IS YEHOVAH ALMIGHTY? IS HE SOVEREIGN?

When Avram[i] was ninety-nine years old, Yehovah appeared to Avram and said to him, “I am El Shaddai[ii]. Walk in My ways and be blames.”Bereshit/Genesis 17:1

May El Shaddai bless you, and make you fertile and numerous, so that you become an assembly of people. Bereshit 28:3
And now talking about Yehoshua who is the only Ben of Yehovah we read the following,
“I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Tav’, the Beginning and the End, “ says Yehovah “who is and who was and who is to come, El Shaddai.”Chazon/Revelation 1:8
“Qodesh, qodesh, qodesh, Yehovah El Shaddai, who was, and who is , and who is coming!”'Chazon 4:8
If you, beloved reader, will continue to read the Scriptures will find many more verses declaring  that Yehovah is Almighty!
Today I want to confirm to you that Yehovah is indeed Almighty and so is His only Ben/Son Yehoshua.
In the book of Yochanan/John 1-15, we read the account of Yehovah healing one sick man by the pool called in Hebrew, Beyth Zatha[iii].
Verse 16  we read that the Yahudim[iv] wanted to kill Him because He was doing these things on the Shabbat.[v]
But Yehoshua answered them, “My Father works until now, and I work.”
18 Because of this, then, the Yahudim were seeking all the more to kill Him, ‘because not only was He breading the Shabbath, but He also called Elohim His own Father, making Himself equal with Elohim.’
19 Therefore Yehoshua responded and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Ben is able to do naught by Himself, but only that which He sees the Father doing, because whatever He does, the Ben also does likewise.
20 “For the Father loves the Ben, and shows Him all that He Himself does. And greater works than these He is going to show Him, in order that you marvel.’ Yochanan 5:17-20
Yehoshua said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Avraham came to be, I am.” Yochanan 8:58

Yehoshua existed before Yehovah created mankind, He was there at Creation with the Father and the Ruach haQodesh[vi]
In the beginning Elohim created the shamayim and the earth.
2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Ruach of Elohim was moving on the face of the water. 3
3 And Elohim said, “Let come to be, “ and light came to be. Bereshit/Genesis 1:1-3
The Light  is the Word, and Yehoshua is the Word of  Yehovah,
Barukh[vii] is the man who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors.
35 For whoever finds me shall find chai/Life. Mishley/Proverbs 8:34-35
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and Word was Elohim. Yochanan 1:1
“While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world. Yochanan 9:5
We cannot argue the fact that Yehoshua is indeed Elohim, and because there is only one Elohim according the Word, Who is He?
T’oma, one of the apostles, had a problem understanding the identity of Yehoshua. Tomas did not understand what Yehoshua was trying to tell them.
Yehoshua said to him, “I am the way, the Truth, and the Chai/life. No one comes to the Father except through Me, you would have known My Father too. From now on you know Him, and have seen.”
8 Philippos said to Him, “Adonai, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”
9 Yehoshua said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you have not known me, Philippos? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how do you say, ‘Show us the Father?” Yochanan 14:6-9
Indeed there is only One Elohim!
”Hear o Yisrael, Yehovah your Elohim, Yehovah is one. Devarim 6:4
And now I ask you one question. Is Elohim all powerful? Is He Almighty? Did He create the world, including you and me? Did He give you and me authority over the birds, the animals and the earth?
So Elohim created man in His own image; in the image of Elohim He created him; male and female He created them.
28 Then Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea , over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Bereshit 1:27
Yehovah is Almighty and Sovereign.
I have a question for those who say that Yehovah is no longer in control of our lives. I guess they feel He lost His power.  But did He? Really? When did He lost control? Let us read the following verses together, please.
But our Elohim in Heaven; He does whatever He pleases. Tehillim/Psalm 115:3
“Remember the former of long ago, for I am El, (God), and there is no one else-Elohim, and there is no one like Me. 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not been done, saying, ‘My counsel stands, and all My delight I do,’ 11 calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes My counsel, from a distant land. Indeed I have spoken it, I also bring it to pass. I have planned it, I also do it.” Yeshayahu/Isaiah 46:9-11
For Yehovah of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back? Yeshayahu/Isaiah 14:27
When  did He give man power over death? Can man kill a flea, or a dog, by just saying, “Die now.”? Did He say to you that you can choose when to die?  Surely you can kill a dog with an instrument, and you can do the same to yourself, but you have not been given the authority to say to Yehovah, no, I do not want to die now. I have the right to choose when I die. Who are you man? are you equal to Yehovah? Yehoshua could do that on the cross once He  fulfilled the plan of Yehovah for His life. He gave His life to redeem us from the powers of darkness. He destroyed the power of Satan forever. At that point He could let go of this life.
And Yehoshua cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit. Mattithyahu/Matthew 27:50
In another Scripture He declared that He had received the power to lay down His life and to take it up again.
…”because I lay down My chai, in order to receive it again. 18  “No own takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again.  This command I have received from My Father.” Yochanan/John 10: 17
I am sorry for those who teach that we are equal to Yehoshua. We are not Elohim, and we did not die for the lost. Yehovah alone has power over life and death. We, His created people, do not have that power.
You and I are created lower than Elohim.
What is man that you remember him? And the son of man that You visit him? 5 Yet You have made him a little less than Elohim. Tehillim 8: 4-5
That little less is a lot to us. We cannot create by the power of our word, and we cannot take life by the power of our words.
Witches do use extra power and that power is demonic.
But a believer in Yehovah and Yehoshua cannot use the power of the devil to create or to take away life. Choose who you today who you want to serve.
I wrote this little message today because I have been very disturbed by a “pastor” who states that we die at our own will, and that Yehovah is not Almighty or Sovereign. She said He is not in control over everything.  We can choose when to die. I rebuke this and declare it to be false doctrine.
Yehovah is El Shaddai, He is Sovereign, and we are not. Be content to be able to receive eternal life when you repent of your sins. Be content to become his child, but to do not dethrone Him from being Elohim! Do not make yourself god.
Shalom!

