FROM THE BEGINNING: YAHOSHUA

Part 2
Today I continue to speak about our Mashiach Yahoshua also known as Jesus the Messiah.
In my other message we have determined that He is the Ben (Son) of Yahweh. We read that Yahoshua was born in a specific place.  Mikhah prophesied the exact place He would be born.
Mikhah (Micah) 5:2 “But you, Beyth Lechem Ephrathah, you who are little among the clans of Yahudah (Judah), out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler in Yisra’el. And His comings forth are of old, from everlasting.”
This prophecy was fulfilled.
Luqas 2:4-7 And Yoseph also went up from Yahudah, to the city of Dawid, which is called Beyth Lechem, because he was of the house and lineage of Dawid, 5 to be registered with Miryam, who was engaged to him-being pregnant. 6 And it came to be, that while they were there, the days were filled for her o give birth. 7And she gave birth to her first-born Ben, and wrapped Him up, and laid Him down in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in lodging place.”
He is the King of Yisrael for He is the Descendant of king Dawid in the natural, and of the tribe of Yahudah. Yahoshua was of the same city and tribe of King Dawid. He was the prophesied descendant to the Throne of Dawid.
Bereshith 49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Yahudah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
Shiloh is another name for the Mashiach.
We read of His genealogy in the book of Mattithyahu (Matthew) chapter one. However, in the KJV Bible there is a mistake.
Mattithyahu 1:16 “And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of” Mary” of whom was born Jesus (Yahoshua).”
The Hebrew gospel of Mattithyahu is correct as it states that Joseph is the father of Mary not her husband, for Yahoshua was not the Son of Joseph the husband of Mary, but the Son of Yahweh.  He was born of the Ruach haQodesh as it was prophesied. (See Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 7:14)
The translators have done many mistakes in their translations, but hopefully they did only in ignorance. The original gospel of Mattithyahu is correct.
To whom did He come?
We read in the gospel of Mattithyahu the account of a woman of Kena’an who came to seek deliverance for her demon possessed daughter. Yahoshua at first did not want to help her because he said that He was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mattithyahu 15: 24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’el.”
Luqas (Luke) 19:10”for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
He was from the House of Yahudah, and the House of Israel was dispersed. But He came for the whole house of Yisra’el, Yahudah and Ephrayim, who is now in the process of becoming one House. As a whole his own people did not receive Him because it did not conform to their expectations. They were looking for a Mashiach that would deliver them from the Romans. They did not realize they needed a Savior that would set them completely free from their sin forever, if they believed in Him.
He also rebuked them because they added so many traditions of men making the pure Torah almost invisible to the people and very difficult to obey.  (See Mattithyahu 23).
They ignored the word in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of Yahweh your Elohim which I am commanding you.’
The Torah is light
Tehillim (Psalms) 119:105 Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Yochanan 8:12 Therefore Yahoshua spoke to them again saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but possess the light of chai (life).

Religion made it almost impossible for them to see the Living Word of Yahweh. And now the Light of the World was walking among them, but their eyes could not see.
Yahoshua came to fulfill the Scriptures that spoke of Him. He was going to remove their sin by becoming their Pesach or Passover Sacrifice. But they chose to kill Him.
Tehillim (Psalms) 2:1-4 Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.”

Yochanan 11:47-53 So the chief kohenim (priest) and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? Because this Man does many signs. 48 “If we let Him alone like this, they all shall believe in him, and the Romans shall come and take away from us both our place and nation.” 49 And one of them, Qayapha, being kohen ha’gadol (high priest) that year, said to them, “You know naught, 50 neither do you consider that it is better for us that one man die for the people  than that the entire nation should perish.” 51 But he did not say this from himself, but being kohen ha’gadol that year he navu (prophesied) that Yahoshua was about to die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but to gather together into one the children of Elohim who were scattered abroad. 53 So from that day on they plotted to kill Him.
He was rejected!
Yochanan (John) 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
Yahoshua prophesied His own death over and over, but they did not understand.
Luqas 24 7 ‘saying, “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’”NKJV
Luqas 24:46 Then he said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Mashiach to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
The religious leaders, the Pharisees, wanted a sign.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 12:39-40 But He answering said to them,”An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the navi (prophet) Yonah (Jonah). 40 For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so will the Ben of Adam (Son of Man) be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

When did He come to His own people?

