“I urge you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of Elohim, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, holy, and
acceptable to Elohim, which is your reasonable service.”- Romans 12:1
Yehovah desires that we present our
bodies to Him as a living sacrifice. Why is this, you may ask. Because we have been masters over our bodies since
we were born. We have used our own body
to glorify the devil instead of Yehovah. We may have stuffed our bodies with
unhealthy foods, and vomited the excess in order to lose weight. Some of
us have been on crazy diets hoping to lose those extra pounds. How many of us have eaten too much protein,
while we were starving our bodies from other important nutrients? However, maybe food is not your problem, but alcohol
or other drugs are. There are also other types of abuse. Sexual immorality is
one form of abuse, and you may have sold yourself to get drugs. You need to remember that you were created in Yehovah’s
image, but sin destroyed that image. Oh, the pain in Yehovah’s heart each time his
children have done such vile actions. You wonder why, Yehovah urges you to
present your body to Him as a living sacrifice? Are you aware that your body
does not belong to you? If you have given your life to serve Yehovah, and
have believed in Yehoshua to be your Savior, then you know that He paid the
redemption price for your body, soul and spirit. You belong to Him, and have no
legal right to misuse "His Body." Your
need for love caused you looking for physical pleasures. But once you know Him
personally, He will satisfy the deep longing for love and acceptance that is in
your heart. If you have not yet given your life to Him please do it now. Acknowledge and repent of your sin to Yehovah;
believe in Yehoshua, be baptized, and He will write your name in the Lamb’s
Book of Life.
“And I
saw the dead, small and great, standing before Elohim, and books were opened.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.” 14 “And the dead were
judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of
fire.”- Revelations
20:12
- No earthly pleasure can compare with the blessing of spending eternity with our Savior!
- Where do you want to spend eternity? There is only one Creator, and one Elohim, Yehovah who sent His only Ben/Son to take your place on that cross. You know the Scriptures declare all of us guilty. Today surrender your members, that is your whole life, to Him, your only Elohim, which include all your past sins.
- Be Baptized in the Name of Yehoshua, and leave your sins behind you forever. arise from the water a new man, and with all your heart start your new journey in Him. He will give you the grace you need to serve Him. Worship Him with all your heart, and He will meet with you. Time is short, do not wait.
