THE THIRD DAY

I have already talked about the death and resurrection of Yahoshua, but today I must continue to speak about this even for it is the event that can change the life of any person who reads it.

Yahoshua is the Lamb of Yahweh
Yochanan/John 1:29  On the next day Yochanan saw Yahoshua coming toward him, and said, “See, the Lamb of Yahweh who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who has become before me, for He was before me.’ 31 “And I did not know Him, but that He might be revealed to Yisra’el, therefore I came immersing in water.” 32 And Yochanan bore witness, saying, “I have seen the Ruach (Spirit) coming down from the shamayim like a dove and remain on Him.  33 And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Ruach coming down and remaining on Him, this is he who immerses in the Ruach ha’Qodesh.’ 34 “And I have seen and have witnessed that this is the Ben of Yahweh.”

Mattithyahu/Matthew 3:13-17 “Then Yahoshua came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, ‘I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to Me?’ But Yahoshua answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Yahoshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of Elohim descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Yochanan was his cousin, yet he did not know who the Messiah was until He saw the sign.  The sign was actually the dove which in Hebrew is called Yonah.
Now I will explain the two fold signs. When He was baptized the record in the Scriptures, and in the Book of Mattithyahu/Matthew 3:17 declare that the Holy Spirit came down like a dove, as already mentioned. What is the name of the dove in Hebrew? It is Yonah, or Jonah in English. The Hebrew letters for Yonah are: yod, vav, nun, hey. Knowing the Hebrew letters we can go further into describing the meaning of the sign Yonah.
The pictograph of the letter yod is - a hand, arm work, deed; vav is nail, peg, add, and; nun is the picture of a seed, fish, activity, life; the letter hey pictograph is of a women with the hands raised,  Lo! Behold!”
So we can say that Yonah according to the Pictograph can also mean: the hand was nailed and behold the Life, the Seed! Or: Behold the Life, the Seed that was nailed.
This is something I try to put together because I sensed there is much more to the dove sign than what we have been told. We had only been taught that it represented the Holy Spirit. This dove sign actually described the complete identity and ministry of the Messiah, Yahoshua, but no one saw it. However, now knowledge is increasing, according to the Prophet Daniel, and He is revealing to us things that were not known in the past.
Please, understand that Yonah was not visible to anyone except to Yahweh. He was alive in the belly of the fish. Yahoshua was also visible only to His Father, but not to us. He also was in the bowels of the earth alive until the pre-ordained time, which was the third day, on the Sabbath, and not on the Sun-day; as it is usually taught and celebrated by those who are ignorant of the Scripture
YHWH gave the sign at the very beginning of Yahoshua’s ministry, but no one saw it. Then He spelled it out, but they could not understand. Finally in the last verse we read that He said to the Pharisees that He would give no sign. He had enough with their testing.
Concerning the numbers in the Scriptures, we see specific numbers appearing over and over again. The number three is the number of Divine Perfection. Yahweh is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.
So the number three in Scriptures describes to us Yahweh in His complete perfection. We also see the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who in reality is YHWH’S and Yahoshua’s Spirit.
When Yahoshua was missing at the age twelve, and He was found in the Temple talking with the leadership after three days, we notice that the number 12 is 1+2 = 3; once again we see the Deity of the Son, and a shadow of the third day, which speaks to us of the resurrection and the Millennium.
He was found on the third day. This is also going to be the day that the Jewish people, His people, will be able to SEE Him for Who He is. Although many Jews are now serving the Mashiach, on the third day, or the third Millennium, after the fullness of the Gentile will be complete they also will serve Him. The Gentiles need to let go of their strange doctrines of men, and accept the Torah as part of their Covenant with the Mashiach. If the Christians want to be part of the Olive Tree, they need to be one with the Jewish people and partake of the Root to be alive and productive.  They cannot replace Israel, but they can be grafted in.

In spite of all the things He was doing, which the Mashiach would be doing, the religious leaders opposed Him and asked for a sign.

Mattithyahu/Matthew 12-38-40 “Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, ‘Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah. For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:4 “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah.”