He came at the expected time as the angel had foretold to the prophet Dani’el.
Dani’el 9:25-26 “Know, then, and understand: from the going forth of the command to restore and build Yerushalayim until Mashiach the Prince is seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It shall be built again, with streets and a trench, but in times of affliction.  26 And after the sixty-two weeks Mashiach shall be cut off and have naught. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the qodesh place. And the end of it is with fighting until the end.”
All this took place. Yahoshua died for our sins before the destruction of the Temple in 70AD.
His first coming was to the lost sheep of Yisra’el. He was born as a Man in order to be able to be tempted by Satan as a Man, for Adam was tempted, but fell. Yahoshua could to not fall to the lies of satan, and He did not fall, but became our Passover Lamb (Yochanan 1:29) He gave His life for you and me and the whole world. Whoever believes in Him has eternal life.
Yochanan 3:15 For Elohim so loved the world that He gave his only brought-forth Ben (Son), so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting Chai (Life).

 He fulfilled Yeshayahu 53
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 53:1- 12 speaks of the Mashiach who would come to pay the price of the redemption of Yisra’el and of the whole world.  Yahoshua died for our sin.
Zekharyah (Zechariah) 12:9-10 And it shall be in that day that I seek to destroy all the gentiles that come against Yerushalayim.
10 “And I shall pour on the house of Dawid and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers. And they shall look upon even whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born. (cont. 11- 13)
Zekharyah 13:6 “And one shall say to him, “What are these wounds in your hands? And he shall say, ‘Because I was wounded at home by those who love me.’

Yahoshua was crucified and His hands were wounded.
This message cannot contain all the fulfilled prophecies of Mashiach. However, I will continue to speak of Him on my next messages.
Please read the books of Mattithyahu (Matthew) Marqos and Luqas and discover your Mashiach. I cannot speak in detail of all that took place two thousand years ago in Yisra’el concerning the Mashiach in this little message.
However, if you are indeed thirsty for Yahweh and desire to know truth that will change your life, you must read the scriptures from the Book of Bereshith (Genesis) where you will read of
The first prophecy about Him
Bereshith 3:15”And I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed. He shall crush your head, and you shall crush His heel.”
And continue reading to the book of Revelation that is found in the so called “New Testament.”  They will help you to know Him whom you have been looking for all your life. When you find Him, your life will not be the same. Peace, love and joy will manifest in your own life as you receive Yahoshua as your Savior and Master. Eternity will no longer be a question mark in your mind, but a reality to be experienced.
Unless, of course, you already know Him and if you do… then you can also make His Name known all over the world! Please write to me at; shomerhatorah@gmail.com if you have any questions. Thank you.

FROM THE BEGINNING:YAHOSHUA!

