After the death of Shelomoh his son Rechav’am became king.
However, Rechav’am was not very wise, and according to the Word of Yahweh, he lost the ten tribes. (Melakhim 1/1 Kings 12: 2-19)
Melakhim 1/1 Kings 12:20 And it came to be when all Yisra’el heard that Yarob’am had come back, they sent for him and called him to the congregation, and appointed him to reign over all Yisra’el. There was none who followed the house of Dawid, except the tribe of Yahudah only.

But Rechav’am was not very happy about it. He may not have known about the devil, but if a Christian would have experienced such trouble, may have began to bind the devil!  However, it was not the devil, but Yahweh passing judgment on the family.
We must be very careful not to give the devil too much credit. Yahweh is Sovereign and He is still in control no matter how many problems come our way.
Rechav’am wanted  fight Yarob’am but the prophet told him to stop for it was Yahweh’s doing. (Melakhim 1/1 Kings 12:21-24) When things do not go as we expect, we must pause for a moment.  Let us not be too quick to get the answer, but wait upon Yahweh, and He will clarify or illuminate every thought in our minds. He must be first in our thoughts, and we must let Him search our hearts for any secret sin. In this case Rechav’am was suffering not necessarily for his own sin, but the sin of his father.
Yahweh was judging Yisra'el, and the king could do nothing about it.
Devarim/Deut. 10:17 “For Yahweh your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Adon (Lord) of masters, (lords), the great El, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.”
We may be slow to understand that Yahweh is not a man as we are, but He cannot be manipulated or force to change His Rules according to our ways.
We cannot be Elohim (God). He has created us less than He is.  Tehillim/Psalm 8:5 “You have made him a little less than Elohim.”
For if He would have created us as He is, He would cease to exist as Elohim. We must be content to function with the abilities He has given us. We must submit to Him, and not Him to us.
Man may be smart, but Yahweh is much smarter than man, and He will never change!
Mal’akhi/Malachi 3:6 “For I am Yahweh, I shall not change.”
There is security for each of us when we do understand this truth. He is not capricious, and changes His mind as may do every moment. No! He is steadfast, unwavering, unmovable, and we can place our trust in Him, and not be disappointed.
So, we discovered that the kingdom was taken away from Shelomoh's son, who because of the sin of his father, and maybe even because of his own pride! He lost then tribes, but kept one for the sake of King Dawid, his grandfather. This young king did not seem to fear Yahweh. He listened to his friends to his own detriment. Nevertheless, as we know, it was Yahweh’s will. (Melakhim 1/ 1 Kings 12: 2-19)
Rechav’am/ Rehoboam did not know Yahweh had already pronounced judgment on Yisra’el.

But Yarob’am did not learn the lesson from Shelomoh’s idolatry!
Melakhim 1/1 Kings 12:26 And Yarov’am said in his heart, “Now the reign shall return to the house of Dawid. 27 If these people go up to do slaughtering in the House of Yahweh at Yerushalayim, then the heart of this people shall turn back to their master, Rechav’am sovereign of Yahudah, and they shall slay me and go back to Rechav’am sovereign of Yahudah.  28 So the sovereign took counsel and made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Yerushalayim. See, your mighty ones, O Yisra’el, which brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim!”
What was his motive? His motive was fear of losing the kingdom that Yahweh Himself had entrusted him with. This is big stuff! He got gifted with the kingdom, but now he fears to lose it!
Is this why some ministries take such huge offerings, in the churches and on television, because they fear their ministry will not continue if they do not raise all that money?
Is this the reason why all the gimmickry? We really need a renewal in our lives in order for us not fall in to it this sort of lifestyle. We should, and must trust Yahweh, that He will finish all those things He has called us to do in our lives.  If He has given us a television ministry, or a ministry to feed the poor, we must do things His way, not bombarding people to get money. If we keep on asking for money we are lacking faith. Trust is Him is what we need to have, and not in our own abilities.
We need to know that we are not judged on how much we produce, but how well we trust and obey Him. The results are His, and all glory goes to Him alone.
When men try to press others to give money, they are not walking in faith. Many times they press  people for money by offering things, ether their books, or anything else. They say: ‘if you give this much, you get this much”, and so forth. I am against those fundraisers. They seem to be motivated by greed, in my opinion. There was a man who was called to care for orphans. He never asked for money, but people gave to him all he needed. The problem is that sometimes we loose tract of who gave us the call.
Many times there is competition going on, and measuring self with others. Wanting to excel no matter what the cost.  It seems to me that pride is in operation in those cases. I am sure not everyone is in the same category, but many may be. Only Yahweh really knows the heart of the person.   If you are a pastor who does all the above-- examine your conscience, and your own ethics. Are they glorifying Yahweh?  See if there is anything wrong in your thinking, and if there is, repent quickly. Amen.

