Shophetim/Judges 6: 1 And the children of Yisra’el did evil in the eyes of Yahweh, and Yahweh gave them into the hand of Midyan for seven years, 2 and the hand of Midyan was strong against Yisra’el. And before the faces of the Midyanites the children of Yisra’el made for themselves the refuges which are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.  3 And it came to be, whenever Yisra’el  had sown , that Midyan would come up, and Amaleq and the people of the East would come up against them, 4  and encamp against them and destroy the increases of the land as far as Azzah, and leave no food in Yisra’el, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. 5 For they came up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts. And they and their camels were without number. And they came into the land to destroy it. 6 Thus Yisra’el was brought very low because of Midyan, and the children of Yisra’el cried out to Yahweh.
The children of Yisra’el did not remember what Yahweh had done for their fathers, and now they did what they wanted to do. They completely stopped serving Him. “They did evil in the eyes of Yahweh.” Can you imagine how Yahweh felt? How do we feel when your children turn against you? I have seen some sons trying to beat their mother, and dishonor their father. This is also a major sin. The Command says: “Respect your father and your mother; so that your days are prolonged upon the land which YHWH your Elohim is giving you.” Shemoth 20:12
Yahweh is our Heavenly Father.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 64:8 “And now, O YHWH, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You our potter. And we are all the work of Your hand.”
Yahoshua taught us how to pray to our Father in Heaven.
“Our Father who is in the shamayim, (heaven), let You Name be qodesh (holy). Mattithyahu 6:9
You do good to read this prayer completely.
I know personally I disrespected my mother at least once, and I continually regret it.  How could I do such thing? But sin at times is greater than the love we have for Yahweh, our Father in heaven, and is also greater than the love we have for our parents! This is very sad indeed!
When that incident took place I was far from Yahweh as Yisra’el was at the time Gid’on/Gideon was called. When man forgets Yahweh he becomes the worst it can be.  The Torah is our protection, and without it we are vulnerable to any sort of sin.
Yisra’el, as all other nations, worshiped other gods.
Shemoth/Genesis 20:1-5 “And Elohim spoke all these Words, saying, 2 “I am YHWH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. 3 You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the shamayim above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth,  5 you do to bow down to them nor serve them. For I, YHWH your Elohim, am a Jealous El, visiting the wickedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My Commands.
Yisra’el had a Marriage Ceremony with the Creator of the Universe on Mount Sinai. It would take too long speaking in detail about this fact at this time, but let me share what the Scriptures say.
Shemoth 19:5-8 ‘And now if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My Covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the people, for all the earth is mine-6 and you shall be to Me a reign of kohenim (priests) and a qodesh (holy) nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’el.” 7 And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and put before them all these words which YHWH commanded him. 8 And all the people answered together and said, “All that YHWH has spoken we shall do.” So Mosheh brought back the words of the people to YHWH.”
Yahweh took Yisra’el as His own wife. Yisra’el agreed to His request, or marriage proposal. Next He told Mosheh to prepare them for His coming. They had to be made qadosh, holy, and wash their clothes, (just as a bride does in Yisra’el), they also had to abstain from have intimacy with their wives. (Shemoth 19 10-15)
On the third day He came in glory on Mount Sinai.
Shemoth 19:16 “And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And the sound of the ram’s horn was very loud, and all the people who were in the camp trembled.”
Mosheh was then called to go up to Him, and He sent him down again to warn the people not to touch the mountain or they would die. His presence was on that mountain, just like heaven had open up and sin would have destroyed them if they only touch the mountain. His Majesty was revealed that day.
Then He gave the Ten Commands, or the Ketubah, on Mount Sinai.  Such Commands were broken over and over again.
Yahweh took Yisra’el to be His wife.   Just as a Husband loves His wife, so He loves her. We learn about His love for Yisra’el as we read the book of Hoshea (Hosea) besides many other passages. He used this prophet to reveal to us how much He loves us. His love for Yisra’el is passionate and eternal. He loves us just as a husband loves his wife.  Hoshea had to marry a prostitute and have children by her. Yahweh married Yisra’el even though He knew that she would become unfaithful to Him. The book of Hoshea reveals His love but also the punishment he would inflict on her. Yahweh knew Yisra’el would go astray but He would never completely forsake her. Yisra’el is like the apple of His eye.
Devarim/Deuteronomy 32:10 “He found him in a wilderness, and in a wasted, howling desert. He encompassed him, He made him understand, He watched over him as the apple of His eye.”
Beware to those who come against Yisra’el.