TAKE UP THE CROSS AND FOLLOW ME

Then Yeshua[i] said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up the cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:24-25
Yehoshua is the complete Hebrew Name of the One Man called Jesus. He is also called Yeshua. His name declares to us who He is. Yehoshua means “Yehovah[ii] Saves.” For some strange reason His name was changed into Jesus by the translators or religious leaders who invented a specific religion. The name “Jesus” does not have any meaning at all; therefore it is not His Name.
Some people even suggest that the name Jesus derives from some sun god name. For this reason I chose to call my Savior with His original Hebrew name, because He was born to the Jewish Covenant Chosen People.
I will also call His Father, Yehovah, with His original Hebrew Name. I hope you will also learn to call your Creator with His Name. I believe that it will help your relationship with Him, as it has helped me.
You know, our earthly life, it is all about having a relationship with our Creator. Yehoshua came to reveal the Father to us, and to teach of His ways, and to be “The Way” to Him.
Yehoshua said it this way, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Yochanan/John 14:6
Each of us must be fully convinced that Yehoshua is indeed the only way to the Father Yehovah. The reason for that is that He is the only Ben/Son of Yehovah. Yehoshua was born of a woman, a young made, or virgin. Her name as you may know is Miryam[iii] (Mattithyahu/Matthew 1:18-23; Luqas/Luke 1:26-38). Let us also read the following prophetic verses,
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the; government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty Elohim[iv] everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be not end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of Yehovah there will be no end.” Yeshayahu/Isaiah 9:6-7.
I needed to write these verses in order for, you the reader, to know that we are speaking of the some Person. Yehoshua is the Son of Yehovah. He will rule this world and all nations will be subdued by Him.
“I will declare a decree; Yehovah has said to me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”Tehillim/Psalm 2:7-9
The next three verses (10-12) warn us to be wise and to serve Yehovah with fear, and to kiss the son least He be angry. Everyone who put their trust in Him, the Son, will be blessed. This is the good news, and we need to believe and accept!
Let us be clear on one single point: What we read is the Bible, which is Word of the Almighty.  We need to believe it because Yehovah is not a man that He should lie.
“Elohim[v] is not a man, that He should lie, nor a s son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?” Numbers 23:19
Humans lie all the time. Have you ever spoken a lie, willing or without even thinking about it? I think that we all may have lied one time or another, however, Yehovah has never lied, and never will he lie, for He is Truth.
And now let us see that the way He, Yehovah, does things it is not necessarily the way we would do it.
Before the King, his only Ben, Yehoshua, would be fulfilling some prophesies, He had to deal with us being reconciled to the Father.  But sin was in the way. The first created man sinned, and that pure life now had allow the enemy of Yehovah to brake the relationship with the Yehovah.
However, there was a plan made before the foundation of the world that Yehoshua would come into this world by becoming like one of us. He would come and live a live as we do, to be tempted by the devil, but not sinning. He had to be sinless because He needed to undo the work of Adam. He had to be our sinless sacrifice, for the penalty of sin is death.  The Plan was set up long before 2000 years ago. It was set up before the creation of the world. Yehoshua had to come and pay the price set for the penalty of our sin, which is death.   He himself had to be crucified on our behalf in order to reconcile us to the Father. The Father wants a family.  Please read Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53, and all the gospels. Please also read the letters to the Romans, Corinthians, and Galatians, and all the others in order for you to see for yourself the greatness of Yehoshua. I have written many messages, and I ask you to take the time and to read them all.
Read also the book of Acts and notice how His disciples were mightly used to reveal the power invested in them by their Mashiach[vi], who now went back to Heaven, and send to them, and to all believers, (including me and you if you believe), the Ruach haQodesh[vii] in order to be able to do what He had commanded them to do. Marqos/Mark 16:15-18
You must be born again!
Everyone needs to be born again by Yehovah Spirit.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Elohim.” Yochanan/John 3
The Book of Life
We need to have our name written in the Book of Life in order to enter in the New Jerusalem. And only the Redeemed will be there. (Revelation 21:22-26) Yehoshua has to be your Savior and He becomes your Savior when you are born again and live your life for Him.
“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
And because we become born of His Spirit, we receive the power to become children of Yehovah. (Yochanan/John 1:12)
Many changes take place after been born again!
Once we are in His kingdom our life changes. Our family may despise us.  The friends we had may leave us. Our whole life is now lived in focus of Eternal life. This life does no longer matter. Yehoshua spoke of taking up the cross and follow Him. How many will be fully convinced of this reality? How many of us are willing to stop focusing on money?
Money will deceive you.
Let us be aware that the love of money is deceiving many, even many preachers, and will lead them away from the calling of holiness. If we give our lives to Yehoshua He takes ownership of our lives, we do not belong to ourselves anymore. But if followers of Yehoshua allow themselves to be filled with pride and live in luxury, many times they lose sight of the cross.
“Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.” Mattithyahu/Matthew 13:22.
“How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of Elohim! Marqos/Mark 10:23
“For what profit is to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:26
I will end here, but I need to warn you to not focus on riches in this world, but on eternity. You may be barely making it here, but you will be fully fulfilled when you will be in Heaven. The message of the cross may scare you. But to me riches are more scaring, for many lose their soul pursuing riches. What is your choice?
If you have never asked Yehoshua to be your Saviour and Lord, please pray with me a simple prayer, simile to this one I am writing here for you.
Father Yehovah, I realize that I am a sinner. I have offended you. Please forgive me for my sin of unbelief and all other sins. I believe Yehoshua, is Your only Son. I Thank you, Yehoshua, for dying for me, and for giving me eternal life. I surrender my life and my will to you from this moment on. Please be my Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the Book of Life. Amen.

