OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

I am considering the reason why many people do not get healed.
One of the reasons is they do not address the Father in prayer. He declares Himself to be Yehovah[i], your Elohim[ii] who brought us out of the land of Egypt.
Shemoth[iii]3:16b “Yehovah Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, of Yitzchak[iv], and of Ya’aqov, [v]appeared to me, saying, “I have indeed visited you and seen what is done to you in Mitsrayim[vi].”
Shemot 20:2 “I am Yehovah your Elohim your Elohim, who brought you out of the house of bondage.”
He spoke the Word in Hebrew therefore He said it this way:
Anochi Yehovah Eloheka  (I am Yehovah your Elohim). Shemot 20:2
You may say to me that you were not in the house of bondage, which in this case was Mitsrayim. That may be true, or your may be a Hebrew and your ancestors did go to Mitsrayim. However, each of us, unless has been Redeemed, is in the house of bondage. Sin makes everyone a slave.
Now I want talk about the problem in most churches. When they worship they always sing to His Ben/Son instead of addressing the worship to our Father in Heaven.
They may sing the prayer “Our Father in Heaven,” but they do not speak to Him.
Yehoshua[vii] had answered his disciples when asked Him how to pray. He answered them to pray this way:
“Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And do not lead us into the way of a test, but deliver us from all evil.”
Yehovah loves us.
Yochanan[viii] 1- 4:16 “And we have known and believed the love that  Elohim has for us. Elohim  is love, and he who abides in love abides in Elohim, and Elohim in Him.”
Yochanan 3:16 “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
We receive everything from the Father
Ya’aqov/James 1:17 Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation, nor shadow of turning.”
Tellim/Psalm 68:19 Blessed be Yehovah, who daily loads us with benefits, the Elohim of our salvation.
Yehoshua had answered the question of the apostles, and ours, but why do we not pray to the Father? He is the Head, and Yehoshua told us to pray in His Name to the Father.
Yehovah is revealed to us in many ways, and is called with various titles or appellatives.
Yehovah Avinu (Yehovah our Father) Yeshayahu/Isaiah 64:8
Yehovah Chizki (Yehovah my Strength) Tehillim/Psalms 18:1
Yehovah Ro’i (Yehovah My Shepherd) Tehillim 23:1
Yehovah Ori Veyishi (Yehovah my Light and my Salvation) Tehillim 27:1
“Ani Yehovah Hu Shemi,  uchevodi’ le acher lo etten.” (I am Yehovah, that is My Name, and my glory I will not give to another.” Yeshayahu 42:8
I cannot write the many more descriptions of His Wonderful Name, but I wrote just a few to get the idea of who our Father really is.
Please also note that He has given us His Name. He wants us to know Him by Name, not by a simple title, as “the Lord.” It  does not matter if it is written in capital letters or not. Lord is a title given to men and false gods.  He has a Name for us to call upon Him. His Name appears in the Hebrew Scriptures almost 7000 times! He is serious. He wants us to call upon Him and also to give Him all the glory.  We are supposed to even swear by His Name.
And you shall swear, “As Yehovah lives” in truth in judgment, and in righteousness.” Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 4:2
He wants us to swear by His Name who is life. He gets very upset when we swear not in truth, because His Name is mentioned. But this is another message. He wants us to call upon Him for everything.
Yehovah loves us, and He is all powerful and capable to answer our prayers. Then why do we not ask Him to help us? Why go to the Son, when He has said, to go to the Father?
Yochanan/John 16:23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask  the Father  in My Name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
We must not forget that Yeshua[ix] is One with the Father. But the Father is greater.
Qorin’tiyim 1-11:3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Mashiach[x], the head of woman is man, (her husband or father if unmarried), and he head of Mashiach is Elohim (Yehovah).
/This is the Spiritual Order in Heaven and on Earth.
Yochanan 14:13,14 “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
Yochanan 5:19 “Most assuredly I say to you,  The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever he does, the Son also does in like manner.”
Yochanan 8:28 “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. 29 And he who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not  left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”
Yochanan 14:9”I have been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father;”
Yochanan 10:30 I am My Father are one.
However there is an order, which is not followed, not even in the home. The woman wants to be boss but the husband is the authority figure according to the Scriptures. Yehovah has an order, and He expects us to obey it.
If we do what we please instead of learning and doing things His ways, we cannot achieve much in His Kingdom. Let us submit to Him, and receive answers to our prayers.
I will discuss sin in another message, for now I pray you will consider this message and obey Him.
Yehovah Lives! Shalom.