Zekharyah/Zechariah 2:8 "For thus said YHWH of Hosts- for the sake of esteem he sent me to the gentiles which plunder you: “For he who touches you touches the apple of My eye.”
Yahweh chose Yisra’el not because she was better than anyone else, in fact she may be the least, but He has chosen her to reveal His Name to the world, and to let the world know who He is. Even in their failures He is glorified. And with her life He is teaching the Nations whom He also loves. He created all mankind and He desires to have fellowship with the whole world.
Therefore it is nothing out of the ordinary that when Yisra’el cries out for Help, He is ready to help and fight for her. (Shophetim 6:6).
Yisrael sent first a prophet to the leaders of Yisra’el
Shophetim 6: 7-10 And it came to be, when the children of Yisra’el cried out to Yahweh because of Midyan, 8 that YHWH sent a navi (prophet) to the children of Yisra’el, who said to them, “Thus said YHWH Elohim of Yisra’el, ’I have brought you up from Mitsrayim and I brought you out of the house of bondage, 9 and I delivered you  out of the hand of the Mitsrites and out of the hand of all your oppressors, and drove them out before you and gave you their land.  10 ‘and I said to you,  I am YHWH your Elohim , do not fear the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell, and you have not obeyed my voice.”
Yahweh first encourages them, and then He sends them the Messenger. We believe that Messenger was a pre-incarnation of Yahoshua.
I must finish this message now, and if you are Jewish you have a great heritage and you know your call is to the nations. He blesses you to bless the nations.
And if you are not Jewish, but a foreigner to the Commonwealth of Yisra’el, know that Yahweh loves you just as much as He loves Yisra'el, and His heart longs for you to get to know Him. Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him.
Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 29:12-13 Then you shall call on Me, and shall come and pray to Me, and I shall listen to you. 13 And you shall seek, and shall find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Yochanan/Johan 3:16 “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Ben, (Son), so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting chai. (life).
Shalom, shalom!
Shema’ Yisra’el YHWH ‘Eloheinu YHWH echad
Hear Israel Yahweh our Elohim, Yahweh is one.

Today I will bring to conclusion speaking of this great man of Elohim. His life is an encouragement and challenging to each of us. All of us have experienced failure in one way or another. We want to live by faith, but at times our faith fails us. We may begin to look at circumstances instead of the Author of Life who can change circumstances. But once the Ruach ha’Qodesh came into our heart, things began to change for the better. Our life lost the feeling of been bored, and moved quickly into the adventure of the supernatural that we were created to be. Yes, we are created as spirit beings and we supposed to walk the supernatural life as Yahoshua did. We may still miss the mark of perfection, some time, but quickly we find our way back to Him, who leads us and guides us into “His Way”.
We saw Kepha in his worst moments, but now we see him walking in the miraculous. He changed from being quick to speak, to a man full of the wisdom of Yahweh and always ready to listen to His Savior and to those in need. What a change! After the Ruach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) came into his life, he no longer feared man, but boldly spoke truth to the faces of his enemies, unashamed and an afraid. What a man! Through his life we learn that nothing is impossible to us if indeed we believe and are full of the same Ruach ha’Qodesh as he was.
Ma’aseh 9:32-35And it came to be, as Kepha was passing all throughout, that he also came down to the qodeshim (saints) who were dwelling at Lod. (Lydda) 33 And there he found a certain man named Aineas, who had been bedridden for eight years, being paralytic.  34 And Kepha said to him, “Aineas, Yahoshua heals you! Rise up and make your bed.” And immediately he rose up. 35 And all those dwelling at Lod and Sharon saw him and turned to the Adon.”
Kepha had the anointing and power of Elohim in Him, and did not waste time praying long faithless prayers. He learned from his Master how to command the sickness to leave, and it would leave. All who came to him, or those he visited, were healed, and even the dead were raised to life again!
In Yapho (Joppa) there lived a talmid named Tabitha, which means Dorcas. She died and while alive she had done many good deeds. Her friends loved her so much!  Since Lydda was near Yapho they sent for Kepha, and now let us see what took place. When Kepha arrived they were weeping and showing him the garments she had made.  But he sent them all away. I suppose that weeping was not what he wanted to hear at that time. He needed faith, not tears. He also did not want unbelievers with him as he would minister to the dead woman.
Faithless people can prevent a miracle to take place. I have witness this fact many times during prayer meetings.
Ma’aseh 9:40-41 “But Kepha sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and seeing Kepha, she sat up.  41 And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And calling the qodeshim and widows, he presented her alive. 4 And it became known throughout  all Yapho, and many believed on the Adon.”