PASSOVER OR LAST SUPPER?

Today I need to address the issue of the Passover Seder and of the Last Supper of Yehoshua two thousand years ago. But before I speak about this, I need to speak briefly about the Person of Yehoshua.
Yehoshua, who is also called Yeshua, died around 33 AD. He was born of a virgin, (Luqas/Luke 1:26-38). While alive He preached the Kingdom of Elohim/God. He revealed the Father to His followers, and gathered 12 disciples who later He called APOSTLES.  After His baptism He was taken into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil for 40 days. Mattithyahu/Matthew 4:1-16) He basically fulfilled the Scriptures concerning him that we find written in the book called “’Bible.”
Mattithyahu/Matthew 4:17 “From that time Yeshua[i] began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
He became well known for His preaching, His many miracles, and for healing on the Sabbath, (Matt. 12:9-14).
The Pharisees they did not appreciate Him because He rebuked them for keeping traditions of men, instead of the pure Torah given them from Yehovah, His Father, and our Creator: Yehovah. Eventually He was crucified. But this was not accidental. He was born for this purpose. He had to die, to pay the penalty for our sins, which is physical and spiritual death. Our sin had separated us from our Heavenly Father. We needed to be reconciled and saved through His life.
Romiyim/Romans 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to Elohim through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
He accomplished this work for us, by taking our place on the cross. He is our Atonement and our Redeemer.  His blood had to be shed and applied to our lives to be accepted by the Father.  Through believing in Him, we become reunited with our Heavenly Father. Please read the following verses.
Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4 “See, all beings are Mine, the being of the father as well as the being of the son is Mine. The being that is sinning shall die” (HS)
Yechezqel/Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; the soul who sins shall die.”(NKJV)
Romiyim/Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Elohim. (NKJV)
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 59:1-2,3 “Behold, Yehovah’s[ii] Hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear, 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your Elohim[iii]; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity.
Yehoshua is our Redeemer.
Romiyim/’Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Mashiach Yehoshua, 25 whom Elohim set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith , to demonstrate His righteousness.
Eph’siyim/Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.
He was rejected by His own, but He became the only Savior.
Ma’aseh/Acts 4:11-12 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
This was a brief introduction to our Savior Yehoshua HaMashiach.
Now I must add that He was the perfect sacrifice, for He did not sin. He kept the Torah or I Commandments perfectly all the time till His death on the cross.
Qorin’tiyim 2/2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of Elohim in Him. (See also Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53)
Because He was born of Elohim, He did not inherit of the fallen Adam as we did. He only did what the Father said for Him to do. He was perfect in every way.
Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day after He created the universe I six days.
Bereshith/Genesis 2:1-3 Thus the Heaven and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day Elohim ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 then Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which Elohim had created and made.
Yehoshua kept the Sabbath, and because He only did what the Father was doing, He healed on the Sabbath, and because he is the master of the Sabbath (Matt.12:8).  But He never broke the Commandment to keep the Sabbath day Holy, (Shemoth 20:8-11). He kept all the Feasts, such as Pesach/Passover, Shavuot/Pentecost, Trumpets, or Day of Shouting, Yom ha’Kippurim/Day of Atonement, and Succoth, (Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23).
