Obadyah[i] 15 “For the day of Yehovah[ii] is near upon all the gentiles. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your reward shall come back on your own head.”
The book of Obadiah is very short, but in it we find this powerful word. Yehovah gave this message to Obadyah concerning one great enemy of Yisra’el, Esaw[iii]. Esau was the brother of Ya’aqov. Although he was the firstborn, Yehovah chose his brother Ya’aqov to receive the firstborn blessing. You may have read the account of his birth and subsequent problems with His brother Ya’aqov.
Rivqah[iv] was barren and Yitschaq[v] her husband prayed for a child.
Bereshith 25:21-23  And Yitschaq prayed to Yehovah for his wife, because she was barren. And Yehovah answered his prayer, and Rivqah his wife conceived.
22 And within her the children struggled together, and she said, “If all is right, why am I this way?” So she went to ask Yehovah.
23 And Yehovah said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples shall be separated from your body. And one peoples shall be stronger than the other, and the older serve the younger.”
In these few verses we notice that Yehovah is all knowing, and before we are born He already knows how we will leave our lives.
Tehillim 139:13-16 For You, You possessed my kidneys , you have covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I give thanks to You, for I am awesomely and wondrously made!  Wondrous are Your works, and my being knows it well. 15 My bones were not concealed from You, When I was shaped in a hidden place, knit together in the depths of the earth. 16 your eyes saw my unformed body, and in your Book all of them were written, the days they were formed, while none was among them.
Yehovah has books in Heaven about our lives. There is the Book of the Living, (Tehillim 69:28,  and we read in Tehillim 139:16.
There also other books, such as the Book of Chai[vi], Chazon[vii] 3:5
In this book are written all our works, or the things we do in this life.
Next is the Book of Tears, Tehillim 56:8. Finally we read about the
Book or Remembrance.
Mal’akhi[viii] 3:16-17 Then shall those who revere Yehovah speak to one another,  and Yehovah listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who revere Yehovah, and those who think upon His Name.
There is special reward for those who think, or meditate and speak His Name.
17 “and they shall be Mine,” said Yehovah of hosts, “on the day that I prepare a treasured possession. And I shall spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.
All those who refuse to speak of Him by using His Name Yehovah will not get the reward.
And now let us continue to our message.  We have read that Esaw is the brother I Ya’aqov, but even though is the elder, Yehovah did not chose him, but chose his younger brother Ya’aqov. If we continue to read the Scriptures we learn that Esaw did not care about His birth right and sold it for a bowl of lentils. (Bereshith 25: 29:34)
However when the Yitschaq was old he talked with Esaw and asked him to prepare him his favored dish, for he would bless him. (Bereshith 27:1-4).
But Rivqah heard him and knowing the Prophetic Word she made sure that Ya’aqov would receive the birthright blessing. So Ya’aqov lied to his father saying he was Esaw in order to get the blessing, and he did get it!  (Bereshith 27: 5-29)
Amazingly Esaw now forgot that he did not care about his birthright, and got mad at his brother because he got the blessing! He became so mad that made treats to kill him. (Bereshith 27:41)
Because of Esaw’s attitude Ya’aqov’s parents sent him away to his uncle Lavan for fear that his brother would kill him.  We can see that Esaw eventually reconciled with Ya’aqov. Please read Bereshith 32. However, Esaw’s descendants for some reason hated Israel.
Yehovah rewards
Obadyah 16-18 “For as you have drunk on my qodesh mountain, so do all the gentiles drink continually.  And they shall drink and shall swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been.”
17 “But on Mount Tsiyon[ix]  there shall be a remnant, and they shall be qodesh. And the house of Ya’aqov shall be a fire, and the house of Yoseph a flame, but the house of Esaw for stubble. And they shall burn among them and they shall consume them so that no survivor is left of the house of Esaw.” For Yehovah has spoken.
The spirit of hate against the Chosen People is alive among the Gentiles. Great wars are going to be fought, but Israel will survive, for Yehovah does not forget the Covenant He made with Avraham, Yitschaq, and Ya’aqov.
The father’s blessing.
Bereshith 27:28-29 His father’s blessing: “See the smell of my son is like the smell of a field which Yehovah has barak.[x]And Elohim give you of  the dew of the shamayim, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.  29 ‘let people serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brothers, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be those cursing you, and barukh[xi] be those berakhah[xii] you.
Yehovah’s blessing.