What we see here is a pattern. First the miracle, then the people believe and receive the Mashiach. We in America preach first, and then pray for the sick. We think that we need to create faith in the listeners in order for them to be healed. But Kepha did not do that. People believed because of the miracles. Maybe we should change our ways of ministering, for it could be that we have no faith and we need the word spoken before ministering.  In fact when I just walk on the street I ask the person that I perceive needs healing: “Can I pray for you? When that person agrees, I take authority over the sickness and expect the healing to come forth. I do not pray long prayers. Long prayers are prayed by those who do not believe. At times traveling may come forth in the Spirit, but this is not the norm.
In Ma’aseh 10: 9-12 we read the account of Kepha as he was waiting for his lunch and became hungry he fell into a trance about 12 noon, which is the sixth Hebrew hour. Then the heavens opened up  and  he saw a vision of a great sheet  coming down to him which was filled with unclean animals.
Ma’aseh 10:13 And a voice came to him, “Rise up, Kepha, slay and eat.”
This was a big problem for the Kosher Kepha. He had never eaten anything that was unclean as Wayyiqra 11 very specifically teaches us. Among the animals we cannot eat are all those who do not chew the cud and do not have cloven hooves, which include many animals together with the pig. No ham can be eaten, for it is unclean and it is not good for our health. The good meat to eat is only from some vegetarian animals, which are only a few, the lamb, goat, deer, ox etc. We also are forbidden to eat animals that crawl, and many who fly. From the ocean we can only eat fish with fins and scales. Yahweh created all the animals, but not all animals are to be eaten. He made most animals to clean the environment, as the lobster, shrimp, clams, etc. How could a good Hebrew man like Kepha eat such things? No way!
Ma’aseh 10:14 “But Kepha said, “Not at all, Adonai! Because I have never eaten whatever is common or unclean.” 15 And a voice came to him again the second time, “What Elohim has cleansed you do not consider common.” And this took place three times, and the vessel was taken back to the shamayim (Heaven)”
Most churches have this story misunderstood because they do not understand that for a Jew the gentiles or uncircumcised were considered unclean, like unclean meat, dogs, etc.  And this is the reason the Christians still eat unclean meat and are sick. Many die young because they fail to obey. The pig did not change after the cross!  Wayyiqra/Leviticus 11!  While the Hebrew or Jewish people are much healthier lives because they keep the commandments.
In this case Yahweh spoke to Kepha symbolically because he did understand very fast that Yahweh was not talking about animals, but uncircumcised human being. This episode took place about ten years after Shavuot, and the gospel was not yet going to the nations as Yahoshua had commanded them.  Yahweh had to give this graphic vision to Kepha in order for them, the talmidim, to evangelize the Gentiles. You see, the church did not start at Shavuot, as they teach, but many, many years later.  Even when Kepha obeyed the vision and went to Cornelius it did not begin the Church as we know it.  At that time only began the conversion of the Gentiles. Finally the Messianic Jews began to obey the command to go into the whole world and preach the gospel. (Mark 16:15-18).  The new believers did not separate from the Jews, but kept the Sabbath, and all the Feasts and the Dietary Rules together with them. They were not separated to form a new religion as many imply. The new believers as Cornelius were added to the Messianic Talmidim (disciples). They worshiped together and studied the Torah together in the synagogue.
Cornelius also had a vision as it is recorded in Ma’aseh 10: 1-8 Cornelius, the first Gentile convert, was a captain of the Italian Regiment. He loved Elohim, and did many good works, and  prayed continually. Yahweh noticed his good deeds, and listened to his prayers; therefore He sent an angel to talk to him and told him to call Kepha. He then sent the men to ask Kepha to come to him. This was a huge step for Kepha, for Jews did not go fellowship with Gentiles.
Soon after Kepha saw the vision and still doubted about the meaning, the men who Cornelius sent to him arrived, and asked him to go with them to Cornelius house. He went with them.
Ma’aseh 10:17 -33 tell us what took place. You do good to read it all. The fact is the Kepha understood now that Yahweh is no respecter of person and He comments out loud by saying:   Truly I see that Elohim shows no partiality. 35 but in every nation, he who reveres  Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.  36 He sent the  Word to the children of Yisra’el, bringing the Good news; peace through Yahoshua ha’Mashiach! He is Adon of all.”Ma’aseh 10 34 – 35
As Kepha continues to share the Good News of Yahoshua, the Ruach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) falls on all the people and they spoke in tongues as Kepha and the others did on Shavuot (Pentecost)!
