Today I will continue speaking about the Passover Lamb.
Shemoth (Exodus) 12:15-20 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Indeed on the first day you cause leaven to cease from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that being shall be cut off from Yisra’el.
To be cut off meant that the person who would not obey would no longer be part of the Covenant of Yehovah. It was and is serious business. Yehovah wants us to remember the Feasts for they are the blue print of the life and death of our Saviour, Yeshua ha’Mashiach. Every time we remember, and keep His Feasts, we are in unity with Him. But if we choose to not keep these days we are showing our disrespect to our Elohim by our disobedience.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:6-8 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to Yahweh; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall have a Holy Convocation; you shall do no customary work o it.  8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yehovah for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do not customary work on it.”(See also Devarim (Deut.) 16 3-4, 8, 16-17)
What is the meaning of Unleavened Bread? Who is this Bread?
Yochanan (John) 6:32 Then Yeshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Mosheh (Moses) did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of Elohim is He who comes down from heaven. And give life to the world. 34 Then they said to Him, “Master, give us this bread always.” 35 And Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”
Yeshua is the Unleavened Bread that came down from Heaven.
Qorin’tiyim 2/ 2 (Corinthians) 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of Elohim in Him.
Qorin’tiyim 1/1 Cor.5:6-8… Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore purge the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Mashiach (Messiah), our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Leaven is removed from the house before Pesach (Passover).
At Passover we remove symbolically all leaven from the house. No bread with leaven is allowed in the house of the person who honors the Passover Lamb, Yeshua. This action is a visible reminder of our own life which must be leaven or sin free. We should repent of sin before the feast. Symbolically we should also be immersed in water to be cleansed before Pesach.  Yeshua was sinless, and we His followers, must also live free from sin. When we sin, we must quickly repent, and be washed in the precious Blood of Yeshua, our Passover Lamb. Yehovah will forgive our sin, for the penalty for our sin was already paid when Yeshua, our Pesach Lamb, was crucified. He indeed became sin for us (Qorin’tiyim 2, 5:21) by taking upon Himself the sins of the whole world.
When we receive Yeshua as our Pesach Lamb, and repent from our sins, we acknowledge Him as our Savior, and our Redeemer. Our sins though many, will be removed from our life, and we will receive His righteousness. We do not have to offer any other sacrifice. He is our only Sacrifice which is acceptable to His Father and ours -Yehovah.
Yeshua did pay the penalty of our sin, which is death, (Rom. 3:23; Yechezqel (Ez.) 18:4, 20), but He did not stay dead! As the Blood of the original lamb in Mitsrayim (Egypt) when it was applied to the door spared the life of the people inside the house, so the Precious Blood of Yeshua when applied to our lives will give us life. Yeshua’s blood is alive because He is alive. Only He can and will give us Eternal Life.
Tehillim (Psalms) 22; 16:8-11)
Yeshua rose again on the third day as He prophesied.
Yochanan 6:39 “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise Him up at the last day.
In answer to the Pharisees who wanted to see a sign, He answered…
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:39-40 An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sing of the prophet Yonah. 40 For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Ben of Adam (Son of Man) be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
(See also Matt.16:21; 17:22-23)
Marqos 16:9, 12-18  And having risen in the morning on one of the shabbathoth, He appeared first to Miryam from Magdala, from whom He had cast out seven demons.’12 And after this He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into a field. 13 And they went and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them, either, 14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table. And He reproached their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He was raised. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Good News to every creature. 16 He who has believed and has been immersed, shall be saved, but he who has not believed shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall accompany the ones who believe: In My Name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with renewed tongues,  18 they shall take up snakes, and if they drink anything  deadly  it shall by no means hurt them, they shall lay hands of the sick and they shall get well.”

Yeshua fulfilled all of Yehovah Spring Feasts. The Feast of the First Fruits was fulfilled when He rose from the dead, and because He rose we will also rise again. We are not simple dust, although we were created from the dust of the earth, because Yehovah breathed upon us the Breath of Life,
Bereshith (Genesis) 2:7 And Yehovah Elohim formed the man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. And man became a living being.(HS)
We were created to live forever. Death came because of man’s disobedience. (Bereshith 3). However, Yehovah loves us so much, and He did not permit that we should be alienated from Him forever.  He had a specific plan. He Himself would redeem us.
Yes, we will leave our mortal body, but we will live forever in an incorruptible body. Our spirit will be united with Him forever.
Presently on this planet we have the opportunity to know our Elohim.  He teaches us of His ways. We find out Who He is and what is required of us to inherit eternal life. We learn how much He truly loves us, and He teaches us to love one another. Love is the key principle to live in His Kingdom.
Eventually He will take us to His home to be united with Him forever. Death will have no longer power over our lives.
Qorin’tiyim 1 ( 1Corinthians ) 15:50-58 Now this is say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Elohim; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying, that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to Elohim who give us the victory through our Master Yeshua ha’Mashiach”(NKJV)
Knowing all these things should we not live righteously for Him who saved us? The choice is always ours. What is your choice today?
(Please note that I prefer to use the correct Hebrew Names, since Yeshua and the apostles were Hebrew and had Hebrew names. Names have meaning, while the English names have no meaning.)