Bereshith 28:12-16 And he dreamed and saw a ladder standing on the earth, and its top reached to the shamayim, and saw messengers of Elohim going up and coming down on it. 13 And see, Yehovah stood above it and said, “I am Yehovah Elohim of Avraham you father and the Elohim of Yitschaq. The land on which you are lying, I give it to you and your seed. 14”and your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall break forth to the west and to the east, to the north and the south. And all the clans of the earth shall be barukh in you and in your seed. 15 “And see, I am with you and shall guard you wherever you go, and shall bring you back to this land. For I am not going to leave you until have done what I have spoken to you.”
1-Yehovah makes a covenant with Avraham
Bereshith 12:1-3 And Yehovah said to Avram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. 2 “And I shall make you a great nation, and barakh you and make you name great, and you shall be a berakhah! 3 ‘And I shall barakh those who barakh you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be barukh.”
Yehovah blesses those who bless Israel. It is foolish to curse them by trying to destroying them. There is no good reward for those who hate them. Life is too short to hate anyone. Let us be wise and love people instead of detesting and making war against them.
2-Yehovah makes a Covenant with Avraham
Bereshith 15:18 On the same day Yehovah made a Covenant with Avram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great rive, the River Perath. [xiii]
Yehovah continues to describe the nations that Israel will possess.
Yehovah does not forget our actions and He will give the appropriate reward.
Galatiyim[xiv]6:7 “Do not be led astray: Elohim is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap. 8 because he who sows to his own flesh shall reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Ruach[xv] shall reap everlasting chai from the Ruach.
Yehovah keeps a records. Let us not live our lives hating Israel, who are the Chosen People of Yehovah through Avraham.  We all have part in His Kingdom if we obey the Rules of His Kingdom. Let us work for the good reward, and not for destruction.

Yehoshua defines defilement.
Yehoshua did not practice the traditions of the elders. Traditions are things handed down to us, but have no biblical value.  The Pharisees asked Yehoshua why His disciples did not wash their hands before they ate. (Mattithyahu/Matt.15:2)
Mattithyahu/Matt. 15:3-11 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of Elohim because of your traditions?
4  For Elohim commanded, saying ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ (Exodus 20:12), and “He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.” (Exodus 21:17). 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, ”Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to Elohim (God)”6-then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of Elohim of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Yeshayahu/Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
8‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
I have to copy this whole passage because there is much misunderstanding concerning the next two verses.
Did the unclean animals become clean after the cross?
10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, he said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
Marqos/Mark 7  speaks the same teaching as in the gospel of Mattithyahu, and he adds in verse 16 “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
The next verse is the one people use to prove that now all kinds of animals are good for food.
Marqos 7:18-19 And He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside is unable to defile him,  19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is cast out in the sewer, thus purging all the foods?”20 and He said , “what comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 1 “For from within , out of the heart of men, proceed evil reasonings, adulteries, whorings, murders, 22 thefts, greedy desires, wickednesses, deceit, indecency, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23 “All this wickedness comes from within and defile a man.”
Was Yehoshua giving a teaching on food  as we read in Wayyiqra/Leviticus 11?
NO! He was rebuking the Pharisees for keeping their traditions while they were not keeping the Commandments. We must understand the ways Yehoshua spoke and taught. He was making an illustration.
Yehoshua spoke clearly when He declared that the food we eat does not defile us, what defile us is our disobedience and everything we speak and do. Sin is what defiles us, and if we do not repent, we will be judged. But food does not defile us.
However, if you can take the scripture literally and not as Yehoshua intended, then I urge you to check your house for unclean food, and please do not poison rats, roaches,  worms,  caterpillars, scorpions, pigs,  and eat all beasts of the earth. You are free do as you will.  Would they defile you? No, they would not defile you, but you will get sick and even die prematurely before your time. Yehovah has given us guidelines on the foods to eat to keeps us healthy. He is a good Father and wants the best for us, but we refuse to listen to Him, and to obey His commandments. We love to do what we please. This is not pleasing to Him.
Please do not take a verse out of context. Read the whole passage. Even the letters of Paul are not understood because the church has been taught a lie. The people have not learned the Scriptures from Bereshit/Genesis through Malachi. They have been fed only what is normally called the New Testament, and they do not realize that the New is not “New” at all. It is the Covenant renewed in the Blood of Yeshua.
Yehoshua teaches us Truth.
Mattithyahu 7:21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My father in Heaven.’
Mattithyahu 5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven.”