Part one
Bereshith/Genesis 1:1 In the beginning Elohim[i] created the shamayim[ii] and the
Yochanan/John  1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, 2 He was in the beginning with Elohim. 3 All came to be through Him,  and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.”
In the Bereshith account we read that Elohim created the heaven and the earth. And in Yochanan 1 we read that the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
We are told there were two persons, but they were together at creation and they were as one Elohim. Let us remember that Elohim is the plural for El, which is God in English.  There is only one Elohim, which manifests Himself in two persons.
YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 45:5 “ I am Yahweh, and there is no other; There is no Elohim besides Me. I will gird you although you have not known Me.”
Devarim 4:35 “To you it was shown, that you might know that Yahweh Himself is Elohim: There is none other besides Him.”
YeshaYahu 45:6 “That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides me. I am Yahweh, and there is no other.”
Bereshith/Genesis 1:26 Then Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
It is obvious that Elohim is more than one single person, but is one Echad or One Unity.
We see this again in the Tanakh, or what is falsely called “Old Testament”, for nothing is Old with our Creator. To call the Tanakh old is absurd, for Yahweh is always in the present, He is Eternal Elohim. He is not old for He lives in another dimension, the dimension called eternity. But translators have put labels on the Scriptures, either in ignorance of our Elohim, or on purpose, we do not know. However, it is causing many problems to believers who think the Tanakh which include the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets is now outdated. It is like calling a tree to be a tree but it does not have roots!
Tehillim /Psalm 2 is a prophetic psalm and speaks to us of our Mashiach.
Tehillim 2:7 “I will declare the decree; Yahweh has said to Me, ‘You are My Ben (Son), Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
How many Hebrew people have read this passage? Many or few? Can we see that Yahweh has a Ben (Son)? His word is forever written in Heaven (Tehillim 119:89), and He cannot lie.
Shemu’el 1/1 Samuel 15:29: “Moreover, the Eminence of Yisra’el does not lie nor relent. For He is not man, that He should relent.
HIS WORD IS PURE
The words of Yahweh[iii] are pure words. Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Let us read also a few powerful words in  Mishley (Proverbs).
Mishley 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists/ Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his Ben’s (Son’s) name, if you know?
Qolasim (Colossians) 1:15-17”He is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
From these few verses of Scriptures we have learned that Yahoshua is the Ben or Son of Yahweh, our Elohim, and that He was at Creation and through Him everything was created and continue to be in power. Without Him we could not exist. He is our very life.  He is not the little baby you see in the manger that somehow became alive on December 25th! He always existed with the Father. Yahoshua  and the Father is one!
Devarim (Deuteronomy)  6:4 “Shema’ Yisra’el, Yahweh Eloheinu, Yahweh Echad.”
In English: “Hear O Israel, Yahweh our Elohim, Yahweh is One.”
He is one Elohim manifested in two forms. The Ruach HaQodesh that was also at creation is the very Spirit of Yahweh who actually comes to live in the believer’s  life when the person gets to know the Creator  personally and believers the Scriptures concerning His only Ben Yahoshua.
Yahoshua became man as result of the fall of Adam, the first man created by Yahweh, as we can read in the first chapter of Bereshith.
Bereshith 1:26 And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the shamayim, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
Please notice : Us, Our, which is plural. Yahweh and the Ben were there creating man and everything that exists, and mentioned above.
HE WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN YOUNG GIRL
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 7:14 Therefore Yahweh Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Ben (Son), and shall call His name Immanuel.
YeshaYahu 9:6-7  For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Ben (Son) is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty Elohim, Everlasting Father, Prince  of Peace.  7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will perform this.
And now let us read from the book of Luke.
Luqas 1:26-33 And in the sixth moth the messenger Gabri’el was sent by Elohim to a city of Galil named Natsareth, 27 to a maiden engaged to a man whose name was Yoseph, of the house of Dawid. And the maiden’s name was Miryam. 28 And the messenger, coming to her, said, “Greetings, favoured one, the Adon is with you Barukh (blessed) are you among women!” 29 But she was greatly disturbed at his word, and wondered what kind of greeting this was.  30 And the messenger said to her, “Do not be afraid, Miryam, for you have found favour with Elohim. 31 “And see, you shall conceive in your womb, and shall give birth to a ben, and call His Name Yahoshua. 32 he shall be great, and shall be called the Ben of the Most High. And Yahweh Elohim shall give Him the throne of His father Dawid. 33 And He shall reign over the house of Ya’aqov forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.”