The Father also had revealed the identity of Yahoshua to the apostle Kepha (Peter). When He asked His talmidim (disciples) who do men say that He was. And they gave some of the answers, then point blank He said to them: “And you , who do you say I am?”
And Kepha/Peter answered Him saying:  “You are haMashiach, the Ben/Son of the living Elohim.”Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:16

Now they knew who He was, but He warned them not let anyone know about His identity, for if the people would know they would not crucify Him, and we would be still in our sin separated from our Heavenly Father. (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 59:2-3) However, the disciples heard His words speaking of His death and resurrection, but they did not understand.

Mattithyahu/Matthew 16:20-21“Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Yahoshua haMashiach. From that time Yahoshua began to show to His disciples that He must go to Yerushalayim , and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”

Marqos/Mark 8:31: And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.”

Luqas/Luke 11:29-30 “And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, “This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation.”

Yochanan/John 2:18-19 “So the Jews answered and said to Him, ‘What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?’ Yahoshua answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

Marqos/Mark 8: 11-12: Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him. But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”

He had already told them more than once that the sign would be the sign of the prophet Yonah.
The first thing I must mention is the fact that the Yonah, or dove, came down from Heaven while the Father said: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
The dove was spiritual, and did not come from the farm, but from the Father in Heaven.

Dani’el 12:4: “…and knowledge shall increase.” We see this taking place in this generation.
We need to have more knowledge.
Hoshea/Hosea 4:6: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” But knowledge will only come to the true and persistent seekers. We must speak in the spiritual language He has given us, in order for our senses to awaken.

I want to point out Marqos/Mark 8:2: “I have compassion of the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat.”
He waited to feed them until the third day. Do you suppose He was trying to give them some kind of hint?
He waited three days to feed them, when they had no other resource. On the third day (millennium) is when most of the Chosen People will come to know Him. The harvest has already begun.
We also notice that Yahoshua said that when the Temple would be destroyed He would raise it up the third day. The Temple is composed of three parts, the Outer Court, the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Yahoshua was the living Temple, and the body is also composed of Body, Soul and Spirit.
We are also called the Temple of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit).    He was the living Temple.

Qorin’tiyim 1/ 1 Corinthians 3:16: “Do you not know that you are the temple of Elohim and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?”
Kepha1/1 Peter 2:5: “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Elohim through Yahoshua HaMashiach.”

Matthew 27:50-53, “And Yahoshua cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.”
I had difficult time understanding these last few verses, and I am sure you have had trouble with them also. Let me explain in   few words what I have learned.
After the High Priest killed the last Passover lamb, in the evening He would go alone to mark the First Fruits Offering heaves. He would tie them, and after that, he stayed three days and three nights on the temple mount in solitude. He was rehearsing the death  and Resurrection of the Messiah, but did not know what he was doing.

On the third day after the Passover, which is during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the High Priest, as far as I understand, would go to the field with witnesses to cut up the sheaves he previously bound for the First Fruit Offering which he had to prepare to be offered the following morning which is still the THIRD DAY.
Remember that the day does not begin in the morning, but at the time the sun goes down, therefore the priest went at night but it was already the third day. This is a shadow picture of the time of the resurrection of the Messiah. Let us read the encounter of Yahoshua the risen Mashiach with Miryam, who wanted to cling to His feet.  (Yochanan 20:11 -17) In verse 17 we read the following: “Yahoshua said to her, do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.”

Yahoshua needed to go to His Father to bring Him the First Fruits of the Resurrection. Those were the people in the graves that He marked at His death, (Mattithyahu/Matthew 27:53). They did not rise until after His resurrection. Just as the sheaves were openly harvested, also those people, the first fruits from the dead, were also visible to people after Yahoshua’s resurrection. “They appeared to many,” the Word declares, and many saw them alive.
Mattithyahu/Matthew 27:53: “And coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.”

Yahoshua appeared on the third day to two of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. (Luke 24:13-27)

Yochanan/John 20:1 “And on one of the shabbathoth, (Sabbaths) Miryam  from Magdala came to the tomb In the morning, when it was still dim, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.
The Greek Scriptures say that she went on one of the Sabbaths. There are at least three Sabbaths in this feast. The 15th day  is the first Sabbath, then on the Feast of First Fruits, and the last day. Plus there could also be another Sabbath. The feast is seven days long.