And now let us read from the book of Shemoth/Exodus.
Shemoth 20:2-5, 22-23 “I am Yahweh your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim/Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  3 You shall have no other gods before Me.  4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;  5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I Yahweh your Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. “ 22 Then Yahweh said to Mosheh, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra’el: ‘You have  seen that I have talked with you from heaven.  23 You shall not make anything to be with Me-gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.

Yahweh gave a specific command concerning idolatry. But man….
Shemoth/Exodus 32: 1-6  And when the people saw that Mosheh was so long coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Arise, make us mighty ones (gods) that shall go before us; for as for this Mosheh, the man who brought us up out of the land of Mitsrayim,  we do not know what has become of him. 2 And Aharon said to them, “Take off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me. 4 And he took from their hand, and he formed it with an engraving tool, and made a moulded calf. And they said, “This is your mighty one, o Yisra’el, that brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim!
Aaron was to be the Cohen ha’Gadol, (the High Priest), and he listened to them instead of obeying the Command of Yahweh. Did he fashion the idol to please the people?  Or was he deceived as they were? So, we can see, that no one is above of being deceived, even the Pope and the highest authority in our land can be deceived.
And how many high and lifted up men have already fallen!
They did what they were familiar with in the land of Mitsrayim/Egypt. One of the major gods in Egypt was the god Hathor. She was represented as a woman with a sun disk on her head, or as a cow with a sun disk between the horns. They created various forms of the same god. But basically it is all about sun god worship, which we also see in the some churches and all over America today.
Mosheh came down from the mountain and he pulverized the calf and made them drink the water.  Then the Levites (Shemoth32:26-28) who joined themselves to Mosheh killed every one his brother who had participated in the worship of the calf, and about 3000 souls died that day.
Yarob’am forgot this incident, and made not only one but two golden calves, and placed one in Beyth El, and one in Dan.  After all he came out of Mitsrayim where he witnessed the worship of this god. He probably  thought, "Why not'?!
He also invented his own priesthood, and the his own feasts days.  Instead of the people going to Yahudah to worship in the seventh biblical month to celebrate Succoth, he made them stay in the Northern Kingdom.  He chose the eight month to celebrate those idols, instead of the seventh.  He made his own religion.    (Melakhim1/1 Kings 12:26-33)
However, some Levites and others still went to the Temple in Yerushalayim to worship. I also read that others moved to Yahudah, (Judah) to live there.
Yarov’am did not trust the Word of Yahweh who gave him the ten tribes, which was later called the Northern Kingdom, or Ephrayim.
Instead he established His own kingdom by leading his people into idolatry. Many Kings have caused the nation to stumble over and over again.
Sadly, there are also ministers who have damaged the Congregations by their insecurities, and through preaching things contrary to the Word, only because it was new thing or “new revelation” in some circles. Many times false teachings have been added to the Word, and by removing what is holy. We cannot add nor take away from the Word for Yahweh forbids it.
Devarim/Deut. 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it. So as to guard the Commands of Yahweh your Elohim which I am commanding you.”
But does the congregations listens to Him? Let us listen to devar ha’Elohim, the Word of Elohim, and be safe.
I will continue this message next time.