At this point he fully understood the vision. To his shocking surprising Gentiles would also receive the gospel of salvation, even though they were not in Covenant with Yahweh and did not carry the sign of the Covenant in heir flesh: the circumcision.
Peter was known for the miraculous. When he passed on the road even his shadow healed the sick.
Ma’aseh 5: 14- 16 And more believers were added to the Adon, large numbers of both men and women, 15  so that they brought  the sick out  into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Kepha, passing by, might fall on some of them.  16 A large number also gathered  from the surrounding cities to Yerushalayim, bringing sick ones and those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.”
Yahoshua said to the talmidim and to all of his believers: “Go into all the world and proclaim the good News to every creature. 16 He who has believed and has been immersed, shall be saved, but he who has not believed shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall accompany the ones who believe: In My name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with renewed tongues,  18 they shall take up snakes, and if they drink anything deadly it shall by no means hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall get well.”Ma’aseh 16:15-18
Of course it is Yahoshua and not Kepha or you and me who does the miracles. Humans are incapable to change anything. We cannot even kill or raise a fly, much less heal someone of any deadly sickness! But He said that we would do greater works than He did if we believed.
Yochanan /John 14:12-14 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he shall do also. And greater than these he shall do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the father might be esteemed in the Ben (Son).  14 If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it.”
Persecution continued to arise and they killed Ya’aqov, the brother of Yochanan, and then they also arrested Kepha, but Yahweh sent an angel to set him free.  Ma’aseh 12:1-11.
Kepha has written  Kepha 1 and Kepha 2 (1 and 2 Peter). He fulfilled his calling and He died as Yahoshua forth told Him. He died crucified upside down, for he did not consider worthy to die as Yahoshua His Savior had died. We will see him in heaven, those of us who trust in Yahoshua to keep us till the end.
From the life of Kepha I have learned a great deal. My desire is that I also will be faithful to the end and walk in obedience as he did. Miracles are to be witnessed by everyone who believes. May we be counted worthy to be used in the kingdom as he was.
Shalom, shalom

 “Yahweh bless you and keep you;
Yahweh make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
Yahweh lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
“So they shall put My Name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
Bemidbar (Numbers) 6:24-26-27
Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim.”
By substituting the Name we are taking away and adding to the Word. Let us not be found in sin.  Amen.

Ma’aseh/Acts 2:1 “And when the Day of the Festival of Shavuoth (Feast of Pentecost) had come, they were all with one mind in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from the shamayim, (heaven) as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Ruach ha’Qodesh and began to speak with other tongues, as the Ruach gave them to speak.”
First we must notice that the talmidim were together in one place and there were also women. It could not be their own home for they were about 120 people. That place it had to be the Temple because that Day was the yearly Feast of Shavuot. When we continue to read from verses 5 the following:  there were Yahudim, or Jews, Dedicated men from every nation under the shamayim.” Those Yahudim /Jewish men came to keep the commandment of Yahweh as it is written in the Torah.
Devarim/Deut. 16:16 “Tree times a year all your males appear before Yahweh you Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the festival of Matstsoth, and at the Festival of Shavuot, and at the Festival of Sukkoth. And none should appear before Yahweh empty handed.” (They brought their tithes and offerings)
We believe that they were in the Temple to celebrate the Feast, and because this is the year Yahoshua was killed and rose again and the Temple was destroyed later in 70 AD.
Ma’aseh 2:5 “Now in Yerushalayim there were dwelling Yahudim, dedicated men from every nation under the shamayim.”
The Scriptures state that the crowd was confused for they heard them speak each in his own language.
What took place that Day was that the Ruach ha’Qodesh, (Holy Spirit)  came in the form of wind, and fire, which is symbolic of the Ruach (Spirit, wind), and Fire which represents the very presence of Yahweh and His Holiness.  This was a new phenomena that they never read in the Torah. They knew about the burning bush, (Shemoth/Exodus 3:2), and they read Shemoth 19:18. They also read Bereshith 15:18 when the smoking oven and the burning torch passed between the slaughtered animals, but they never heard anyone speaking in language they never learned! This must have sounded very strange to them, just as it still sounds strange to many people today that have never received the Shavuot experience!  The language in the Spirit is a sign to the unbeliever. I, of course, have spoken in tongues, and in several languages. It is not a strange phenomena to me, or to the millions who have experienced the Coming of the Ruach ha’Qodesh, but it is strange to those who have no knowledge of Elohim in their lives.
At first those Yahudim thought they were witnessing a mass of drunken people! But at this point Kepha (Peter) open His mouth and explained what was taking place. This was the beginning of His ministry after the infilling of the death and resurrection of His Master, Yahoshua. The next verse describes what would take place after the Ruach ha’Qodesh would came upon the talmidim (disciples).