But could be that Mary who kept the Sabbath, and could not break the commandment, she may have waited until the Sabbath was over. The First Day of the week (Sunday) begins after sun down, and she may have waited to go when there would be a little light.

Marqos/Mark 2:27-28 And He said to them, “The Shabbat was made for man, and not man for the Shabbat. “so the Ben of Adam is also Adon of the Shabbat.”
He is not the Adon of  Sunday, but of the Shabbat. Of course literally His is Lord or Master, Adon, of every day of the year but He was making a point to the critics by specify Who He was and also is.
He could not have died on a Friday and risen on the Saturday or Sunday morning. This teaching was and is an act of syncretism, or combining  what is pagan with the truth.

He died to fulfill all the various Sacrifices that the book of Wayyiqra (Leviticus) teaches.
He fulfilled the Minchah or Meal Offering. The priest would burn a fistful (Kometz) of this offering on the altar and eat the rest.  This offering consisted of choice flour mixed with oil and salt to make like a cake, but could not have leaven or honey. Leaven represents our sin, pride and hypocrisy, false teaching, and worldliness.
Qorin’tiyim1 /1 Corinthians 5:6-8 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the entire lump? 7 therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Mashiach our Pesach was offered for us.  8 So then let us observe the Festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (Read also Galatiyim/Galatians 5:9; Marqos 8:15)
Salt represents preservation, but leaven changes the texture.
Honey also is not used because honey is sweet to the taste, but it stinks when it burns. This offering was supposed to give out a sweet aroma. Yahoshua sacrifice is sweet and has produced our salvation, and His sacrifice was a sweet aroma to the Father.
Yahoshua was also our Shelamim- Shalom/Peace Offering.  (Wayyiqra 3)
He also fulfilled the Chatat –Sin Offering (Wayyiqra 4:1-4)
Yahoshua fulfilled the Asham - Guilt Offering.  (Wayyiqra 6:5-7

Yahoshua sacrifice was seen in the book of Wayyiqra/Leviticus and we see it fulfilled in the Messianic Writings. He was sacrificed once and for all.
Ivrim/Hebrews 9:25-28 not that He should offer Himself often, as the kohen ha’gadol enters into the Miqdash (The Most Holy Place) year by year with blood not his own. 26 For if so, He would have had to suffer often, since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the offering of Himself.  27 And   s it awaits men to die once, and after this the judgment, 28  so also ha’Mashiach, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to those waiting for Him, unto deliverance.

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:10 But Yahweh was pleased to crush Him,  He laid sickness on Him, that when He made Himself an offering for guilt, he would see a seed, he would prolong His days and the pleasure of Yahweh prosper in His hand.

Yoseph of Ramathayim, came to wrap the Body of Yahoshua. Yochanan 19:38 And after this, Yoseph of Ramathayim, being a talmid of Yahoshua, but secretly, for fear of the Yahudim, asked Pilatus that he might take the body of Yahoshua , and Pilatus gave permission, therefore he came and took the body of Yahoshua.
This happened on the 14th day of the Biblical Calendar. He had to hurry for the following day begins at sundown and it would be the 15th day which is the feast of Unleavened Bread and it is a special Sabbath, a day of rest.
39 And Nakdimon, who at first came to Yahoshua by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh  and aloes, about  a hundred litras.40 Then they took the body of Yahoshua, and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as was the habit of the Yahudim for burial.
Yoseph performed the mitzvah (commandment) of preparing Yahoshua’s body for burial. They did the Khevra Kadisha to protection from desecration.  By wrapping Yahoshua they practiced the custom of Takhrikhim, providing the correct burial garment for the dead.
He was buried in a rich’s man tomb in fulfillment of the Messianic prophecy in Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:9 And He was appointed a grave with the wicked, and with the rich at His death, because He had no violence nor was deceit in His mouth.

But Mashiach did not stay in the tomb too long, on the third day He rose again, as He had said He would.
Qorin’tiyim 1/1 Corinthians 15:20 But now Mashiach has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruit [Bikkurim] of those having fallen asleep.
Because He rose we will also rise again.
Shalom

DO WE CELEBRATE PASSOVER OR EASTER?