THE BIRTH OF OUR MASHIACH  YAHOSHUA
Luqas 2:1-7 And it came to be in those days that a decree went out from Kaisar Augustus for all the world to be registered.  2 This took place as a first registration while Quirinius was governing Suria. 3 And all were going to be registered, each one to his own city.  4 And Yoseph also went up from Galil, out of the city of Natsareth to Yahudah , to the city of Dawid, which is called Beyth Lechem, because he was of the house and lineage of Dawid,  5 to be registered with Miryam, who was engaged to him-being pregnant. 6 And it came to be, that while they were there, the days were filled for her to give birth.  7 And she gave birth to her first-born Ben, and wrapped Him up, and laid Him down in a feeding trough, because where was no room for them in a lodging place.
When we continue to read in this chapter we find that the angels came to announce the birth of the Mashiach to the shepherds in the field. (Luqas 2: 8-13). The shepherds were still shepherding their sheep, therefore it was in the fall, not in December. In the winter the animals are gathered into shelter.
December 25 was dedicated to the birth of all sun gods, but later on religion combined  the two days as though they were one god.
Yahweh has nothing to do with sun god worship. But Christmas is a false day dedicated to His only Ben, Yahoshua. This is not correct, therefore it is a lie.  He is probably actually  born during the Fall Feasts. However, Yahweh never told us to celebrate the birthday of His Ben, for His Ben is eternal. As mentioned above He always existed with the Father. This must be cleared once and for all. We cannot celebrate him on a pagan feast. He is holy.  But religion has mixed truth with error, as always.  This is what happen when we separate the Tanakh from the Messianic Writings which they called “New Testament.”
True believer must not celebrate the birth in the flesh of our Savior on the known birthday of the sun gods!  Yahoshua always existed with the Father!
Let the sun god worshippers adore the sun, but we cannot mix our worship with them.
Our Mashiach has nothing to do with sun gods, He is the Ben of Elohim, He created the sun. the sun does not answer prayer, and it does not speak to us because is deaf and dumb, and everyone who worships it is also deaf and dumb! Each sun god worshiper needs to be awakening to reality.  The sun is obeying Elohim, and does only what is called to do, to shine the light during the day (Bereshith 1:15-18).
We know of the birth  of Mashiach when we consider the birth of Yochanan. But I will not go into details about this now.
Yahoshua is the descendant the throne of Dawid, and was born at the time expected according to the prophets.
For today I will stop writing, but humbly I ask you, the reader, to search the Scriptures and know that our Mashiach, or our Messiah, has come into this world to save us from our sins.
I will continue on my next message.

[i] Elohim the Hebrew title of our Creator that we call God in English.
[ii] Shamayim is Hebrew for heavens.
[iii] Yahweh is the correct Hebrew name of our Creator YHWH, who in English is called only “the LORD” which is not correct.