Ma’aseh 1:8 “ But you shall receive power when the Ruach ha’Qodesh has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Yerushalayim, and in all Yahudah and Shomeron, (Samaria) and to the end of the earth.”
Some people say that Yahweh fulfilled YeshaYahu 28:11 which states: “For with a jabbering lip and a foreign tongue He speaks to this people, 12 to whom He said, “This is the rest, give rest to the weary,” and, “This is the refreshing.” But they would not hear”
Kepha preached his first recorded message and 3000 thousand Yahudim people were saved and baptized. Ma’aseh 2:41)
Those people were not Gentiles; the “church” did not begin at that time. The corrupt church began with Constantine who mixed truth with error and caused the true followers of Yahoshua to get away from keeping the Sabbath and the Feasts and everything he thought to be “Jewish.”
That year Yahweh fulfilled the Feast of Shavuot that they were keeping, but did not fully understand what it was about. All they knew about that feast was that the Torah had been given to them on Mount Sinai.  However, all the Feasts have an Historical event, but also a future fulfillment.
We read in Ma’aseh 3:1-11 that Kepha went with Yochanan to the Miqdash (Sanctuary) at the hour of prayer and there was a lame man from birth. He looked at Kepha and Yochanan expecting to receive some money. But Kepha looking at him said: “Look at us.” “I do not have silver and gold, but what I do possess, this I give you: In the Name of Yahoshua ha’Mashiach of Natsareth, rise up and walk.”
You see it was much more profitable for the lame man to be healed than to receive a few coins that could possibly help him for one day of his life.
The same way today it is better to pray for a person to get a good job than to give him welfare. A young person needs to work and be productive not to be begging for bread all the days of his life, at the expense of those who work and pay taxes. Yahweh wants to restore us to be healthy citizen not dependant beggars!
Of course that day Kepha and Yochanan became a target from the religious leaders.  Kepha preached that the miracle was not done by their own power- but by the power of Yahoshua whom “you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilatus when he had decided to release Him.” (Ma’aseh 3:13)
Kepha spoke with boldness.  He old Kepha was no longer alive, now he was a new person and would never again deny his Master.
Ma’aseh 3:14-19 “But you denied the Qodesh and Righteous One, and asked that a man, a murderer, be granted you. 15 “But you killed the Leader of chai, (life), whom Yahweh raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16 And by the belief in His Name, this one whom you see and know, His Name made strong, and the belief which comes through Him has given him this perfect healing before all of you. 17 And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, as your rulers did too.  18 But this is how Yahweh has filled what He had announced beforehand through the mouth of all he nevi’im (prophets), that His Mashiach was to suffer. 19 Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Adon, 20 and that He sends Yahoshua ha’Mashiach , pre-appointed for you….”
Kepha continues to preach until he mentioned that Yahoshua rose from the dead, and the Sadducees, who did not believe in the resurrection had them arrested and put them in jail until the next day. (Ma’aseh 4:1-3 This is the first time Kepha goes to jail. However 5000 thousands more got saved that day! And they were all Yahudim, or Jews. When in jail they were commanded not to speak in that Name.
Ma’aseh 4:18 And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor to teach in the Name of Yahoshua.  19 But Kepha and Yochanan answering them, said, Whether it is right in the sight of Elohim to listen to you more that to Elohim, you judge. 20 For it is impossible for us not to speak of what we saw and heard.”
You must understand that now it was not as before when all the apostle fled when Yahoshua had been caught and taken prisoner. Now they had the very Ruach of Yahweh in their heart, and they were fearless. All intimidation from the leaders did not touch them. They became bold and continued to preach until they gave their lives for their Mashiach!  In fact we read in Ma’aseh 4:24-31 that they went to their own people and prayed, and when they prayed, the place shook and were filled afresh of the Ruach ha’Qodesh and spoke the Word with boldness. What the assemblies of today need is a new infillings of the Ruach in order to be bold and proclaim the truth of the Gospel. This is my prayer for all believers in Mashiach to become as the first talmidim (disciples) were after the coming of the Ruach ha’Qodesh. There are only a few in the world now that may be as Kepha and Yochanan. Let us all cry out for a Divine visitation. Evil times are ahead of us, and we must be equipped to be able to stand the winds of opposition. Now is the time to get ready. Will you get ready? Let us do it together!
Shalom, shalom
Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Tsiyon, (Zion), put on your garments of splendor, O Yerushalayim, the qadosh (holy) city! (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 52:1)