Easter is fast approaching and mothers have been buying their babies all the best clothes they possibly can for this special day. They may have bought extra eggs, dye’s, stickers, and shrink wrap, in an attempt to not be outdone by all the other mothers and families that will be sharing in your festivities. Many of them will gather at a specific location at sunrise for a symbolic reference to the Christ raised from the grave.
The faithful church members will hear the preacher teach that on Good Friday they crucified the LORD and laid him in a borrowed tomb. And then early on Easter Sunday morning he was raised from the Dead.
I will now tell of the Easter story some of you who are reading this message were never told. And you may begin to see why you are doing all the things that surround this day, and have been doing it just because that is what everyone else is doing and some man told you it was the proper thing to do. If everyone was going to jump off a bridge would you do it?  What if the president of the United States, or even your pastor, told you it was the right thing to do, would you do it? I do not believe  you would, and neither would I even I were in that position.  But we all have followed traditions of man without questioning their validity. I certainly did, for I grew up doing all the “right” things for the Easter celebration. I fasted meat on Friday for the church forbade us to eat meat, so we ate fish. I went to do the station of the cross, and went to church Easter Sunday. Actually in Italy and Hawaii we went to celebrate Easter on the early morning mass. Why was that? I did not know then, but I found out the reason many years later.
I will share with you some scriptures throughout this message, but first I just want to tell you the true Easter Story. You may have heard about Nimrod, who is a descendant of Noach through His son Ham, the father of Kena’an, whom Noach cursed. (Bereshith/Genesis 9:22; 10:6-8).  Nimrod married Semiramis. The tale about Nimrod was that he was a great hunter, and he became the king of Babylon where they built the tower of Babel. This is where YHWH confused the language of the people. But the Story of Semiramis was not told in scripture, before becoming the wife of Nimrod she is actually referred to as Semiramis the second to whom the hanging gardens of Babylon where built.  This character is a little hard to trace but we know that she was later called the Queen of Heaven. And this is the only clue we have to her in the Bible.
Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 44:15-19 “Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, with all the women who stood by, a great multitude, and all the people who dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying: “As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of YHWH,  we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, were well-off, and saw no trouble. But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.” The women also said, ‘And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make cakes for her, to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her without our husbands’ permission?
Now the legend says that when Shem killed Nimrod and sent his body parts to the lands in the religion that he had formed with Semiramis it is said that he ascended into the sky and became the sun god.  Later a religion was formed and was called Mithraism. This is the Religion  Constantine the Great was involved in. He was a sun god worshiper until the day he died. He is also recognized as pope in the Roman Catholic Church.  In fact he said to have been praying to this sun god on a SUNday when he saw the sign of a cross, which led him to form the religion now known as Catholicism, from which all protestant religions were birthed.
After Nimrod died, years later, Semiramis was said to have been magically impregnated by the rays of the sun, and bore a male child which she named Tammuz. You can find him in scripture as well. Yechezqel/ Ezekiel 8:14 “So He brought me to the door of the north gate of YHWH’S house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.”
Semiramis married her son Tammuz, who like his father was a great hunter, but at the age of forty while on a hunting trip  he was gored to death by a wild boar. His followers then cried for him for 40 days: one day for each year of his life. During this time, the sun god worshipers deprived themselves a pleasure in this life in order to somehow give pleasure to Tammuz in the afterlife!  This is why we have 40 days of lent and also why Christians eat ham on Easter Sunday. It was this abomination that is being referred to in Yechezqel/Ezekiel 8:14.
After Tammuz’ death Semiramis is said to have grieved herself to death. But at her death it is said that she ascended into the sky to become the moon god and earn the tile of “The Queen of Heaven.”  But how would they know that Semiramis had really become “The Queen of Heaven”? They needed a sign. The legend continue to say that she descended from heaven in a giant egg, landing in the Euphrates River and bursting out as the bare breasted goddess Ishtar, later known as Easter. To prove her divinity she turned a bird into an egg laying rabbit,  Someone used this tale to begin a religion, complete with priests and sacrifices.