If you beloved reader choose to eat pork and all unclean animals will not be defiled but you will suffer the consequences with your health. I rather do more than is required if it is possible, than doing less. You are free to do what you please, you do not have to please me, but Elohim alone. No sense getting angry with me. I choose to love you.
I choose to obey our Heavenly Father, Avinu Shebashamayim, and His Name is Yehovah. I choose to believe Yehoshua and keep the commandments.

.I have been listening to many critics concerning the healing ministry; for some denominations claim that healing has passed away, together with speaking in other tongues. They actually insist that tongues are demonic; in other words they are from demons therefore those people who speak in tongues have demons.
Let us read the following verses of Scriptures.
Luqas/Luke 11:14-15-23 And he was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled.  15 But some of them said, “He cast s out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.” (Read also Matt. 9:32-34)
If they, the skeptics, said to Yehoshua, Elohim in the flesh, had demons, how much more they will say to us, His followers?
Mattithyahu/Matt. 5:11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Our answer is to be happy and rejoice!
We know that many people do not believe the message; therefore we cannot be hurt by it. Yehoshua continued to heal everyone who came to Him, and He also told us to do the same. Although we know very well that we are not the healers. We are not Elohim; we are only his servant children. We deliver what He wants us to deliver in His Name. We bring His message, it is not our message, but it is His Message.  We cannot heal anyone, for we in our own strength cannot change on hair from black to white.
Yehoshua was teaching on the issue of false oaths when He said in Mattithyahu/Matt. 5:36 “Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
Indeed, we have no creative power. He alone receives all the glory for all His healings and miracles.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 48:8 I am Yehovah, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another.
Knowing this fact, why do people blame the person who prays for people when they do not get healed? My answer to this is that Yehovah is Sovereign, He is our King, and He is in control of our lives.  He may not heal the body because He may be dealing with some deep issues in their hearts. Their spiritual condition is more important to Him than their body.   Or they may have ended their time here on this planet and they will die. All of us will die. I also agree that many times a sickness helps us to become more compassionate toward those who suffer. And Yehoshua healed because of His compassion.
Mattithyahu 9:36 but when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them.”
He was and is pure, and He has more compassion than we ever will be able to have. No wonder He always was successful in healing and feeding the multitudes!
Not everyone gets healed when we pray. We have to accept this fact. Sometimes it may be our own lack of faith in Him, who is the true Healer, or we may pray for healing with the wrong reasons.
Only He is the judge, however, healing is for today, and Yehoshua said that if we ask anything in His Name, He will do it, and we will do even greater works. (Yochanan/John 14:12-14
The greater works means more in quantity because now we are many believers, when He was among men, He sent out first only 12 apostles, then he appointed 70 more, (Luqas/Luke 10:1)  and others who were not in the chosen group were also praying for the sick. Later on, the apostles appointed men to serve on tables. Remember Steven, who was one of them, just a believer, but he was full of faith and power, did great wonders and sign among the people.” He had been chosen because he was one “of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom.” (Ma’aseh/Acts 6:3, 8).
Yehoshua has commanded those who believe.
Marqos/Mark 16: 15-17 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be damned.  And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ….18 they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Our faith has to be in Yehoshua and His work on the cross alone, and not in ourselves. For if we trust in ourselves, we fail. And maybe this is the reason when we pray we do not see results. This happened to the disciples also.
Mattithyahu  17:14-16 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 then Yehoshua answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Yehoshua rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.”
19 then the disciples came to Yehoshua privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Yehoshua said to them, “Because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go our except my prayer and fasting.”
You notice that for someone in healing ministry has to spend time fasting, and their faith has to be strong.
Now there are some who claim healings in their ministry and they are not truthful. Read the parable of the tares.
Mattithyahu/Matt. 13:24- 25.30; 36-43 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.” (Continue reading His word verses 26-30; 36-43)
This passage is very long, and it is best you read the Word of Yehovah yourself from you Bible.
The parable of the dragnet.
Mattithyahu/Matt. 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 so it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
We have to understand that in churches there are true witches who come to make problems. They actually pray for the churches to be destroyed, and put curses on the believers. Also there are those in churches, who are not witches, but they have demons and when the Holy Spirit is present they manifest. The problem is that the pastor may not minister freedom by casting the devil from them, and let them go.  But to say that all manifestation are of the devil is going against the Holy Spirit of Yehovah, and this is a serious sin. This is what some folks did to Yehoshua.
Please receive the blessing of Yehovah to your life now.