Melakhim 1/1 Kings 13 proclaim the biography of the disobedient prophet, but before I will talk about this prophet, I need to speak about Sovereign Yarob’am/Jeroboam.
This man has been a servant of Sovereign Shelomoh/Solomon.
Melakhim 1/1 Kings 11: 26 And a servant of Shelomoh, Yarob’am son of Nebat, an Ephrayimite from Tseredah, whose mother’s name was Tseru’ah, a widow, also lifted up a hand against the sovereign.  27 And this is what caused him to lift up a hand against the sovereign: Shelomoh had built Millo, repairing the breaks in the City of Dawid his father. 28 And the man Yarob’am was a brave (mighty) man. And Shelomoh, seeing that the young man was doing his work well, made him the officer over all the compulsory labour of the house of Yoseph. 29 And it came to be at that time, when Yarob’am went out of Yerushalayim, that the navi (prophet) Achiyah the Shilonite met him on the way. And he was wearing a new garment, and the two were alone in the field. And Achiyah took hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into twelve pieces, 31 and said to Yarob’am, Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus said Yahweh, the Elohim of Yisra’el, ‘See , I am tearing the reign out of the hand of Shelomoh and shall give ten tribes to you, 32 But he shall have one tribe for the sake of my Servant Dawid, and for the sake of Yerushalayim, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Yisra’el.”
The prophet continued to prophesy that the reason Yahweh was dividing Yisra’el was because of the idolatry of Shelomoh (Solomon), (Melakhim 1/1 Kings 11: 1-8)
Yahweh had spoken to him very clearly that He was going to divide the kingdom. The sin of a leader has caused many divisions and many wars in the kingdom.
Melakhim 1/I Kings 11:9-13 “Therefore Yahweh was enraged with Shelomoh, because his heart had turned away from Yahweh Elohim of Yisra’el, who had appeared to him twice, 10 and had commanded him  concerning this word, not to go after other mighty ones (gods). But he did not guard what Yahweh had commanded. 11 And Yahweh said to Shelomoh, “Because you have done this, and have not guarded My Covenant and My Laws, which I have commanded you, I shall certainly tear the reign away from you and give it to your servant. 12 Only, I do not do it in your days, for the sake of your father Dawid. Out of the hand of your son I shall tear it.  13 Only, I do not tear away all the  reign but give one tribe to your son for the sake of my servant Dawid, and for the sake of Yerushalayim which I have chosen.”
Yahweh gave Shelomoh time to repent, but instead of repenting he decided to want to kill Yarob’am, but of course he did not achieve his goal.
Yochanan1/1 John 3: 7-8 Little children, let no one lead you astray. The one doing righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Ben of Yahweh was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.
Yochanan/John 8:34, 44 Yahoshua answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone doing sin is a servant of sin. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murder from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
All sin is idolatry. Idolatry is the same as committing adultery, because sin places a person under the dominion of Satan.
There is much secret sin today even in the congregations. Pornography is common. Leaders are falling into sin. Abortion is done for the most part to save money.
Money is the root of all evil. (Timotiyos 1/ 1 Timothy  6:10)
All sin enslaves us. Credit cards debts is also one sin that cause great problems. To pay high percent interest  to those people is not been good stewards of Yahweh’s money. The  money we earn is given to us by Yahweh, and we must not waist it.
Melakhim 1/1 Kings 11:40 And Shelomoh sought to kill Yarov’am, but Yarov’am rose up and fled to Mitsrayim, to Shishaq sovereign of Mitsrayim, and was in Mitsrayim until the death of Shelomoh

He should have remembered what Yahweh had told him. (Melakhim 1/1 Kings 9:2-9)  Yahweh had warned him, but his love for many idolater women caused his fall. And in  Melakhim 1, 11:1-13 we read the reason of his falling and the Word of Yahweh to him.
Sin had damaged so much Shelomoh that he actually sought to kill the person Yahweh rose up  to rule in Yisra’el.  Indeed all his wisdom was lost at this point. Satan blinds  the sinner.
Qorin’tiyim 2 /2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the mighty one of this age again has blinded the minds of the unbelieving.
Satan never changes. What he began in the Garden of Eden, he continues to do today.
Twice Yahweh appeared to Shelomoh, but he forgot the Word. (Melakhim 1/I Kings 3: 5-14; Melakhim 1 /1 Kings 9: 2-9)