Every year on the first SUNday after the vernal equinox they would have a day of worship and celebration which they called it Easter. On this day at SUNrise, the cultic Priest would take Virgins and rape them on the altar of ISHTAR. Now by the sheer number of women being raped there would be children born from those rapes. These priests would take the now three month old babies, born from the previous years' rape, cut their throat and drain their blood into a bowl. They would then take Eggs and dip them in the blood of these sacrificed babies and hide them about the city. This atrocious act was done almost as a down payment… which promised that if a person would find one of those eggs that person would bare male children. Could anyone be more deceived? Yet they did it.
And that is the true Easter Story   and it has nothing to do with the resurrection of our Mashiach (Messiah) Yahoshua, who is better known today with the name Jesus.
Knowing this story, how would anyone buy eggs, dye, hiding eggs, get stuffed rabbits, and going  to SUNrise service on SUNday?
Now let’s go to Scripture and see what it has to say about the Resurrection of our Mashiach Yahoshua. We all know that Yahoshua was our Passover Lamb, and being so, He was crucified on Passover, fulfilling the Scriptures.
On the Erev (when the sun starts it descent in the sky around 3pm) on the 14th day of the First Month of the Biblical Calendar, the priest at the temple would start sacrificing the Passover Lamb. The exact day and time that Yahoshua was being hung on the Cross. When the Sacrifice and ritual was complete the priest would come out and declare with a loud voice “IT IS FINISHED” at the exact same time Yahoshua declared:  “IT IS FINISHED” (Yochanan/John 19:30) and He gave up His Spirit.  By saying these last words he declared that He had finished all His Father and He agreed to do in order to fulfill the Scriptures, and redeemed all who would believe in him.
But before He gave up His Ruach (Spirit) He went through great suffering. At every Passover the Yahudim/Jews could receive the freedom of one person which had been convicted to die. Pilate wanted to release a murderer, Barabbas, but they refused the offer, and asked for their King Yahoshua to be crucified. He gave His life to save the sinner Barabbas and you and me.
Yochanan/John 18:39-40 “But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Do you therefore want me to release to you the King of the Jews?’ Then they all cried out again, saying, “Not this Man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
Yochanan/John 19:1-7 So then Pilate took Yahoshua and scourged Him. And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. Then they said, ‘Hail, King of the Jews.’ And they struck Him with their hands. Pilate then went out again, and said to them, ‘Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him.’ Then Yahoshua came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!’ Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, ‘Crucify Him,’ crucify Him!’ Pilate said to them, “You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.’ The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to your law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of Elohim.”
Yahoshua was chosen to be sacrificed, and Barabbas was released. He took the place of the sinner, literally became sin, and He was sacrificed for you and me.
Qorin’tiyim 2/2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.
Yahoshua fulfilled every prophecy concerning His first coming.  He fulfilled every detail of becoming our Pesach (Passover Lamb) but I want to show you how Easter has nothing to do with his resurrection.
Now the Church says Yahoshua was crucified on Friday and they call this day Good Friday because scripture declares they had to get him in the grave because the Sabbath was coming. They did not even have time to clean the body and anoint it. Yet we see in the NKJV scripture that early on the first day of the week after the Sabbath Mary came to anoint his body and perform the burial ritual He was already raised. However, the correct translation from the Greek reads in a different way.
Yochanan/John 20:1-9 “Now on one of the Shabbathoth, Miryam from  Magdala went to the tomb in the morning, while it was still dim, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.  2 So she ran and came to Shim’on Kepha (Simon Peter), and to the other talmid (disciple), whom Yahoshua loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the  Adon (Lord) out of the tomb, and we do not know where they laid Him.”  3 Then Kepha (Peter) and the other talmid (disciple), went out, and they were going to the tomb, 4  and the two were running together, but the other talmid outran Kepha and came to the tomb first.  5  And  stooping down he saw the lines wrappings lying, but he did not go in. 6  Then Shim’on Kepha  came, following him, and went into the tomb.  And he saw the linen wrapping lying,  7 and the cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but folded up in a place by itself.  8 So, then, the other talmid, who came to the tomb first, also went in. And he saw and believed.  9 For they did not yet know the Scripture, that He has to rise again from the dead.
He rose on the Sabbath, not on a sun-day! He was the Adon of the Sabbath! He created the world with the Father. He would not share His glory with the sun god worshipers!