LIVING OFFERINGS

Romiyim/Romans 12:1 “I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering (sacrifice)-qodesh (holy), well pleasing to Elohim-your reasonable worship”.
When we read the prophecies of the end times, we read about deception, wars, persecution and so much more. What do you think about it? Do you suppose it never happen here in America? Are we more holy than all other Nations?
Persecution is going on now in the world and even to a certain extent here in America. Are you surprised?
Yet if we would go to a Christian service on Sunday morning we may hear loud music which is no different than the rock music that it is heard at a worldly rock concert. And this music is call worship to the Lord! But at times, I wonder which lord is being worshiped!
How different is this music than the one that is heard in heaven! There is no comparison! If I, as a human being, find this music horrible, I wonder how Yahweh our Creator finds it!
But people do what they habitually do, no matter what the situation they are in. Although they are followers of Mashiach, they love their rock music so much that they adapt the lyrics to sound holy, and offer them to Yahweh in worship!   However, this is not pleasing to Him. Rock music is not intended to worship the most Holy Elohim. Yahweh is not impressed by such music. When we go to a place of worship that it is declared to be holy unto Yahweh, and we hear music that resembles a rock concert, it does not help anyone to enter before His Face!
Tehillim/Psalms 95:1 “Come, let us sing to Yahweh! Let us raise a shout to the Rock of our deliverance. 2 Let us come before His face with thanksgiving; Let us shout to Him in song.  3 For Yahweh is a great El, and a great Sovereign above all mighty ones. 4 In whose hand are the depths of the earth; the mountain picks are His also. 5 His is the sea, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. 6 Come let us bow down and bend low, let us kneel before Yahweh our maker. 7 For He is our Elohim, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.”
One of the essential qualities of worship is humility. We humbly kneel down and worship Him who has given us life and has redeemed us from the fires of hell. Rock music does not meet the criteria of leading us to worship our Elohim. There is no humility in rock music!
We, who call ourselves followers of the Mashiach Yahoshua[i], have been separated from the world, and we cannot go back into the world to borrow such music thinking that we are pleasing Yahweh. If anyone would have the privilege of hearing  heavenly music, would understand that Yahweh is holy, and He does not take pleasure in Christianized rock.  He is Holy and expects us to be holy which means to be set apart, and completely consecrated unto Him. I believe that we, as His bought children, and as His earthly Temple, need to be more sensitive to His ways.
Qorin’tiyim 1/1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Or do you not know that your body is the Mishkan of the Ruach ha’Qodesh[ii] who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim”
Tas’loniqim 1/I Thessalonians 4: 3-4 For this is the desire of Elohim: your qodeshah![iii] That you should abstain from whoring, 4 That each one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in qodeshah and respect.
Sanctification is to be set apart unto Yahweh by forsaking sin of any kind.  We must deny ourselves and serve Him in Spirit and truth.
Believers in Mashiach need much more of the holy fear of Yahweh to manifest in their lives and subsequently in their meetings. We need to stop selling our worship to the devil. We need to be separate from any form of evil.
The congregations, at large, are not ready for persecution because they do not understand true holiness and true worship.
The teachings we hear from behind the pulpits of America, are no longer emphasizing the work Yahoshua has done on the cross for mankind. They speak very little of His sacrificial death, subsequent resurrection, and ascension back to heaven to the Father. The messages are geared to make man feel good.
We no longer hear messages to crucify our flesh in order to attain eternal life. They teach as long as you have asked “Jesus’ into your heart, you are now no longer in bondage, and can sin. They teach eternal life is yours no matter if you are a man and you are having sex with other men. They take verses of Scriptures out of context and make a doctrine out of it. But that doctrine is leading thousands to hell.
The messages we hear now have replaced the cross. The new gospel glorifies man instead of our Savior.  They say that all is well because “the Lord” (Yahweh) loves you just as you are. You do not have to change. It seems as long as you come to the meetings and pay your tithes and offerings you are fine! Really? Fine for who, Yahweh or… the church?   So many preachers encourage the faithful givers to get as much money as they can and live a good life, and I have to add, at the expense of others who may give up their last penny to make sure the preacher gets the last model of airplane! This is not the gospel Yahoshua calls us to preach.
They say to not worry about anything for He is for “you”, and is not against you.  This is partially true, but He hates sin, and He will judge the unrepentant sinner. Without repentance we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven.