It is like many Christians today who say they read the Bible, and they know all about it, but if you ask them a question they do not know the answer, because they read the word casually, and not enough. The Word must be read continually, for it is our daily bread from the Father in Heaven.   We cannot forget the Word of Yahweh, for by the Word we will be judged!
Yochanan/John 12:48 “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him, -the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”
We must meditate on the Eternal Word of Yahweh for in them we find truth, direction, life, peace, guidance, strength, comfort and so forth. We cannot listen to a message today and forget soon after. We must earnestly seek Him, and we will find Him in His Word and through prayer. If we do not do that which is little, we will lose much, and that is: our relationship with our Savior. The word must be sought out like a pearl or a diamond, and it takes time and a desire to know Him.
Shelomoh, it seems, forgot the Torah.
Devarim/Deut. 7:2-6 And when Yahweh your Elohim gives them over to you, you shall smite them and put them under the ban, completely. Make no covenant with them, and show them no favour. 3 And do not intermarry with them- you do not give your daughter to his son, and you do not take his daughter for your son, 4 for he turns your sons away from following Me, to serve other mighty ones. Then the displeasure of Yahweh shall burn against you and promptly destroy you. 5 But this is what you do to them: Break down their altars, and destroy their pillars, and cut down their Asherim, and burn their carved images with fire.  6 For you are a qodesh people to Yahweh your Elohim. Yahweh your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
Shemoth/Exodus 34:12-14 Guard yourself, lest your make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going lest it be a snare in your midst. 13 but break down their altars, and destroy their pillars, and out down their Asherim- 14 for you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for Yahweh, whose Name is jealous, is a jealous El.
Shelomoh brought the pagan wives to Yisra’el instead, and he built high places for them so they could burn their children there to their gods, and then he also joined them! Did they burn his children?
Qorin’tiyim 2/2 Corinthians 6:14  Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness/ And what fellowship has light with darkness?  15 And what agreement has Mashiach with Beliya’al. Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
Devarim/Deut. 17:14-20 “When you come to the land which Yahweh your Elohim is giving you, and shall possess it and shall dwell in it, and you shall say, ‘Let me appoint a sovereign over me like all the gentiles that are around me,’ 15 you shall certainly appoint a sovereign over you whom Yahweh  your Elohim shall choose.  Appoint a sovereign over you from among your brothers, you are not allowed to appoint a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.  16 Only he is not to increase horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Mitsrayim to increase horses, for Yahweh has said to you, ‘Do not return that way again.’ 17 And he is not to increase wives for himself, lest his heart turn away, nor is he to greatly increase silver and gold for himself.
He forgot those commandments and also the very words that Yahweh spoke to him personally.
In Melakhim 1/1 Kings 3:5-14 Shelomoh received the blessings of Yahweh more than any other human being. He asked for understanding, and he got it together with riches and honor. What an awesome blessing he got from Yahweh! And then he received a warning, but it did not enter the heart of Shelomoh. He loved too many women, and they loved too many false gods who took him away from the pure worship to Yahweh.
Melakhim 1/1 Kings 9: 1-9 And it came to be, when Shelomoh had finished building the House of Yahweh and the house of the sovereign, and all the desire of Shelomoh which he was pleased to do,  2 that Yahweh  appeared to Shelomoh the second time, as He had appeared to him at Gib’on.  3 And Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me. I have qadosh this House which you have built to put My Name there forever, and My eyes and My heart shall always be there.  4 and you, if you walk before Me as your father Dawid walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, if you guard My laws and My right-rulings,  5 Then I shall establish the throne of your reign over Yisra’el forever, as I promised Dawid your father, saying, ‘There is not to cease a man of yours on the throne of Yisra’el.  6  If you at all turn back, you or your sons, from following Me, and do not guard My Commands, My Laws, which I have put before you, but shall go and serve other mighty  ones and bow yourselves to them, 7 then  I shall cut off Yisra’el from the face of the land which I have given them, and send away from My presence this House which I have qadosh for My Name.  And Yisra’el shall be a proverb and a mockery among all the peoples.”
Yahweh is not human; He is Spirit and He is the self-existing Elohim who created us inferior to Himself. We need to walk daily in the fear of Yahweh, especially when temptations harass us. Holy fear will prevent us falling into sin.
Mishley/Proverbs 3:7 Fear Yahweh and depart from evil.
Mishley 8:13 The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil.
It is obvious that Shelomoh did no longer fear Yahweh.
Shelomoh’s died, and his son, Rechav’am, became king.
Melakhim 1, 12:1   Rechav’am went to Shekhem, for all Yisra’el had gone to Shekhem to appoint him to reign.
I will continue on my next message.
Shalom, shalom

Sunday, March 26, 2017

Shalom my friends!