Now let continue to figure out what the translators have written. If they had to put him in the grave on a Friday because the Sabbath was coming, and the morning after the Sabbath he was already raised how was he in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights? He had to fulfill the prophecy he had spoken while alive, or He would not have been the valid Savior, for He would have sinned, but... He did not sin.
MattithYahu/ Matthew 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39 But He answering said to them, “As wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the navi Yonah.  40 For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the ben of Adam be three days in the heart of the earth.”
Let us say they are counting Friday as the first day that is day one. Friday night would have been night one. Saturday would have been day 2 and Saturday night would have been night 2. Now when Mary came at the dawning of the day on Sunday he was already raised. So where is day 3 and night 3?  Where is the third day and night? Besides, you cannot count Friday, for He died about 3:00 pm, and was in the grave before Sundown.
I believe the translators did it on purpose. There is no other explanation.
The Scriptures said they came to the tomb on one of the Shabbathoth,(Sabbaths) not on Sunday as the NKJV has written.  Please read the original Greek and you see it.
The Feasts of Yahweh are not celebrated according to the Equinox, or according to the days of the week. They are celebrated according to specific dates. For instance the First of the Year is when the barley is going to be ready for harvest on the Feast of First Fruits which is on the 17th day of the First Biblical Month. The 17th day Yahoshua rose from the dead to fulfill the Feast of First Fruits. He is the First one to rise from the dead, and we all who believe in Him will also rise!
Remember Passover is the 14th day, or the day before the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is on the 15th day of the First Biblical Month.
The Scriptures declare that the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a Sabbath (not a weekly Sabbath, but a special Feast Day Sabbath) which is a rest day. This was the Sabbath that was coming, and the reason they had to get him in the grave quickly was because they could not work on the Sabbath
Wayyiqra/Leviticus 23:6-7“And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Matstsoth (Unleavened Bread) to YHWH- seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you have a qodesh gathering, you do not servile work.”
Because of this Feast they could not take care of the Body of Yahoshua. They could cook, but not shop and get the spices to embalm Him.  I already said that the Scriptures say that Miryam came on a Shabbathoth, or on one of the Biblical Sabbaths, not on Sunday. You see, ignorance of the Word causes many people to disobey Yahweh. We must find out truth for ourselves for we will be judged according to what the Word says, not according to traditions of men. Yahoshua said it this way:
“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My Words, has one who judges him: the Word that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day.” Yochanan/John 12:48
We must know in our hearts that Yahoshua did not lie when He spoke of His death and resurrection. He did not lie when He said He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.  He fulfilled the Word, but we did not understand, not knowing the Scriptures. We were not taught to celebrate the Feasts which are historical and prophetic shadow pictures of the life of our Savior.  Anti Semitism removed the teachings from us, until Yahweh intervened and led us to learn about the Torah, which is our instruction from Yahweh to learn of Him and live a righteous life.
Should anyone continue to participate in traditions of men instead of obeying the Word?  I know all the arguments, “Well that’s not what it means to me,” and “I'm doing it in remembrance of his resurrection not paganism.” Well I have one more story to tell you then you can make up your own mind if this is something you should ever participate in again.
Remember after the children of Israel crossed the red sea and Moses had gone upon the mountain for forty days. The people became restless and asked Aaron to make them a god.  He made them the golden calf
Aaron finished the work and then he announced that the following day they would have a feast day to YHWH. Moses came down in the middle of their wickedness and broke the Ten Commandments. At that point YHWH said he was going to kill them all and rise up a nation from Moses. This Calf was to them a representation of their Elohim YHWH, and they would worship it. (Shemoth/Exodus 32).
They forgot the Ten Commandments they had just received. (Shemoth/Exodus 19-20)
It does not matter what Easter means to us, it only matters what it means to our Creator YHWH. He said He would have no other god before him and everything about an Easter celebration originated in the false worship of a false god.

I hope you find this message helpful, and if you are in some form of idolatry: REPENT now, and do not wait another day, for it may never come. If you choose to serve Yahweh please do it with all your heart, not as a religious duty, but because you love Him.
If you call on the Name of Yahweh, and believe in Yahoshua’s sacrifice, His blood will cleanse you from all sin.
Please also know that every time you read “The LORD,” in your Bible, it is hiding the true Name of Elohim, our Creator whose Name is “YHWH.” Joshua is also the correct Name in English of our Savior Yahoshua.
Shalom, shalom.