He has sent us into the whole world to announce salvation through His death and resurrection[iv]. He has paid the price for our souls to be redeemed from eternal death, or separation from the Father, Yahweh. Man is separated from Yahweh, because of sin.[v]  Yahweh is concerned about the souls for whom He sent His only Ben/Son to die on the cross.  All souls are His. But all souls need to be saved and washed in His shed blood, for without shedding of blood there is no salvation.
Of course not all the congregations are that bad, but many are. What happens to Romans 12:1?  Do we read it, but we do not believe it pertains to us today? Has the salvation message been replaced by prosperity?
Do you ever consider that our bodies supposed to be offered to Yahweh as a living sacrifice? And do you know that if you live according to the Word, you will be persecuted? Are we so consecrated to be ready for persecution when it will come?
Timotiyos 2/2 Timothy 3:12 And indeed, all those wanting to live reverently in Mashiach (Messiah) Yahoshua shall be persecuted.
Oh, yes, persecution is coming to America. And your own family may be the first one to persecute you. If they are living in sin, and they do not have a revelation of the Holiness of Yahweh they will be the first ones to hand you over to the murderers.
Are we ready to suffer for the sake of the truth? Can we stand against lies and deception and continue to love those who persecute us?
I have heard  testimonies of those who have been awfully persecuted for years and years. When they came out of the country where they were persecuted, they were externally disfigured. But their spirit was full of love and devotion to Yahweh and to His Ben/Son Yahoshua. They shined the love of Mashiach. They endured so much pain, but their lives were full of perfect love. They learned to love their enemies while they were hurting. They kept their faith. They had been purified in the fire. Are you ready?
Persecution will purify all of us. Can you surrender your life today to Yahweh’s perfect will, even if it means persecution? Are you ready to be offered as a living sacrifice? It takes true devotion to Yahweh and true faithfulness to Him to do that. You cannot shrink back and say it is too hard. You cannot look back, and be tempted to quit, but must  keep on going in order to receive the crown of life.
Ya’aqov/James 1:12 “Barukh[vi] is the man who endures trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of chai[vii] which the Adon has promised to those who love Him.”
Now is the time to begin the sanctification process. If you are in some kind of ministry and you are chasing glory, fame, and money, stop now, and be content in the gifts you have received. In all things we must be thankful.
Tas’loniqum1/1 Thessalonians 5:18  In all give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Mashiach Yahoshua for you.
Yahweh wants us to be happy with the gifts He has given us. We must be content and thank Him daily.  People who covet other people gifts will not make it during the tribulation and persecution.  Yahweh has to be our only desire.
Others people may think of themselves to be superior to anyone because of their gifts, but they are lacking something very important: Humility.  And this will be their downfall. Pride is an abomination to Yahweh.
Mishley/Proverbs 6: 16 These six things Yahweh hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him; 17 A proud look…”
If we want to be great we must walk humbly and be servants of all.
Marqos/Mark 9:35 …”If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
Mattithyahu /Matt.16:24-26 Then Yahoshua said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up the cross and follow me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 Fro what profit is it to a man if he gains that whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Why did Yahoshua said this? Because some to the apostles were discussing who were the greatest of them. (Marqos/Mark 9:34).  You see pride is in the heart of man since the fall, but we must refuse it and conquer it in and through the Name and the Blood of Yahoshua.
Humility is one of the major keys in the Kingdom of Yahweh.
Galatiyim/Galatians 5:26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory.
Galatiyim/Galatians 6:14  But Elohim forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Master (Lord) Yahoshua haMashiach, by whom the world is crucified unto me., and I unto the world.
Mishley/Proverbs 27:2 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth: A stranger, and not your own lips.
You know what? Almost all  apostles of Yahoshua were killed for their faith! And not only them, but also the prophets and the new believers in Him.  I would be very careful to not place that title of apostle or even Rev.  before my name unless I am really a proven apostle called by Yahweh Himself!  The enemy is very cruel. He gives the bait, then he humiliates and kills its victims. When the real test of our faith will come, are we going to be able to stand?
Let us clean our house now. Let us not give place to the devil. The price we pay to be comfortable in this life, can cost us eternal life. t
Let us walk with humility, and be ready for Yahoshua when He will return and take us to the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.
Chazon/Revelation 19:7-9 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen, is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’”

We are going to be purified, if we want to receive the fine linen garment. But we can begin now to let go of the lust of the flesh. Let us offer ourselves as a living sacrifice with all humility and honor Him with our hearts and our actions. Amen.