Then the day He knew was arrived to be given as our Atonement He told the apostles to prepare a dinner. Some bibles say Passover, however, it could not have been a Passover meal for He would be sacrificed the following day as our Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.
Yochanan/John 1:29 The next day Yochanan saw Yehoshua coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of Elohim who takes away the sin of the world!”
Yochanan was a type of Elijah that whose mission was to prepare the way of Yehoshua, our Mashiach. He said of himself, “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness; “Make straight the way of Yehovah.” (Yochanan I:23)
Shemoth/Exodus12:1-28 tells us the details of preparing the Pesach. We learned that it had to be in the first month. Yehovah declared the month they came out of Egypt to be the first month of the year. He then gave instruction to take the lamb on the tenth day of that month, and kill it on the fourteenth day of the same month. He gave instructions how to roast the lamb and it had to be a perfect animal. They had to consume it completely the same night. That night Yehovah sent the last plague, the death of the first born.
I say all this to clarify something very important.  All the feasts teach us about the life and death of Mashiach. Yehoshua had to fulfill completely and perfectly the feast that are also Historical and prophetic shadow pictures of our Mashiach. Yeshua died at the age of 33 years. He gave a temporary supper to the twelve apostles. At the dinner He broke the bread and told them to eat it because it was His body. He was still alive. But the bread had to be eaten from that day on, remembering Him. and His sacrifice that soon was to be offered to the Father on our behalf. He had to die not only for them, but for each one of us, in order for all of us to be reconciled to the Father.  He was about to become the lamb that takes away all the sin from the world. We do not think they understood yet the importance of eating that particular bread, and after the bread also drinking the wine, which represented His shed blood. However, later, after His resurrection they understood.
Some well intentioned brethren teach that He had a seder! However, the seder ceremony was invented in the year 1200 according to the scholars I heard teaching on this subject. The seder purpose was done to fill a spiritual need because on the Year 70 AD the Temple was destroyed and they could not longer use the Lamb on Pesach for there was no altar to pour the blood.
Besides this fact, Yehovah could not have had a Pesach/Passover dinner for that year He was to become the Pesach Lamb! He died the fourteenth day of  the first biblical month at the same time the Cohen ha’Gadol offered the yearly Sacrifice at 3PM, or between the evenings. He had to die the same day and  at the same time, the lamb was offered to be our Passover Lamb. not the day before or day after! He kept the Feasts perfectly. He had to keep  the Pesach perfectly or He would have sinned against the Word of Yehovah and He would have been disqualified to be our perfect Sacrificial Lamb.
Yehoshua said, “Do think that I came to destroy the Law (Torah) or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” Mattithyahu/Matthew 5:17
We may keep the Seder now, but with the understanding that our Lamb of Yehovah fulfilled the Word perfectly until the end.  Let us not  say that He did a seder  as fact, for there is no evidence. To state something as fact we need evidence, and in this case we do not have it. By saying that He kept the seder without any verse of scripture to prove it is a lie.
We cannot add nor take away from the word. Let us be very careful to not add anything at all.
Devarim/Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, not take from it, that you may keep eh commandments of Yehovah your Elohim which I command you.
Devarim 12:32 Whatever I command you be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it not take away from it.”
Mattithyahu 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law of the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.”
Conclusion: Yehoshua is our Pesach Lamb who died and rose again. He is alive today and we will be with Him for eternity. If you believe in Him and are baptized,  I will see you in Heaven! I will speak on this  subject later on.
Shalom!