Today I am going to remind the reader that Sunday is the beginning of the seventh day of the week. It does not matter to Yahweh if you we have been taught that Sunday is the Sabbath. He does not care of what our teachers have told us, He only cares that we obey the Word He has spoken. He has instructed us, and He expects us, His children, to obey Him. He very much cares about the fact that He has given us instructions and that we supposed to obey them.  It is for our own benefit if we obey Him or not. We can make many excuses, but they will not have any power at all, not now,  and not even on Judgment Day!  In fact that is the reason He so desires that we obey, because we will be judged by His every Word.
Yochanan/John 12:48 “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My Words, has that which judges him: the Word that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day.
This verse should cause us to have a holy fear of Yahweh. Yahoshua is the only Ben of Yahweh, and He is our Saviour, (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 43:11; Luqas 2:11).  He is the Word of Elohim, (Yochanan 1:1), and when we see Him we see the Father.
Philippos (Philip) had a question about the Father, and Yahoshua answered him well.
Yochanan 14: 7-11 “If you had known Me, you would have known My father too. From now on you know Him, and have seen.” 8 Philippos said to Him, “Adonai, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Yahoshua said to him “Have I been with you so long, and you have not known Me, Philippos? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how do you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The Words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the father in Me, otherwise believe Me because of the works themselves.”
The Word He has spoken is as the Word of Yahweh. Therefore we know His Torah will be our judge on the last day.
For if we choose to continue to obey the rules and traditions of men, than Yahweh  is no longer our Elohim.
We must choose today whom we are going to obey. If we obey YHWH, we be blessed in this life and after; but if we choose to obey the false teachers, then they have become our god, and we will certainly be under the curse! (Devarim/Deut. 28)
What we choose today, determines our future; if we do well, we are blessed, if we do not do well, we are cursed. I believe that I have made this matter very clear. Obey Yahweh today and be blessed!
I have already mentioned in other messages that the day begins at sundown, not at midnight, and with that understanding we know that the Shabbat begins on the sixth day after sundown, that is on the pagan evening day called Friday. There are not many rules concerning the Sabbath, and we will begin to talk about them today.
Shemoth/Exodus 35:1-3 “And Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el together, and said to them, ‘These are the Words which YHWH (Yahweh) has commanded you to do:
2 “Work is done for six days, but the on the seventh day it shall  qodesh( holy) to you,  a Shabbat of rest to Yahweh. Anyone doing any work on is put to death.
3 Do not  kindle a  fire in any of your dwellings on the Shabbat day.”
What this is saying is that we cannot work on the Shabbat. It is a day or rest unto Yahweh.  The prohibition about kindling the fire, I firmly believe, concerns cooking, which involved collecting wood, and preparing the fire, the food, and cleaning after.  If a person does all these things, cannot rest. The wife usually would be working all day as usual to fix the meals for the family together with her maids. Yahweh cares about men and women. He does not want us to word on His day of rest. He desires to commune with us individually as with the men.
Instead we must prepare the meals the day before, on the sixth day, which is called Friday. We must be organized and prepare meals that do not need cooking on the Sabbath. And the Sabbath we enjoy our rest and have fellowship with our brethren, and with our Elohim.  By doing this, all the family has the rest needed on the seventh day of the week. By the First day we are ready to attend to our work again with new vigor. We have been refreshed physically and spiritually. The Sabbath is not a burden, but a blessing that Yahweh has given us. We should be very grateful and rejoice in His Presence on this special day.
Shemoth/Exodus 16:21-30 “So they gathered it every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted.
22 “And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
23 The he said to them, “This is what YHWH has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Shabbat rest, a holy Shabbat to YHWH. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’
24 So they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.
25 Then Moses said, “Eat that today, or today is a Shabbat to YHWH; today you will not find it in the field.
26 Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Shabbat, there will be none.”
But some people disobey the command!
27 Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.
28 And YHWH said to Mosheh, ‘How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?
29 See! For YHWH has given you the Shabbat; therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. “
30 So the people rested on seventh day.”
I do not believe that it is very difficult to understand. We must prepare ahead of time. He commands us to take time out. Our bodies need that rest. Yahweh created us to give us time out. And this time is His time. He does not want us to be busy washing clothes, shopping, cleaning the yard, washing our cars etc. No, we need the rest, and if we obey Him we will live long on the earth and in good health.
