be revealed.”
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps from defiling the Shabbat, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
Do not let the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to Yehovah speak saying, “Yehovah has utterly separated me from His people”; nor let the eunuch say, “Here I am, a dry tree.”
For thus says Yehovah: “To the eunuchs who keep My Shabbats, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fasts My covenant,
even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.
Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yehovah, to serve Him, and to love the name of Yehovah, to be His servants-everyone who keeps from defiling the Shabbat, and holds fast My covenant-
even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
His promises, which include the Shabbat, apply to all people who choose to serve Yehovah. There are not two sets of children of Elohim, or two Brides,  but only one.
While many, Jewish and even non Jewish believers in Messiah, think that the Shabbat is a Jewish thing, the above Scriptures reveal the contrary.
Let us stop segregating ourselves and begin to unite under the same Elohim, Yehovah, the Creator and King of the Universe. We are one in Him, let us begin to love our believer brother and sister, and keep the Torah as He has commanded us. Amen.
Shalom!
Yo’el (Joel) 2:32 “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of Yehovah shall be delivered.  For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape as Yehovah has said, and among the remnant whom Yehovah calls.”
Call upon Him now and be saved from your sin and receive eternal life.
Yehovah is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those whose spirit is crushed.”
(Mizmowr 34:18)
Shalom,
“Ye-varekhekha Yehovah  veyishmerekha
Ya’er Yehovah panav ‘eleykha vichunnekha
Yisa Yehovah panav ‘eleykha  veyasem lekha shalom.”  Bemidbar 6:24-26
 “Yehovah bless you and keep you;
Yehovah make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
Bemidbar (Numbers)  6:24-26-27
His Name is very important, and we cannot substitute His Most Holy Righteous and Powerful Name. Let us call upon His Name and be saved!