The Shabbat is a Set Apart Day, a Holy Day unto Yahweh, not Sunday, which is the first day of the week. He has given us this time to be connected with Him in a very special way.
It is for our good, as all the commandments are, and they are not to hurt us or place us into bondage, but to keep us free from the enemy attacks that come through disobedience.  Should meeting with the Creator every week on HIS TIME be a burden to any of us? Absolutely not, not for me!
If it is a burden to you the reader, then I question your relationship with Him. To obey should be a pleasure.
Once a person begins to keep the Shabbat Day Holy, he or she will never go back to the old ways. That person will experience such rest by the end of the Shabbat that he/she already thinks about celebrating on the next Shabbat! Yes, keeping the Sabbath day holy it is a celebration with our Creator: YHWH.
By keeping the Shabbat we are declaring that Yahweh is more important than all the other activities. He is honored by our obedience, and we place Him in a place of high reverence. By keeping the Sabbath we are declaring that He is indeed number one in our lives. If we disobey this commandment, we are saying that the Torah is outmoded, and He is no longer the same, yesterday, today, and forever. But if we do that, we are deceiving ourselves.
Nechemyah/Nehemiah 13:15-22  “In those days I saw people in Yahudah treading wine presses on the Shabbat, and bringing in sheaves, and loading donkeys with wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of burdens, which they brought into Yerushalayim/Jerusalem on the Shabbat day. And I warned them about the day on which they were selling provisions.
16 Men of Tyre dwelt there also, who brought in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on the Shabbat to the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
17 Then I contended with the nobles of Yahudah/Judah, and said to them, ‘What evil things is this that you do, by which you profane the Shabbat day?
18 Did not your fathers do this, and did not our Elohim bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Israel by profaning the Shabbat.
19 So it was, at the gates of Yerushalayim/Jerusalem, as it began to be dark before the Shabbat, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and charged that they must not be opened till after the Shabbat.  Then I posted some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Shabbat day.
20 Now the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares lodged outside Yerushalayim/Jerusalem once or twice.
21 Then I warned them, and said to them, “Why do you spend the night around the wall? If you do so again, I will lay hands on you!” From that time on they came no more on the Shabbat.
22 And I commanded the Lewites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Shabbat day.”NKJV  (I added the correct Hebrew names as I always do)
This passage is self explanatory as all the Scriptures. Yahudah/Judah went into captivity into Babylon because she did not keep the Shabbat. Now they were repeating the same sins. This incident probably took place around the Feast of Sukkoth, which is the time of harvesting the grapes. But we cannot break the Shabbat not matter if it is harvest time or not. Yahweh is the Master of the Harvest, and He is our Provider. The only way we can be blessed is by our obedience.
Buying and selling on the Shabbat is sin. The commandment is for all creation, for every human being, not only for the Hebrew descendant of Avraham.
The Jews did not exist yet as a religious group when YHWH-Yahweh- created the world. Only Adam existed then, and he taught all his descendents. We are responsible to keep all the 10 commandments, and we cannot disobey anyone of them because we have been taught wrong.  We can read the Word and know the truth.
Devarim/Deuteronomy 15:1-2 “At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called Yahweh’s release.”
I do not know if Yisra’el is keeping this command or not.  If they would obey the commandment they would be blessed, according to the Scriptures. I do not want to speak at length on his subject, but you may want to get more information from the experts. The problem is that Yisra'el went into captivity because they did not keep this command. America has never kept it therefore the farmers keep putting synthetic fertilizer to produce more. If instead they would keep the Shemitah then we would not need to be poisoned with their stuff.
Soon the Messiah, Yahoshua, will return, and then the whole world will be under His authority, and everyone will be obeying Him. But are we all going to be with Him in Yerushalayim?
Let us pray for this commandment to be kept, even in Yisra’el, for we love Israel and want to see her blessed. Let us pray also that your nation and mine to keep the weekly Shabbat, and the seventh year Shabbat.
The change begins with one individual, than others will also follow. Let us not be fearful of living out our faith. Amen.

“Ye-varekhekha YHWH (Yahweh)  ve-yishmerekha
Ya’er YHWH panav ‘eleykha vichunnekha
Yisa YHWH panav ‘eleykha ve yasem lekha shalom.”   Bemidbar 6:24-26
Yahweh bless you and keep you,
Yahweh make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
Yahweh lift up His countenance upon you, and give you Shalom.
(Bemidbar /Numbers 6:24-26)
If you do not know Yahweh as your Creator and His only Son Yahoshua who died for your sin, you can call upon His Name today and be saved.  Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow it could be too late.
If you are Hebrew please pray the following prayer.
“Barukh HaBa ba’Shem YHWH!”  “Blessed is He Who is coming in the Name of YHWH!”
“…Hoshia-na! “Barukh is He who is coming in the Name of Yahweh! Barukh is the coming reign of our father Dawid – in the Name of Yahweh  Hoshia-na in the highest!”
Mark 11:9-10 HS
